    Ores & Jewels

Ores and jewels help you with crafting Plate Armor, Weapons, Metal Shields, and Jewelry in the game.

    Copper Ore

Copper Ore is a crafting material in Crimson Desert, used at the blacksmith to upgrade weapons, plate armor, metal shields, and jewelry. It is mainly found in the Hernand region along cliffs and mountain walls. Use a pickaxe from the Provisioner’s Shop in Hernand or the Force Palm Attack to break ore deposits.

Many deposits are grouped along riverside cliffs, with routes offering around 13 nearby nodes, each yielding up to six Copper Ore.

    Iron Ore

Iron Ore is a key crafting material in Crimson Desert, used at the blacksmith to refine and upgrade weapons, plate armor, and metal shields. It is most commonly found in the Hernand region, especially along cliffs and mountain walls.

To gather it, buy a pickaxe from the Provisioner’s Shop in Hernand, then mine ore deposits or use the Force Palm Attack to break them. Many deposits are clustered near riverside cliffs in Hernand, with some routes offering around 14 close-together nodes, each yielding up to six Iron Ore.

    Gold Ore

Gold Ore is a crafting material which can be used at the blacksmith to refine and upgrade items, especially the accessories. Gold ore is one of the rarest ores and can be found in only a few Gold Mines. To collect it, you’ll need to buy a pickaxe from the Provisioner’s Shop in Hernand and mine ore deposits at the Azerian Estate in Demeniss, or use the Force Palm Attack.

When a Gold Mine is blocked by a large golden boulder, you can use Force Palm to break it. Gold deposits are unique in that each one can be struck 2 or 4 times to break into smaller pieces.

    Silver Ore

Silver Ore can be found near the Three Saints Falls waterfall. Once you reach the area, go behind the waterfall and use stab against the cave entrance for access. Inside the cave, you’ll find silver ore deposits.

    Diamond

Diamond is a rare crafting material in Crimson Desert, used at the blacksmith to refine and upgrade jewelry.

It is typically found deep inside caves and in hard-to-reach areas like the Unicorn Cliffs. To gather it, buy a pickaxe from the Provisioner’s Shop in Hernand and mine crystal deposits, or use the Force Palm Attack.

    Azurite

Azurite is a crafting material in Crimson Desert, used at the blacksmith to refine and upgrade jewelry. It is most commonly found in the Crimson Desert region. To gather it, buy a pickaxe from the Provisioner’s Shop in Hernand and mine crystal deposits, or use the Force Palm Attack.

Many Azurite deposits are clustered along the main road in the northern Crimson Desert or Anvill Hills, leading toward Varnia.

    Garnet

Garnet is a crafting material in Crimson Desert, used at the blacksmith to refine and upgrade jewelry.

It is most commonly found in mountainous areas. To gather it, buy a pickaxe from the Provisioner’s Shop in Hernand and mine crystal deposits, or use the Force Palm Attack.

    Bloodstone

Bloodstone is a crafting material in Crimson Desert, used at the blacksmith to refine and upgrade weapons, armor, and metal shields.

It is most commonly found in the Pailune, Hernand, and Crimson Desert regions. To gather it, buy a pickaxe from the Provisioner’s Shop in Hernand and mine ore deposits, or use the Force Palm Attack to break them.

    Scolecite Ore

Scolecite Ore is a crafting material in Crimson Desert, used at the blacksmith to refine and upgrade weapons, plate armor, and metal shields.

It is most commonly found in the Crimson Desert or Rocca’s Hill region. To gather it, buy a pickaxe from the Provisioner’s Shop in Hernand and mine ore deposits, or use the Force Palm Attack to break them.

    Epidote

Epidote is a crafting material in Crimson Desert, used at the blacksmith to refine and upgrade jewelry.

It is most commonly found in Hernand’s mountain regions, Delesyia, and along the Crimson Desert borderlands. To gather it, buy a pickaxe from the Provisioner’s Shop in Hernand and mine crystal deposits, or use the Force Palm Attack.

    Wood

Wood is essential for crafting of wooden shields and logging axe in the game:

    Flawless Timber

Flawless Timber can be obtained by first unlocking the research at Dewhaven in Delesyia, east of Demenis and Hernand. Once you unlock the Electricity Movement Conversion Mechanism research, you can send a dispatch to produce a Demenissian Chainsaw, which takes a couple of hours and has no durability.

After building the chainsaw, upgrade it to level six to gain Expert Logging, which gives a 50% chance to log additional timber. Using this upgraded chainsaw, you can cut down trees to collect flawless timber efficiently, which is also useful for donating to the camp for extra wood.

    Timber & Fine Timber

Timber and Fine Timber are crafting materials in Crimson Desert used at the blacksmith to refine and upgrade wooden gear, especially shields.

You can gather both by cutting down trees with a Logging Axe, available at the Provisioner’s Shop in Hernand. Equip the axe, use L1+R1 / LB+RB to fell a tree, then keep hitting the trunk to break it into collectible pieces. Each tree yields a mix of Timber and Fine Timber.

    Bones

Bones help you in crafting leather armor and jewelry. You get them by hunting animals in the game.

    Small Bone

Small Bone is a crafting material in Crimson Desert, used at the blacksmith to refine and upgrade leather armor and jewelry.

It is mainly obtained by hunting and skinning animals like wolves, deer, and goats, which are commonly found in wooded areas. You can also purchase it from the Provisioner’s Shop in Hernand, with stock refreshing daily at midnight in-game.

    Large Bone

Large Bone is a crafting material in Crimson Desert, used at the blacksmith to refine and upgrade leather armor and jewelry.

It is obtained by hunting and skinning larger animals such as boars, bears, moose, rhinos, and elephants. Boars are commonly found in wooded areas, while moose tend to appear in mountainous regions like the northern part of Hernand.

    Thin Hide

Thin Hide is a crafting material in Crimson Desert, used at the blacksmith to refine and upgrade leather armor and jewelry.

It is obtained by hunting and skinning small animals, especially foxes and young deer. These are commonly found in wooded areas, with baby deer often appearing in groups alongside adult deer in regions like Hernand and Pailune.

    Thick Hide

Thick Hide is a crafting material in Crimson Desert, used at the blacksmith to refine and upgrade leather armor and jewelry. It is obtained by hunting and skinning large animals, particularly rhinos, bears, and elephants. A good place to look for them is the southeast of Unicorn Cliff where you can easily find bears.

    Short Hair Hide

Short Hair Hide is a crafting material in Crimson Desert, used at the blacksmith to refine and upgrade leather armor and jewelry. It is obtained by hunting and skinning animals like cows, deer, sheep, foxes, moose, and goats, making it one of the more common materials.

Deer and foxes are frequently found in the wooded regions of Hernand, Pailune, and Delesyia, while moose and goats appear in the snowy mountains of Pailune. Sheep and cows are usually found near human settlements. A good place to look for is the Hoenmark Ruins in Hernand, but you can also buy it from the Tannery in Hernand, with stock refreshing daily at midnight in-game.

    Long Hair Hide

Long Hair Hide is a crafting material in Crimson Desert, used at the blacksmith to refine and upgrade coats, leather armor, and jewelry.

It is obtained by hunting and skinning animals, mainly wolves and boars. Boars are commonly found roaming the woods of the Hernand region, especially in the Greenfields Highlands Camp area.

    Sturdy Hide

Sturdy Hide is a crafting material in Crimson Desert, used at the blacksmith to refine and upgrade leather armor and jewelry.

It is obtained by hunting and skinning large reptiles like the monitor lizards and a good place to look for them is the Forebearer’s Barrens. You can also buy it from the Tannery in Hernand, with stock refreshing daily at midnight in-game.

    Fang

Fang is a crafting material in Crimson Desert, used at the blacksmith to refine and upgrade leather armor and jewelry. It is obtained by hunting and skinning carnivorous animals, especially wolves and other fanged creatures.

Boars and wolves roam the woods of central Hernand, particularly north and northwest of Hernand Castle, including the Haunted Hill area. Fangs can also be purchased from the Provisioner’s Shop in Hernand, with stock refreshing daily at midnight in-game.

    Materials for Aeserion Weapons

To craft strong Aeserion weapons, you’ll first need to head to the Serpent Shrine islands to find a crafting book with all the Aeserion weapon recipes.

    Aeserion Scales

To get the Aeserion Scales, you’ll need to search the Serpent Shrine island to collect them. They are large silver scales scattered around. These can be added to your Kuku Pot (unlocked in chapter 4) and then stored in your inventory for crafting.

    Platinum

To craft Aeserion weapons, you’ll need multiple materials. The platinum crafting recipe can be found on the second floor library of the Scholastone Institute. Once you reach the institute, go upstairs, and on the left side, you’ll find the library easily. You can then use the recipe to craft Platinum.

Alternatively, to farm Platinum Bars, you can go to the Witch’s House in Alfonso Estate and buy it from her as well.

    Brimstone

While exploring the institute, you can also obtain Brimstone. Simply offer gifts to tall NPCs to reach level 100 for a chance to receive Brimstone or Rubber from them. Alternatively, you can mine Brimstone near the Hexe Sanctuary and defeat enemies there to collect them as drops.

    Mercury

Mercury is a tough material to gather in the game. You’ll need to locate a mercury pool for this and one can be found near the Hexe Sanctuary. Remember to unlock the Freeze Element, Imbue Element, and Charge Shot. Then, shoot ice arrows at the pool to create collectible Mercury.

    Bismuth

To get Bismuth, you’ll need to defeat the Queen Stoneback Crab in the Deleysia region. Defeating the boss gives you 30 Bismuth and unlocks a farming area for Bismuth ore.

    Gold Bar Farm

To farm gold bars, you’ll need to visit the Demeniss Wildlife Sanctuary and pickpocket bunnies there. If required, you can travel to the nearby Abyss Nexus to reset the area for repeated farming of Gold Bars.

Important Note: Flawless Timber, Silver Ore, Garnet, Epidote, and Azurite are also required for crafting the Aeserion Weapons. You can read about them under the “Wood” and “Ores & Jewels” section.

    Crafting the Aeserion Sword

Once all materials are collected, you’re ready to craft Aeserion weapons with the help of Turnali, the Hernand Smithy.

    Miscellaneous

Miscellaneous materials help you with crafting items like Soft Armor, Cloaks, and certain Jewelries.

    Cloth Pieces

Cloth Piece is a crafting material in Crimson Desert, used at the blacksmith to refine and upgrade soft armor, cloaks, and jewelry.

It is mainly obtained by looting defeated enemies, particularly bandits in the Hernand region. Cloth Pieces can also be purchased from the Provisioner’s Shop in Hernand, with stock refreshing daily at midnight in-game.

    Fleece

Fleece is a crafting resource in Crimson Desert used at the blacksmith to improve soft armor, cloaks, and jewelry. You can obtain it by looting fallen enemies, particularly bandits in the Hernand region.

It is also available for purchase at the Provisioner’s Shop in Hernand, with stock resetting at midnight in-game. An easy place to look for sheeps is the Bloomwood Ranch in Hernand, where you can find a good number of sheeps for a steady supply of Fleece.

    Spider Web

To farm Spiderweb, you’ll need to head to Arboria Castle in the Hernand region, just northeast of the main castle. You don’t need to fight the boss here though, just run through the Spiderwebs to automatically collect them. There are a few spider enemies as well, but they’re easy to handle. This location gives plenty of spiderwebs for bar upgrades and is quick and efficient for farming.

    Feather

If you want to farm feathers, the best spot is just above the Crimson Desert where around 200 flamingos spawn. You can ride your horse to hit multiple birds at once, and each one drops feathers along with meat and bones.

To farm efficiently, ride out of the area distance and return to instantly respawn the birds, then repeat. With this method, you can gather thousands of feathers quickly, and a nearby fast travel point makes it easy to return anytime.

    Ivory

To farm Ivory in Crimson Desert, you’ll need to hunt rhinos and elephants north of Hernand, usually near fast travel points. You’ll need to use heavy attacks or your bow from a distance, then loot 1-3 ivory per kill. After chapter 4, you can buy it from provisioners, but hunting is faster and free. You can stockpile ivory for refining your armor and jewelry in the game.
