Cyberpunk 2077 is packed with awesome weapons, vehicles, and items some of which are easy to miss if you’re not paying attention. Just a heads-up, though there will be a few light quest spoilers where necessary, especially when specific decisions lead to certain rewards.
Herold, who you can find in Dogtown if you own the Phantom Liberty expansion. If you happen to miss out on any missable gear from the base game, Herold might sell it though be warned, buying from him is way more expensive than just getting the items naturally through quests. Plus, some expansion-exclusive gear won’t even show up in his inventory.

Guts (AKA Rebecca’s Shotgun)

Rebecca’s shotgun, better known as “Guts”. You can actually find this shotgun hidden in Memorial Park, in Night City Center. Head to the fast travel point nearby, go up the stairs into the park, and look for some monks hanging out. Near them, hidden in the bushes, you’ll find Guts. It’s a heavy shotgun that gives you buffs like more damage, crit chance, and faster reloads, but it also increases bullet spread. So, it’s powerful but a bit difficult to control. Still, it’s great for shotgun builds.
MA70 HB X-MOD2 (Iconic LMG)

If you’ve got the Phantom Liberty expansion, you can find a rare LMG called the MA70 HB X-MOD2 in Dogtown. Head over to the pyramid area, and you’ll spot a crashed AV covered with sheet metal. If your Body stat is 10 or higher, you can rip that metal off and claim the gun. This LMG lets you slot in two mods at once, but has a smaller magazine size.
Claw X-MOD2 (Iconic Throwable Axe)

Speaking of the pyramid in Dogtown, there’s another secret weapon up top. If you manage to climb all the way up, you’ll find a throwable iconic axe called the Claw X-MOD2. It’s brutal both in melee and when thrown.
Prototype Shingen Mark V (Iconic SMG)

Another great weapon is the Prototype Shingen Mark V, a smart SMG that shoots explosive homing rounds. You’ll find it inside Arasaka Industrial Park during the mission where you hack Hanako’s parade float. If you missed it during the story, you can always return later. Look for a shipping container marked 667, but be careful, it’s rigged with claymores. This SMG can lock onto three enemies at once and has a high chance to set them on fire.
Arch Nazare Itsumade

There’s a sleek motorcycle you can grab for free in Watson. It’s called the Arch Nazare Itsumade, and there are two ways to get it. You can do the side quest “Highwayman”, which takes you through a garage in Santo Domingo, or you can skip the quest entirely and go straight to the All Foods plant in Watson. Just punch in the code 0214 on the garage keypad, and you’ve got a new ride.
Gris-Gris (Iconic Tech Revolver)

Gris-Gris, an iconic tech revolver from Phantom Liberty. It’s the personal sidearm of Slider, a shady Netrunner you meet in the story. You’ll need to do the side gig “Treating Symptoms” to get a keycard, either loot it from Milo and Allen, or find it in a side room if you spare them. Then, during the main DLC quest “The Damned,” use that keycard to unlock a graffiti-covered door. The gun is inside. If you miss it, you might still be able to get it later by revisiting Slider’s hideout. Sometimes the keycard respawns, sometimes it doesn’t. The gun itself is wild it can upload a random quickhack when you shoot enemies, which makes it pretty unique.
Pozhar X-MOD2 (Iconic Shotgun)

There’s also a hidden shotgun you can only grab at night. Head to Dogtown between 1 and 4 a.m., and find a construction crane. Climb it and parkour your way to a busted building where there’s a secret party going on. Inside, you’ll find the Pozhar X-MOD2 shotgun. It’s super accurate and specializes in headshots, with huge bonuses to crit damage and armor penetration. Perfect if you want to go all-in on shotguns.

Quadra Type 66 Hoon

The Quadra Type 66 Hoon hidden in a warehouse in Northside Watson. This car’s got built-in front machine guns and tough armor. Just walk up to it and Johnny will chime in, telling you to look for the keys. Once you find them in a nearby container, you’re all set. This vehicle was added in patch 2.1.
Archer Quartz Bandit
During the Ghost Town quest, if you refuse to help Panam get revenge on Nash, Rogue will text you afterward and gift you the vehicle. Don’t worry Panam doesn’t hold a grudge, so you can still romance her later and even get Nash’s Widowmaker rifle during a later quest.
Thorton Colby CX410 Butte

There’s also a free Thornton Colby vehicle hidden out in the Badlands, on a movie set. When you get close, you’ll unlock a mini-quest called “Dress to Kill.” All you really have to do is find the keys and drive away.
Rayfield Caliburn Murkmobile

Head back to the Badlands and grab the Rayfield Caliburn Murkmobile. Once your Street Cred hits 40, head to the same spot where you and Panam took down Nash. There’s a shipping container with the car locked inside.
Caliburn Mordred (AKA Yorinobu’s Supercar)
Yorinobu Arasaka’s personal supercar in the side quest “Freedom,” which is unlocked after completing missions involving the Voodoo Boys and Takamura, plus the racing questline “The Beast in Me.” After you track down some dead Rayfield engineers, you’ll find the car hack into it or stop it with gunfire, lose your wanted level, and it’s yours.
BFC 9000 (Iconic “Melee Weapon”)

You’ll find it by heading to a dam in Santa Domingo. Climb down to where a guy named Hugo is standing, beat him, and take the weapon. Its stats are ridiculous attacks have a 69% crit chance at high stamina, and strong hits deal extra psychological damage.
Errata (AKA Thermal Katana)

You’ll find it in the scavenger warehouse where Evelyn Parker was kept during the “Disasterpiece” quest. If you missed it then, you can always go back later. The katana lets you do leap attacks and guarantees a crit against burning enemies. It looks awesome and even has official CD Projekt Red merch.
Tinker Bell (Iconic Melee Weapon)

This weapon is found during the mission “The Hunt” at Edgewood Farm. Head into the house outside the main building and check upstairs. The weapon stuns enemies and lets you take them down non-lethally great for stealthy or pacifist builds. If you miss it during the mission, you can still buy it later from the black market vendor in Dogtown.
Satori (Saburo Arasaka’s Katana)
One of the earliest weapons you can miss is Satori, a unique katana belonging to Saburo Arasaka. You can snag it during the Heist mission after the suite goes into lockdown, head up to the roof, take out a couple of guards, and loot it from the AV. You’ll also find a shard with Saburo’s diary entries, which give some extra lore. The katana itself is special it has a fast-draw leap attack that always causes bleeding and even regenerates your health while you’re slicing people up.
La Chingona Dorada (Jackie’s Pistols)

Next up is La Chingona Dorada, Jackie’s iconic pistol. You can only get this if you make the right choice after the Heist, when Delamain asks where to send Jackie’s body. You’ll need to either choose to send him to his family or do nothing (which results in the same outcome). If he goes back to his loved ones, you’ll later get an invitation to his funeral in Act 2, and you can grab the pistol from a display inside the bar. The gun itself increases crit damage and burn chance when you land headshots and it even gives you bonus ammo when you score them.
Divided We Stand

There’s Divided We Stand, a smart assault rifle that you can earn by winning the Six Street gang’s shooting competition during the “Stadium Love” side quest. It’s tricky you have to take a shot of alcohol before every round and use a specific revolver to shoot the targets. We highly recommend saving before you start this one. The rifle itself can lock onto multiple enemies and has a chance to cause poison or chemical explosions.
Sir John Phallustiff

Sir John Phallustiff, a melee weapon you can find if you side with Meredith during the Pickup quest in Act 1. If you follow through with that storyline, you’ll have a one-night stand at the No-Tell Motel, and afterward, the weapon is waiting for you on the bed. It’s actually a solid weapon it has a 69% crit chance and an equally high chance to stun enemies with heavy attacks.
Stinger

Another cool piece of gear is Stinger, a unique throwing knife that you’ll receive after completing the quest “I’ll Fly Away.” Mitch gives it to you after you help him lay Scorpion to rest which involves setting his car on fire and pushing it off a cliff. The quest itself is easy to miss if you progress too far with Panam’s storyline, so make sure you handle it before starting “Queen of the Highway.” The knife buffs poison and bleed damage.
Militech Canto Mark 6 (Blackwall Cyberdeck)

Now, if you’re playing the Phantom Liberty DLC and side with Reed, you’ll eventually get access to the Militech Canto Mk.6 also known as the Blackwall Cyberdeck. You’ll come across this during the mission “Black Steel in the Hour of Chaos,” which takes place after you infiltrate Kurt Hansen’s stadium. During that quest, you’ll need to dodge a deadly one-shot robot while tracking down the cyberdeck blueprints. Later, you’ll be given the option to craft either the cyberdeck or the Erebus SMG but you can only choose one per playthrough. The cyberdeck comes with a powerful unique quickhack that can pretty much one-shot enemies, and it even talks to V from time to time.
Pride (Rogue’s Gun)

You can also pick up Pride, Rogue’s iconic handgun, but only if you let Johnny take over during the final mission. After dealing with Adam Smasher, look for it in the entryway. It’s a strange weapon with a few interesting quirks: if you’ve just defeated someone using the Prejudice rifle (which Rogue gives you earlier), Pride won’t consume ammo for a bit. It also has guaranteed critical headshots when your health is high and does bonus damage against elite enemies. Both weapons stay in your inventory even if you keep playing after the main story wraps up.
Jackie’s Tuned Arch

There’s a special variant of Jackie’s beloved motorcycle Jackie’s Tuned Arch. If you start the game as a Nomad and have at least six points in Technical Ability, you’ll unlock a unique dialogue option during the Pickup quest that gives you a bit more background on how Jackie got the bike. Later in Act 2, when you receive the bike from Mama Wells, you’ll notice it has four tailpipes instead of the standard two.
Kongou
Kongou is a unique, iconic version of the Constitutional Arms Liberty pistol, and it’s easy to recognize thanks to its sleek magenta-and-black finish. This one-of-a-kind firearm belonged to none other than Yorinobu Arasaka himself.
What makes Kongou special is its built-in ability to bounce bullets around corners and surfaces, even if you don’t have the Ballistic Coprocessor cyberware usually required for ricochet shots. Not only that, but its bullets ricochet one extra time and cover a wider angle, making it easier to hit enemies hiding behind cover.
It’s also a lot snappier to use recoil is reduced, it fires faster, and you get a 10% bonus to Crit Chance. It holds a couple fewer bullets than the standard version. You can pick up Kongou during the mission “The Heist”, where it’s sitting on a table at the foot of Yorinobu’s bed in his Konpeki Plaza penthouse. If you missed it there, don’t worry you can buy it later from Herold Lowe at the EBM Petrochem Stadium, as long as you have the Phantom Liberty DLC.
Doom Doom
Doom Doom is a wild, iconic version of the Darra Polytechnic DR-5 Nova, and it’s unmistakably Maelstrom spray-painted and stamped with the gang’s signature style. This powerhouse shotgun belonged to Dum Dum, one of the gang’s most unhinged members.
What sets Doom Doom apart is that it fires three explosive rounds with every single shot, making it ridiculously powerful at close range. It also comes with a massive 300% boost to dismemberment chance, so enemies tend to go flying in pieces. The recoil and spread are a lot heavier, so it’s not exactly a precision weapon but it wasn’t meant to be.
You can get Doom Doom during the “Second Conflict” mission by looting Dum Dum’s body. If you miss it there, don’t worry you can buy it later from Herold Lowe at the EBM Petrochem Stadium, as long as you have the Phantom Liberty DLC.
Chaos
Chaos is a flashy, iconic version of the Arasaka JKE-X2 Kenshin and was once the personal pistol of Simon “Royce” Randall, the unpredictable leader of Maelstrom. It’s easy to spot thanks to its bright red paint job and a bold Maelstrom logo on the slide just like its former owner, this weapon is chaotic in every sense.
What makes Chaos unique is that every time you reload, the gun changes things up the type of damage it deals (like thermal, shock, etc.) is randomized, and so are its Crit Chance and Status Effect chances. So, every reload is like spinning a wheel it might hit harder, or land a nasty effect, but you never quite know what you’re getting.
You can pick up Chaos during the quest “The Pickup”, but only if Royce ends up dead either by your hand or during a Militech assault. If you miss your chance there, the weapon can still be bought from Herold Lowe at the EBM Petrochem Stadium, provided you have the Phantom Liberty expansion. Just keep in mind, the same rule applies Royce must be taken out for it to appear.
Butcher’s Cleaver

NOTE: You can click on the images to enlarge
The Butcher’s Cleaver is a brutal, iconic melee weapon that lives up to its name it’s a heavy-duty cleaver with visible bloodstains, and it doesn’t hold back in a fight. Every swing has a 20% chance to cause Bleeding, and if an enemy is already bleeding, the effect lasts 5 seconds longer, making it especially nasty in drawn-out brawls.
What makes this cleaver truly stand out is its iconic perk: whenever you hit someone who’s bleeding or cause bleeding yourself you get a 13% boost to attack speed for 5 seconds. This effect stacks up to three times, so the more aggressive you are, the faster you swing. And while this speed boost is active, your Stamina usage drops by 40%, letting you chain attacks without tiring out as quickly.
You’ll find the Butcher’s Cleaver during the “M’ap Tann Pèlen” mission. It’s lying around Rolland’s Butcher Shop, right after Placide finishes slicing up a chicken. If you miss it there, don’t worry Herold Lowe sells it at the EBM Petrochem Stadium, but you’ll need the Phantom Liberty expansion to get access.
Fang

Fang is a deadly, iconic version of the standard knife, and it’s got a history it once belonged to Kurt Hansen and is styled after a traditional Yakut hunting blade, giving it a sharp, brutal look that fits right in with Night City’s chaos.
What makes Fang special is its unique effect: when you land consecutive melee hits on a slowed enemy, your damage increases by 33% with each strike, turning it into a rapid, escalating beatdown. And here’s the cool part throwing the knife at someone slows them down, setting you up to take full advantage of that damage boost if you close the distance and follow up with melee attacks.
You can get your hands on Fang during the “Firestarter” mission take down Kurt Hansen while siding with Solomon Reed, and the knife is yours.
Baby Boomer

The Baby Boomer is a special iconic baseball bat that’s actually part of Lina Malina’s merch lineup. It looks flashy, but it hits even harder.
What makes this bat unique is its ability to boost critical hit chance by 50% with each back-to-back hit in a combo, stacking up to 100% if you keep the hits going. So the longer you stay on the offensive, the more likely you are to land devastating crits.
You can pick up the Baby Boomer during the “Dazed and Confused” mission. Just make sure you don’t read Tool’s letter if you leave it alone, Lina will leave the bat behind after she finishes recording the braindance.
Cotton Mouth

Cottonmouth is a quirky but deadly one-handed club that looks more like a fancy walking cane than a weapon. It’s the personal weapon of Fingers, the ripperdoc you meet in Night City.
What makes Cottonmouth special is its mix of Electrical and Chemical damage. Every hit has a 25% chance to either shock your enemy for a quick burst of bonus damage, or poison them, causing their health to slowly drain over the next few seconds.
You can find Cottonmouth during the mission “The Space in Between.” Just look for it on the coffee table in Fingers’ clinic.
Cocktail Stick

Cocktail Stick is a flashy, bright pink katana once wielded by Evelyn Parker and while it looks elegant, it’s seriously deadly.
Its unique power kicks in when you’re using Optical Camo. If you land a hit while cloaked, the enemy will start bleeding for 16 seconds, losing 4% of their health every half second. On top of that, they’ll be unable to dodge, dash, or double-jump, making them easy targets.
You can grab the Cocktail Stick during the “Automatic Love” quest. It’s sitting in the dressing room at Clouds. If you miss it there, you can still buy it later from Herold Lowe at the EBM Petrochem Stadium as long as you didn’t pick it up earlier.
Byakko

Byakko is a sleek and deadly iconic katana that used to belong to Wakako Okada she kept it on her desk as a symbol of power, only drawing it for very special occasions.
This blade isn’t just for show, though. When you wield Byakko, you’ll get a longer melee reach, letting you hit enemies from slightly farther away. It also gives you a higher chance to cause Bleeding, and lets you leap straight at your target perfect for quick engagements. Even better, if you take down an enemy with it, you’ll get a 10-second boost to your attack speed, and your light attack combo becomes much smoother, with no pauses between the swings.
You can get your hands on Byakko during the “Professional Widow” quest it’ll be waiting for you in V’s stash.
Blue Fang

The Blue Fang is a special, teal-colored version of the Neurotoxin Knife, and it’s just as deadly as it looks. This blade is laced with a powerful neurotoxin that makes it extremely effective in stealth or quick takedown situations.
What makes it stand out is its iconic ability when you throw it and land a headshot, it stuns the enemy for 4.6 seconds after a short delay. If you hit them somewhere else on the body, the stun still kicks in, just a bit later. But if the target isn’t in combat when you strike, the stun happens instantly, no delay. You can buy the Blue Fang from the Melee Weapon Vendor in Jackson Plains.
Mox

Mox is a one-of-a-kind version of the Budget Arms Carnage shotgun that once belonged to Judy Álvarez. She originally got it from the Mox gang but never really had a use for it, so she decided to pass it on to V. The shotgun itself is covered in Mox-themed decals and packs a serious punch.
Its iconic ability makes it much easier to handle reloads are 15% faster, and weapon handling is boosted by 40%. On top of that, if you’ve got an enemy within close range (about 3 meters), your Shock chance jumps by 33% and your Knockdown chance goes up by a massive 200%.
You can get Mox during the Pyramid Song questline. If you finish all of Judy’s quests, she’ll leave the shotgun for you in her apartment in Kabuki, Watson look for it on the kitchen table. If you didn’t romance Judy, it’ll be available right after the mission ends. But if you did romance her, you’ll need to wait a few in-game days until she sends you a message letting you know she’s left a gift for you.
Jinchu-Maru
Jinchu-maru is a powerful iconic katana that once belonged to Sandayu Oda. It’s sleek and almost entirely black, with a bold Arasaka logo stamped directly onto the blade itself definitely built for both style and deadliness.
What makes this katana special is how it performs in combat. The final hit in any combo will always deal double damage, making it incredibly strong in close fights. If you’re using Optical Camo, you unlock the ability to leap at enemies, and every strike you land during that time will guaranteed crit no luck needed. On top of that, Jinchu-maru does 10% more damage against elite and boss enemies, giving you a nice edge in tougher battles.
You can get your hands on Jinchu-maru during the mission Play It Safe, where it drops from Oda after the fight. If you miss it there, don’t worry you can also buy it from Herold Lowe at the EBM Petrochem Stadium later during the Phantom Liberty expansion.
Sasquatch Hammer

Sasquatch’s Hammer is a massive, two-handed melee weapon that once belonged to the Animals boss, Sasquatch. This beast of a hammer hits incredibly hard and is built for pure power over speed.
When you swing it, there’s a 30% chance to knock enemies down with quick hits, and that chance jumps to 50% with strong attacks. Because of the added weight, the attack speed is much slower about 66% slower than normal weapons but in exchange, your base damage is more than doubled (220%), and it pierces armor 50% more effectively.
It’s classed as a Very Heavy weapon, which means it comes with some drawbacks: while using it, you can’t sprint, dodge, or dash, and your movement speed and jump height are reduced. But if you want to flatten enemies with raw brute force, this weapon delivers.
You can pick it up during the “I Walk the Line” mission after defeating Sasquatch or at the end of the mission. If you miss it there, it’s also available for purchase from Herold Lowe at the EBM Petrochem Stadium in the Phantom Liberty expansion.
Ba Xing Chong

Ba Xing Chong is a devastating smart shotgun that once belonged to Adam Smasher. Unlike the standard Kang Tao L-69 Zhuo, this version is decked out in red and black with warning decals and it’s a lot deadlier. Instead of firing one shell at a time, the Ba Xing Chong blasts both barrels at once, unleashing eight explosive smart projectiles in one go.
Its smart-targeting system can lock onto up to six enemies at once, and every projectile explodes on impact, dealing Thermal damage in a 2.5-meter radius. It’s especially brutal in close-quarters, with a high chance to wound or dismember enemies, and a small chance to set them on fire.
Things get even more intense when your health drops below 25%. At that point, reload speed gets faster, crit chance jumps by 50%, and your shots gain a 20% chance to burn enemies. Plus, you take 45% less damage while in this low-health state, turning desperate fights into a last-stand power trip.
To get your hands on it, you’ll need to defeat Adam Smasher and loot his access token. This lets you open a locked room aboard the DV Ebunike, where you’ll find the crafting blueprint inside a chest near a weapon rack. Build it, and you’ll be carrying the same shotgun that once belonged to one of Night City’s deadliest machines.
