In Crimson Desert, several challenges require you to cleanse and restore specific Sanctums. From locating specific items to placing them at the correct spot, completing all the Sanctum challenges can be a bit tricky at times. In this guide, we’ve outlined everything you need to know to complete the cleansing and restoring challenges as easily as possible.
How to Cleanse Sanctum Of Temperance
To cleanse the Sanctum of Temperance, go to the sanctum and clean it by using the Axiom ability, burn the vines using the sword light attack, and fall through the roof hole down to the bottom of the sanctum. When you reach the bottom, there will be a piece of broken pillar; use your Axiom ability to pull it towards yourself and place it on the incomplete pillar. After the broken pillar is placed, climb up the pillars and use Force Punch to slam the broken pillar down to hold it in place on the other pillar.
Next, if you are missing the required Abyss item, go back to the starting area, and check out the second and third rooms. After you find the Abyss item, pick it up and bring it back, using the pot if available or use Axiom to drag it. With the Abyss item brought back, find the empty power slot that does not have a core and put the Abyss in place. After that, use Force Punch to push it down completely through the slot. This action completes the cleansing process.
How to Cleanse Sanctum Of Exaltation
To purify the Sanctum of Exaltation, you must traverse the entire area until you arrive at the location of the item you require that is located underneath the surface of the water. Since you cannot grip any object that exists beneath the surface of the water, you will have to take action to remove whatever is preventing you from getting to the item.
Travel to the location and, by using your heavy attack (both light and heavy attack used simultaneously), break it so that the water flows out from underneath it. After the water has gone out, you can retrieve the pieces and keep moving forward.
How to Restore Sanctum Of Benediction
If you want to restore the Sanctum of Benediction, you need to go downstairs to get the power block and take it to the generator and put it in the slot and use the Force Slap ability to activate the generator. Keep in mind that if you die, leave the area, or go outside a certain distance from the generator, the items you need for restoring the sanctum will be lost. However, if you lose them, you can recover them from the lost items section at your camp location.
If you have made it through Chapter 4 and now have the special pot, this should make it easier for you to grab the next object. Jump up to the window and use the Axiom ability to lock onto the sphere-shaped item located inside. Once you are locked onto the item, you’ll be able to store it in the pot. After that, jump back down and discard the item from the pot, since the option to place it directly may be unavailable.
After you get the object from your pot, you’ll have to use your Axiom to move the object into position on the top of the tower. It does not have to be perfectly placed; so long as you have it roughly in position on top of the tower, then you can climb up on the tower and jump off of it using the Force Punch ability, which will allow you to secure the object in place and be finished with restoring the sanctum.
How to Restore Sanctum Of Mortification
The Sanctum of Mortification will be available during the main story, so you can only access it when you get here with the required character from the story. First off, you need to go to the bottom of the tower. There you will find vines blocking the path. Burn the vines using your sword, and you will find a grate with an Abyss structure behind it.
Use your Axiom Pull ability on the structure, and then place it into your pot. Next, go around to the corner and pick up the object from the nearby doorway. This is another floating cube-like object. Once you have both objects, go to the main puzzle area.
Remove the circular shape from your pot and put it on top of the pillar. After doing so, climb on top of the object. Now, use your jump ability and then your Force Punch attack downwards to secure it in place. Take out your power cube and go to the side where you see an opening in your structure. Place your power cube in the slot and then slide it in correctly before using your Force Punch attack to secure it in place. After doing so, your sanctum will be restored, and your puzzle will be complete.
How to Restore Sanctum Of Absolution
In order to restore the Sanctum of Absolution in Crimson Desert, you need to go to the main room near the boss location. You will see many pots placed around the room. Break all of these pots and collect the Power Cube placed inside. Now, you need to collect the top part of the tower. To do so, go down to the fire-filled room and collect the tower piece.
After you have both of these items ready, you should put the Power Cube into the correct slot by using a Focus Punch. Then you should put the tower top back into the correct position. Next, you should climb up onto the structure you have built. Then you should use a Focus Punch on the top. At this point, the sanctum is restored, and the puzzle is solved.
If you place one part of the puzzle and then walk too far away while looking for the other piece. If you move too far, the item you left behind can disappear. If that happens, return to your camp and speak to the NPC where you donate materials. Check the Lost Item section there, and you can recover missing puzzle items for around 10 Silver each.
Sanctum Of Solace
You will find the Sanctum of Solace in Crimson Desert by traveling in a southwest direction from the City of Pailune. As long as you are traveling in this direction, it should be easy for you to find the sanctum. After reaching the Antumbra Staff location, turn back and then jump down towards the pool of water. After that, move towards the two pillars of stone, and you will find Fusion Reactor Core: XXXV-II between them.
After collecting the first core, turn back and move towards the opening in the wall. After entering, you will find Fusion Reactor Core: XV behind the bars. Once you have both reactor cores, move towards the generator and use Axiom Force to move the cores into their correct positions. After placing both cores in the correct position, use Force Palm to push them into place. As soon as you have inserted both cores, the generator will activate, and the sanctum will be cleansed.
Sanctum Of Deliverance
To enter the Sanctum of Deliverance in Crimson Desert, you need to go southeast from Stormtalon Ridge in the Hernand region. You need to keep going in the same direction, and you will reach the sanctum in a short time. First, you need to light the two lanterns next to the door, and it will open. After the door opens, you need to use Axiom Force to collect the Fusion Reactor Core: LII-VI.
After you have collected the core, you need to go back and climb to the top of the castle. You need to walk over the cracked ground until it breaks, and you can fall down through the gap. You will find Fusion Reactor Core: IV there.
After you have collected the cores, you need to go to the generator. You need to remove the cores from the Kuku Pot and use Axiom Force to place them in the right position. After you have placed the cores in the right position, you need to use Force Palm to push them into place. After the generator has started, the Witch of Kindness will appear, and you can collect the rewards.
Sanctum Of Atonement
You can find the Sanctum of Atonement in Crimson Desert by going southwest from Haunted Hill, which is in the Hernand region. It is located a short distance away, so once you reach the location, you can see the sanctum.
First, you need to go into the room on the north side and collect the Fusion Reactor Core: LIV-I using the skill Axiom Force. Then, you need to go towards the damaged gap in the wall and go inside. You can see Fusion Reactor Core: III located at the top.
After obtaining both cores, you need to go to the generator area. Once you arrive, you need to use the two Fusion Reactor Cores and the Axiom Force ability to attract each core to the correct position. After you have done so, you need to use the Force Palm ability to insert the cores into the correct position.
Once you have correctly inserted the cores, the generator will activate, and the Witch of Kindness will appear. After interacting with the Witch, you will receive the Kuku Watcher Pack and the Kuku Propeller Spear Blueprints as a reward.
Sanctorum Of Darkness
To complete the Sanctorum of Darkness Abyss puzzle in Crimson Desert. Start by grabbing the first orb on the right side and rotating the laser so it points directly at the device across from it. After that, use your Light Sword on the other side to direct the second beam the same way.
Once both beams are lined up, hold them in place and wait for a few seconds. After some time, you will notice blue energy starting to flow through the system. Keep holding your position, because after a little longer, the middle panels will begin turning and glow blue as well. After some time, the panels activate, and a cutscene will start. When the cutscene ends, cross to the other side before the power stops flowing through the rotating devices.
Sanctum Of Penitence
You can find the location of the Sanctum of Penitence in the southeastern part of the map. It is not far from the location of Hernand City in Crimson Desert. If you are coming from the city, then head southeast and follow the road until you get there.
To complete the Sanctum of Penitence in Crimson Desert, first of all, you have to get rid of the enemies in the location so that you can move around without any problem. After that, examine the columns in the location. One of the columns is missing the top part.
You can find the top part of the column where it is lying on the ground. Take the top part of the column and put it on top of the column. To put the column in the right position, you have to push it slightly so that it can fit in the right position. After the column is fixed, climb on top of the column. From the top of the column, jump and use the Force Palm attack to complete the task. After that, the location is fixed, and you can go forward to meet the witch and cleanse the sanctum.
Sanctum Of Devotion
To solve the sanctum puzzle in Crimson Desert, the first step is to defeat all the enemies in the area. After clearing the area, move towards the puzzle and go through the passage. In the puzzle, there is only one object that can be moved. In addition, there is another object that can be moved and is located in the area nearby.
To start, move the first object upwards. Go inside the puzzle and move the object from the inside. After moving the object and coming out of the puzzle through the other end, pick the other object and move it to the location where there is a missing object. Carefully position the object in the location until it is fixed in the correct position. Next, pick the other object and move it to the left pillar, where there is a missing object.
After placing the two in their correct positions, climb up, jump, and use your Force Palm attack to activate the mechanism. After the attack hits, the sanctum will be reactivated, and the puzzle is complete. A conversation will then start where the witch tells you that the Sanctum of Devotion has come back to life and thanks you for your help.
Sanctum Of Veneration
You can find Sanctum of Veneration on Mount Benus, located in the southeastern part of Delesyia in Crimson Desert. After defeating all the enemies in the Sanctum of Veneration, jump down to the left side and go towards the southern part of the Sanctum of Veneration. There, you will find a hidden door in the shape of a brick wall. Use Nature’s Grasp to open this secret wall. Inside this secret room, you will find the Fusion Reactor Core: XIII.
Use Axiom Force to take this core. Then, go back to the main area in Sanctum of Veneration. On the left side of the Sanctum of Veneration puzzle area, you will find an empty battery slot where you need to put the core. Use Axiom Force to put the core in this slot. If green leaves start floating around it, it means it is in the correct position. Stand in front of it, use Focus, and then use Force Palm to lock it in. When it is set in the correct position, it means you have completed this puzzle.
Sanctum Of Faith
To solve the sanctum puzzle in Crimson Desert, the first thing to do is clear the area of any enemies. After clearing the area, you need to proceed to the puzzle and burn the obstacle with the fire skill. After burning the obstacle, you can then go to the higher area and burn the second obstacle.
Face the front of the sanctum, then go to the right side and turn left into a small ruined room with part of the ceiling collapsed. In the middle of that room, you will find the floating Fusion Reactor Core: XXXII-IV. Pick it up and bring it back to the sanctum, because the back-right pillar is missing that exact core. Use Axiom Force to move the core into the correct position on the pillar. Once it is lined up properly, jump and use Force Palm to strike it into place and lock it in. This will complete that part of the puzzle.
In the location of the sanctum puzzle, you will find another object and another structure that can be moved. You can then move the object back to the sanctum and position it in the correct location where the object can connect with the structure. After positioning the object in the correct location, you can then move the cube to the correct location where the object is missing.
Sanctum Of Oblation
To solve the sanctum puzzle in Crimson Desert, the first step is to clear the environment by defeating all the enemies. After clearing the environment, the next step is to follow the road and go into the building. Then, turn right and go down to the lower part of the building. In the lower part of the building, the puzzle piece is located.
Next, you need to go back outside and then go back to the sanctum puzzle. After that, you need to drop the object and then put it in the empty part of the puzzle. When the object is in the correct position, the player can then climb up and jump while using Force Palm to strike the object in the correct position. After the object is struck in the correct position, the sanctum is activated.
Sanctum Of Expiation
The Sanctum of Expiation is located in Crimson Desert, east of Drakesfall Gorge. To begin solving this puzzle, go down to the lower floor and burn the growths. Then, go inside and look up to find a cube. Use Axiom Force to bring it down. Next, go back to the generator area and look for an empty square slot. Then, use Axiom Force to move it to the empty slot. When it is in the correct position, use Force Palm to put it inside.
After that, proceed north through the archway to another room where part of the roof is already broken. On your right side, stand near the bars. Use Axiom Force to seal your core located behind the bars. You will now get the Fusion Reactor Core: XIV-I.
Bring this core back and spin it using Axiom Force until it matches the missing section of the pillar. Once this is done, climb up the pillar, jump, and use Aerial Force Palm to strike the pillar into position. Once both cores are in position, the puzzle is solved, and the Sanctum of Expiation will be cleansed.
Sanctum Of Renunciation
To reach the Sanctum of Renunciation, you need to go northeast from Drywind Valley. Going inside will bring you to a room with bars on both sides.
First, you need to enter through the gap on the southeast side. Going up to the higher ledge in this area will allow you to collect the Fusion Reactor Core: XIII – III. You need to put this on top of the column in this area. You can do this by taking it over to the column and using the Aerial Force Palm to put it in its correct location.
Next, you need to go to the other side of the room with bars. You need to enter through the second gap. Going up will allow you to obtain another cube. You need to get enough height by going onto an object in this area and using Axiom Force to bring it down. Next, you need to go back to the generator and use Axiom Force to put it in the empty square slot. You can then use Force Palm to put it in its correct location.
Sanctum Of Revelation
The Sanctum of Revelation is located northeast of Serpent Marsh in Demeniss. To start the puzzle, head west inside the sanctum and go down to the lower floor. You will see a small room with a weak roof stand on top of it, and the roof will break, opening a gap that lets you drop inside. Down there, use Axiom Force on the core to collect Fusion Reactor Core: XXXIV – VI. Bring it back to the main puzzle area and place it on top of the broken pillar.
Next, climb onto a nearby rock so you can get a better angle. From there, aim Axiom Force at Fusion Reactor Core: IX and pull it down into the empty square slot on the generator. Once the core is lined up properly, use Force Palm to push it into place and activate the mechanism. After both parts are restored, the Sanctum of Revelation will be completed, and you can speak with the witch to finish the objective.
