Chapter 12 of Doom: The Dark Ages, located at the Sentinel Command Station, contains secret areas and entertaining collectibles. If you enjoy discovering hidden areas and you don’t wish to miss a single secret, this guide is for you. Every secret awards you with goodies such as Gold, Weapon Skins, Life Sigils, and toys. Below is the list of all the secret places and where the toy can be found in this chapter.
All Secret Areas & Toys in Chapter 12
Chapter 12 of Doom: The Dark Ages contains 9 secret areas and one collectible toy. Because the level is open-world, you can visit the Gore Portals in any order.

1. First Secret Area & Codex Enrty
After leaving the air vent, ignore the path to the left and go straight ahead to find a hole in the wall on your right that has the codex entry item inside.
2. Second Secret Area & Weapon Skin (Chainshot – Nightmare)
In the Control Room, move to the left wall where you will see a vent cover that can be blown up with your Shield Charge. This entrance will take you to a room that is full of 14 Gold and the Weapon Skin, along with some demons.
3. Third Secret Area & Collectible Area
Get to a ventilation shaft. After getting inside, go right to grab 6 Gold, and right again to find the Life Sigil, and the secret area.
4. Fourth Secret Area & Ruby
After riding an elevator, you will sooner or later jump over a gap via a Shield Jump. Move to the far end of the corridor and fall into the pit to reveal the Ruby and Gold.
5. Fifth Secret Area & Collectible Area
After you get the Yellow Key, open the door to the elevator and jump over the gap to find a chest filled with 50 Gold. After grabbing the last chest, turn around and you’ll see a vent cover you can break using your Shield Charge. Break it, then turn left to find the final 8 Gold.
6. Sixth Secret Area & Light Sigil
Proceed along the ventilation shaft and climb up the wall, then face around to find a Life Sigil. Be sure to jump over to it to unlock the secret area.
7. Seventh Secret Area & Secret Key
Escape from the ventilation shaft and kill all the demons to obtain the Secret Key.
8. Eighth Secret Area & Wraithstone
As soon as you leave the room with the Secret Key, there will be a gate on your right side that you can open with it and access the secret area.
9. Ninth Secret Area and Collectible Toy
Go down the elevator shaft and pick up the next Shield Rune. Finish the last red fight encounter, then go back to the side room with the Secret Key gate. Enter it to get the toy.
