Chapter 18 of Doom: The Dark Ages, Belly of the Beast, has many secret areas, collectible toy, and ruby. You can explore it in any order. If you want to find the hidden areas and collectibles, this guide will walk you through each secret location step by step.
All Secret Areas & Toys in chapter 18
Chapter 18 of Doom: The Dark Ages has six secret areas and a collectible toy that you can find. Since the level is open-world, you can go to the Gore Portals in any order you like.

1. First Secret Area – Collectible Area
Once you have defeated all the enemies, interact with the organ to move the story forward. Then, just turn left and you’ll spot a gold chest waiting for you.
2. Second Secret Area – Collectible Area
Stick to the left wall and look up, you will see a green skeleton grapple point. Throw your shield to hook onto it and jump up. When you land, the gold will be right in front of you.
3. Third Secret Area – Ruby
After grabbing the previous gold, look up again. You’ll see a blue symbol, throw your shield at it. Then quickly aim for the green statue with your shield to create a path upward. Once you’re up there, turn right and you’ll see the ruby. To get to it, climb the wall on your left, turn around, and follow the path, it will take you straight to the secret area and the ruby.
4. Fourth Secret Area – Collectible Area
Turn right, throw your shield at the green statue, and jump over to the platform. That’s where the gold is.
5. Fifth Secret Area – Collectible Area
Look straight ahead and drop down the ledge. Turn towards the right and you will see a blue symbol. Now, hit it with your shield. Go through the passage and you’ll find some gold. Just behind it, you will find a hole, drop down the hole, and you will face a fight. Once you win, you will complete the challenge and get a collectible toy as your reward.
6. Sixth Secret Area – Collectible Area
Follow the wall on your right and enter the first opening you come across. Inside, look up and throw your shield at the blue symbol. This opens up a hallway, head in, and you will spot the gold at the end. After grabbing it, climb the wall at the back to discover another hidden area.
