Scattered across Lumiose City’s districts and rooftops, these candies reward keen exploration. This guide lists all 31 Rare Candy locations, helping you track down every hidden spot and maximize your team’s strength efficiently.
All 31 Rare Candy Locations
Below is a list of thirty-one rare candies and their locations:
Rare Candy 1
To get the first rare candy, you’ll have to go near Magenta Sector 6. Simply climb the same triangular patterned structure and cross some planks keeping to your right. Follow this method until you reach a ladder that leads you to a rooftop where you’ll find the rare candy.
Rare Candy 2
For this one, travel to Nouveau Café (Truck No. 2) and climb the same triangular patterned structure which will lead you to a rooftop where you’ll find the second candy.
Rare Candy 3
For the third one, turn right and keep going. Jump through one rooftop and then the second, and you’ll find the candy on the left side.
Rare Candy 4
To acquire this rare candy you’ll have to go towards Magenta Sector 9. At your right, you’ll find the structure which you’ll need to climb until you come across a plank. Go to the other side using the plank and you’ll find the rare candy.
Rare Candy 5
This candy can be found closer to Bleu Sector 3. Simply climb the structure in front of you and you’ll find the candy on top.
Rare Candy 6
This one can be found near Bleu Sector 7. Climb up the front of the building which has a triangular patterned structure in the front and you’ll find the candy on top.
Rare Candy 7
Head over to Estival Avenue in Wild Zone 9 and keep to your left until you come across the brown and blue-colored walls of a building, behind which you’ll find a ladder. Climb the ladder, and you’ll see the same triangular-patterned structure on your right side. Jump across to it, and you’ll find the candy.
Rare Candy 8
The eighth and ninth candies are found in the Magenta District. Go to the rooftops of the maroon-colored building and keep to your left until you come across some people chatting among themselves. From there, look to your right—you’ll see a platform that leads to another room where the candy can be found on the left side near a bench.
Rare Candy 9
For the ninth one, go back using the platform, and on the left side, you’ll find another rooftop. Climb onto it, then jump down to another rooftop on your left that’s slightly lower, and you’ll find the ninth candy there.
Rare Candy 10
This one can be found near Café Soleil. Just go up the staircase you’ll find in the front and it will lead you to the top where you’ll see a plank at your right; use it to cross over to the other side and you’ll find the candy.
Rare Candy 11
To get this candy, head over to South Boulevard in Wild Zone 9. You’ll see a ladder in front of a brown and blue-colored wall. Climb the ladder until you reach the ledge of the building. Keep to your left, follow the ledge, and drop down to collect the candy.
Rare Candy 12
This rare candy can be found on North Boulevard. Simply climb the structure and keep going until you come across the rare candy at your left side.
Rare Candy 13
This rare candy can be found between Rouge Sector 4 and Rouge Sector 7. On your left, you’ll find a brown and beige colored building with a ladder. Climb it to reach the top and from there, keep going right until you come across the candy.
Rare Candy 14 & 15
To get this one, you’ll have to go near Restaurant Le Wow in Rouge District. Just climb the structure in front of you, go to the building’s top and you’ll find a green patch. From there jump down and you’ll get the rare candy.
To get the fifteenth rare candy, jump down and climb the triangular patterned structure in front of you and go to the top where you’ll find a big dome-like structure behind which you’ll find a bush with the rare candy.
Rare Candy 16
Go near Rogue Sector 6, there you’ll find a beige building with lovely blue windows. Go to the rooftop, and on the right side, a little near the edge, you’ll find the rare candy.
Rare Candy 17 & 18
Head over to the North Boulevard near Jaune Sector 8. Climb the structure in front of the beige building and you’ll find the candy to your right side.
For the eighteenth rare candy, jump down and go over to the opposite building. Start climbing the structure until you reach the rooftop where you’ll find a couple seated on a table. From there, go left and you’ll find the rare candy near the edge.
Rare Candy 19
This one can be found opposite Sushi High Roller. Go to the rooftop of the building in front of you and keep going left until you see the rooftop of another building that’s a little lower and has a pink crystal. Climb down to the rooftop, use the ladder you’ll see in front of you to reach a higher point. From there, climb down once again and you’ll find the rare candy.
Rare Candy 20
This rare candy can be found between Jaune Sector 9 and Jaune Sector 12. Simply climb the structure in front of you and reach the rooftop, and on your right side, you’ll find a plank. Use the plank to go to the other rooftop, take right, climb the ladder in front of you to reach another rooftop that will lead you to the candy.
Rare Candy 21
For this one, you’ll have to head towards the Jaune Plaza. Climb the structure in front of you and you’ll find the rare candy easily.
Rare Candy 22
This rare candy could be found closer to Saison Canalside. You’ll find an ice-cream cart to your left with a seller. Interact with her to obtain the rare candy.
Rare Candy 23
To acquire this candy, head over to Vert Plaza. You will find a structure in front of you, climb it and keep to your right, and you’ll find the rare candy.
Rare Candy 24
This one could be found closer to Cafe Cyclone and Coulant Waterway. Go right, and you’ll come across a brown-bricked and greyish building. Go to its rooftop and keep to your right. You’ll have to cross a few rooftops before you come across one slightly to your left with tables. You’ll find the rare candy there.
Rare Candy 25
This rare candy can be found in South Boulevard and it’ll take you to a rooftop on whose left side you’ll find the rare candy.
Rare Candy 26
Go to Vert Street for this one. At your right side, you’ll find a sort of bush surrounded with spikes here. You can use Charizard’s Flamethrower to remove the spikes and get the rare candy.
Rare Candy 27
This rare candy can be found in between Vert Sector 6 and South Boulevard. Simply climb the structure in front of you to get to the top and obtain the rare candy.
Rare Candy 28
This one can be found nearer to Aymlis Park in Vert District. Simply go up to the rooftop and keep to your left until you come across one on whose edge you’ll find the rare candy.
Rare Candy 29
For the twenty-ninth rare candy, jump down from the rooftop and climb the ladder of the building in front of you to reach its ledge. From the ledge, drop down and you’ll land at one of those triangular patterned structures, you’ll find the rare candy here.
Rare Candy 30 & 31
To get this one, you’ll have to make your way to the Lysandre Café. You’ll have to do a bit of investigation here to find the Lysandre inside which you’ll get the rare candy.
For the thirty-first and final rare candy, you’ll have to do a bit of exploring inside the lab until you come across it.
