In Dying Light: The Beast, you’ll come across safes hidden in different parts of the world. Each one needs a three-number code to unlock, and the clues are usually hidden away in notes, puzzles, or little secrets nearby.
Opening these safes is always worth the effort since they can hold anything from powerful legendary weapons to rare quest items and valuable loot. This guide covers every safe location, code, and reward we’ve found so far, so you can get them all without missing a thing.
All Safe Codes, Combinations & Locations
In Dying Light: The Beast, safes are present all across the map, each hiding rewards inside. To open them, you’ll need a three-number code, and most of the time the clue for it is written on a nearby note.
Remember, once you open a safe, its loot is permanent it won’t reset, so you can’t farm it over and over. Cracking these safes can get you legendary weapons, rare quest items, and other valuable loot. Here’s a full list of every safe location and combination we’ve come across so far.
Abandoned Rocker House
Inside the Abandoned Rocker House, you’ll find a safe. The code is 2-2-19, which is actually the date of the Bloody Rabbits concert. Open it up to claim the Sunray Legendary Revolver along with some revolver ammo.
School in the Villa Area
Head into the school and make your way to the Director’s Office. On the board, you’ll see some binary numbers convert them into decimals to get the code: 5-50-90. Inside, you’ll find some valuables.
Chief Engineer’s Office (Cable Guy Quest)
In the Chief Engineer’s Office, there’s another safe. Use the combination 27-1-15 to open it. Your reward will be valuables and a handy Military Medkit.
A Love Letter Safe
Check behind the dog’s picture to find the code: 11-14-20. Unlock the safe and you’ll be rewarded with valuables.
Hotel Safe
At the hotel, look for the safe and punch in the code 7-6-1. Inside, you’ll find valuables plus a Military Medkit.
Abandoned Attic near Town Hall
Search the abandoned attic close to the Town Hall, where you’ll come across another safe. The code here is 11-24-32. Cracking it open gives you valuables and a Military Medkit.
Hydro Puzzle Quest – Sewer Stash
During the Hydro Puzzle Quest, you’ll find a safe in the sewer stash. Shine your UV Flashlight on the wall to reveal the code: 21-69-35. Inside are valuables and some Old World Money.
Iris’ House (Last Wish Quest)
As part of the Last Wish Quest, head to Iris’ House. The safe code is 20-7-6. Your reward here is Iris’ Music Box, a special quest item.
Passport Office
In the Passport Office, the safe can be opened with the code 11-51-16. You’ll get valuables once it’s unlocked.
Hidden Attic Safe (D3 Treasure Map – Hardware Store)
Using the D3 Treasure Map, check the attic in front of the Hardware Store. A note near the TV reveals the code: 12-25-55. This safe gives you a Medkit and five Legendary Regeneration Boosters.
Supermarket Parcel Dropbox Locker
Lastly, at the supermarket, you’ll come across the parcel dropbox locker safe. Enter the code 65-63-35. Inside, you’ll score valuables and more Old World Money.
Old Town Experiment On The Infected Safe
In Old Town, look for the small orange house with the “Experiment on Infected” safe inside. Shine your UV flashlight on the whiteboard, and you’ll see the code revealed: 15-22-40.
Nate Market Package Locker
In the Villa area at Nate Market, you’ll find the Supermarket Locker. The code is written on a note inside a nearby yellow house: 087427.
Gummy Bears Safe
In the Industrial Zone, around the factory area (B3 on the map), you’ll find a sewage entrance. Jump down inside, keep moving forward, climb up, and you’ll reach a chemical room with a safe. The code for the safe is 18-20-66. Inside, you’ll get Morphine (Legendary valuable) and a C-0M Pistol (Common pistol) as your reward.
Taurus Megastore Safe
On Recreation Island at the Taurus Megastore, you’ll come across a safe. The code can be figured out by feeling the controller’s vibrations, and it’s 22-44-66.
Railway Station Delivery Locker
The Railway Station Delivery Locker is located near the station. To get the code, check inside the train parked in front of the Hardware Store Dark Zone. Look for the “Come Back Quick” note lying between two bodies in the corner. Once you have the code, go to the back of the Railway Station and exit from the right side.
Farmlands – Last Wish Side Quest
To get the Treasure, go to the Farmland region. Go to the back side of the garage, climb through the back door, and enter it. At a corner, you will find the treasure safe. The safe code is 11-17-8. You will find the rare valuables inside it.
Farmlands 2nd Safe – Last Wish Side Quest
In the same garage area, you will find the third safe on the workbench near the stairs. The code of the safe is 71-61-45. You will find the rare valuables inside it.
1123581321 Safe Code
When you enter the room, you will notice a safe mounted on the wall. Next to it is a small table with a series of numbers: 1123581321…. These numbers are actually part of the Fibonacci sequence, where each number is the sum of the two before it.
To open the Pembroke safe, you need the next numbers in the sequence:
- 13 + 21 = 34
- 21 + 34 = 55
- 34 + 55 = 89
So, the code for the safe is 34-55-89. Inside, you will find some valuables and a smartphone.
New Grain Trailer Safe Code
You will find the safe inside a house. First, you need to climb up the fence to reach the house. Once you are inside the house, break open the ventilation shaft to enter the house. There will also be a zombie inside. First, kill him, and you will find the safe on a shelf near the workbench. The code of the safe is 11-20-30.
Golden Pine Motel Safe Code
Head to the Golden Pines area in Old Town, where the motel is situated. Inside the motel, find the banana pudding recipe. The recipe provides the numbers for the code:
- 86 for the bananas
- 15 for the litres of milk
- 10 for the tons of cinnamon

Don’t Forget Parcel Locker Code
Go towards the hardware, and on an abandoned car’s trunk, you will find the code of the safe. Near the parking area of the hardware store, you will find the Safe. The code to open the safe is 622533. There will be zombies roaming around, so first kill them and then open the safe.
Homework Safe Code
The “Homework” safe in Dying Light: The Beast is located in the Town Hall, and the code is the room number of the Passport Office: 12-18-22. To find the code, locate the safe on a bookshelf near a TV on the right side of the Town Hall after entering, and check the hint beneath it, which points to the room number.
