All The Treasure Map Pieces In Path Of Exile 2

In Act 4 of Path of Exile 2, there’s a quest called “Forgotten Bounty” where you need to find 4 Torn Map Pieces. These pieces fit together to make a treasure map that leads to a secret location. But finding them isn’t so simple; they are hidden in different zones, and their spots change every time you play. This guide will help you understand where to look and how to complete the quest step by step.

Forgotten Bounty Quest

In Act 4 of Path of Exile 2, there’s a quest called “Forgotten Bounty” where your goal is to collect 4 Torn Map Pieces. These pieces come together to form a treasure map. The map pieces are placed randomly every time you play. Because the game uses randomly generated maps, there is no fixed spot where you can always find them. Even their general areas can change.

All The Treasure Map Pieces

To find the pieces, look out for special objects in the environment. These objects have green text labels, and when you interact with them, they drop one of the Torn Map Pieces. Each zone has its own unique interactable:

Zone
Treasure Piece
Shrike IslandCorpse Nest
Isle of KinFlayed Sailor
Kedge BayDead Man’s Chest
Whakapanu IslandPetrified Pirate

Shrike Island

Start on Shrike Island. Head to the northwest part of the map. You will find a small path that leads into a cave. Fight some enemies there, and you will find the first map piece.

Island of Kin

As soon as you land on the Island of Kin, just keep walking north. You will find a corpse lying there, interact with it, and you will get the second piece.

Kedge Bay

For the third one, go to the Kge Bay area. Head south, then curve around to the east side. Eventually, you will find a dead-end with a Dead Man’s Chest. Loot it to get the third piece.

Whakapanu Island

The last one is in the jungle on Whakapanu Island. This one is a little harder to find. It’s somewhere between the spawn point and the area’s exit. Keep exploring the jungle until you come across a small camp, that’s where you will find the last piece.

How to Unlock Plunder’s Point.

You will need to explore each of these four zones and find the matching object in each one. You can’t collect all the pieces in one place; they are spread out. Once you have got all 4 pieces, head back to Makoru on the ship in Kingsmarch. Give him the pieces, and he will give you the full treasure map, revealing a new area called Plunder’s Point

When you get there, you will be given 20 explosives to place around the area. Blow them up to spawn enemies and open treasure chests. You can try blowing up anything that looks like it might drop loot, and it works fine. After that, the quest will be finished, and you will be ready to move on with your adventure.
