The Restless Ghosts is an engaging side quest in RuneScape Dragonwilds that has you tracking down scattered spirits. You’ll need to locate four spirits, which only appear during nighttime, and help them find peace. Additionally, obtaining the Ghostspeak Amulet is essential. How to Start the Restless Ghosts Quest in RuneScape Dragonwilds
Your first objective is to locate the Ghostspeak Amulet, found in the Bramblemead Valley to trigger the quest. It’s marked on the map above for easy reference. You need to keep an eye out for a well situated near the entrance of Bramblemead Valley, surrounded by a cluster of rundown buildings.
Approach the well and interact with it to retrieve the amulet and start the quest. After that, your next mission will be to track down the four ghosts across different locations.
Ghost 1: Warren
The first ghost, Warren, can be found a little further from the well where you got the Ghostspeak Amulet from. Head in the direction marked on the map above and you’ll see a ghost in a broken-down house near the waters. Talk to the spirit and go through the dialogues. Then, you’ll be asked to find the other spirits.
Ghost 2: Lazina
The second ghost, Lazina can be found near the Windmill in Temple Woods, right before you reach it. It’s located in a broken-down ruin near the path. Speak with the spirit to continue.
Ghost 3: Finn
The third ghost, Finn, can be found south of the Bramblemead Valley – southeast of the village where the quest began. It’s on a lower elevation so you’ll need to be prepared with the following:
- Level 20 Woodcutting (to chop thorny vines)
- Level 8 Runecrafting (to use Windstep) – Use Windstep to reach the vines, chop them down, and you’ll find the ghost near a chest. Interact with the spirit and loot the chest.
Ghost 4: Kay
The final ghost, Kay, can be found on the edge of the swamp, north of Bramblemead Valley and southwest of the Whispering Swamp sign. It’s in a ruin in a dangerous area. Talk to the ghost to complete this step.
Remember: It’s best to proceed with caution in this area, as it’s dimly lit and swarming with goblins along the way.
Completing the Restless Ghosts Side Quest
Once all four ghosts are found and you’ve listened to each one’s backstory, go to the right of the church (Temple Woods) in to a graveyard and find a flower pot — the Remembrance Shrine. Pay your respects to all four spirits to finish the quest. As a reward, you’ll receive Tomes that help level up various skills. Just make sure your inventory has enough space (at least 4 slots) to claim them or you may miss one due to some issue (some players have reported a bug regarding this).
