Chapter 1: Village of Khalim
Along with teaching you other crucial aspects of Bethesda’s most recent FPS gorefest, this initial mission teaches you the movement skills you’ll need to live. Even if that “wet” is the blood of demons who have erupted in the face of Doom Slayer’s shotgun, it’s the ideal stage for getting your feet wet while uncovering all the hidden areas!
Secret Area 1

Go to the opening doorway after the Power Gauntlet instruction, gaze left, smash through the door, and then look left once more for a Life Sigil.
Secret Area 2 & Imp Toy

Shieldbash through the green wall to exit the church after obtaining the Blue Key (an essential story objective). Turn left and travel back on the path you took previously to arrive to the church, on the right side of the path is a door you can now unlock with the blue key to reveal a secret and a toy.
Secret Area 3 & Shotgun – Nightmare (Skin)

When you reach a large open space, your goal is to shut down four demonic gateways. You must pick up the Shredder weapon from the drop pod that carries it by following the path on the left. Once you have the Shredder, spin around and look to your left; you will see a jump-down area. You can grab the item after jumping down here and approaching it. A barrier will rise around it; you must turn around and blast the barrels to kill the demons that appear.
Secret Area 4 & Soldier Toy

Return to the section with the drop pod in the middle, then continue past it to a different place on the left where you can jump down to discover the toy and the secret.

Before walking left to the jump pad at the fourth demonic gate after you’ve closed the third, turn right and travel around the corner to locate the Purple Key. Now go back to the beginning region where the first demonic gate was. There, you can use a Life Sigil and the purple key to unlock a gate.

Once the demonic gate behind Secret 5 has been closed, proceed to the right of where it was, climb around, and reach the top of the area. This is where the codex entry is located.

Once all four demonic gates have been destroyed, move on to the next section. The codex entrance can be found by climbing the climbable wall on the right after the next fight encounter, immediately past the large, flaming ruins.
