In the Lies of P: Overture DLC, you can find 8 special music Records hidden throughout the game. These aren’t just for fun; you can play them on the gramophone at Hotel Krat to hear beautiful piano tracks, and unlock the “Memory’s Melody” trophy or achievement. Some Records are rewards for completing side quests, while others can be bought from merchants or only unlocked in New Game+ or after finishing the DLC. This guide will help you find every single one of them, step by step.
All Music Record Locations for Memory’s Melody Trophy
Records are a type of collectible item in Lies of P, but they’re more than just something to collect. You can actually play them on the gramophone at Hotel Krat to hear music and doing so also helps you gain humanity. In the Overture DLC, there are 8 new Records you can find throughout the game. Listening to all of them is also how you unlock the “Memory’s Melody” trophy or achievement.
Lisrim

In Overture Chapter 1, head over to the Carnival Garden Stargazer and look for Rosaura nearby. Talk to her, and she’ll mention she’s lost her shoes and ask you to help find them. To get them, you’ll need to hop on the Ferris wheel at the carnival. It’ll carry you up to a platform that leads to the top of the carousel this is where you’ll find her shoes. Once you’ve picked them up, bring them back to Rosaura. As a thank-you, she’ll give you the Lisrim Record and an item called Rosaura’s Treasure: Piece of a Drawing.
The Clear Blue Sky
Start by warping to the Zoo Tram Station Stargazer in Overture Chapter 1. Once you’re there, look around for a woman in a wheelchair named Goddard. Talk to her, and she’ll ask you to pick up a “painting” sitting near her easel. You’ll find it close by, near the tram station’s handrail. It looks like a blank canvas grab it and speak to her again. When she asks what you think of the painting, choose the dialogue option: “Incredible! It is a brilliant work of art.”
Next, she’ll ask you to find her Art Supplies. For this, head to the Elixir Research Zone Stargazer in Overture Chapter 2. From the Stargazer, walk straight ahead and go through the first two open cell doors. Eventually, you’ll enter a large room turn right at your first chance. You should spot a glowing blue item on a table next to an operating table. Pick it up to collect Goddard’s Art Supplies.
Now head back to Goddard at the Zoo Tram Station and give her the supplies. She’ll thank you and reward you with a Dim Ergo Chunk. To finish her quest, continue playing the main story until you defeat Lumacchio in Overture Chapter 4. After that, return to Goddard one last time at the Zoo Tram Station. Talk to her again to receive two final items: Painter’s Sky and a letter called “To the One Within the Darkness.” Read the letter in your inventory, and you’ll unlock The Clear Blue Sky Record.
Nightmare
Start by playing through the Ancient Ruins Excavation Site in Overture Chapter 3 as usual. Eventually, you’ll come to a wooden bridge that leads downward. After crossing it, take a left into a nearby cave. Once inside, you’ll hear a robotic voice; it’s a Crusher Puppet. Look around the cave to find it and talk to it to begin the quest.
Keep going through the level until you reach the Ergo Mining Site Stargazer. Here, you’ll need to use a moving platform to keep progressing. After riding it, head down the path on the right, and you’ll hear the Crusher Puppet calling out to you again. Walk past the crates and follow the tracks going upward, you’ll find the puppet waiting. Talk to it again, and then take the exit beside it to rejoin the main path.
Next, after you drop down from a cave later in the level, turn right and go across a short wooden bridge. This will lead you to a second, much longer wooden bridge. Run across that one to reach another cave. As soon as you enter, you’ll hear the Crusher Puppet calling from your left. Talk to it again and make sure to listen to everything it has to say. This continues the quest.
Now, progress until you reach the Pistris Harbor Stargazer, still in Chapter 3. From the Stargazer, go down to the large platform below. Look for a path made out of wooden planks, follow it. Here you’ll find a Brain in a Vat, who will ask for your help. When the choice pops up, select “Help him” to complete the quest. As a reward, you’ll receive the Nightmare Record.
The Clear Blue Sky (Gold)
You can buy this record from the merchant near the Carnival Garden Stargazer. To find him, head toward the carousel, then take a left. You’ll spot a wooden platform you can drop down from do that, and you’ll land right in front of the merchant. The record costs 9000 Ergo, but keep in mind: it’s only available in New Game+, so you won’t be able to get it during your first playthrough.
Nightmare (Gold)

You can get this Gold Record from Klaus at the Eventide Hotel Krat, but he won’t sell it right away. First, you need to bring him the Luxury Bag, which you can find near the Elixir Research Zone Stargazer in Overture Chapter 2. Once you’ve given him the bag, he’ll add the record to his shop. It costs 1 Ancient Disk to buy.
Lisrim (Gold)
You can buy this record from the merchant near the Archon Fleet Shipwrecks. As long as you’re playing in New Game+ (any NG+ cycle), the merchant will have it in stock. It costs 9000 Ergo.
SURVIVOR
To get this version of the SURVIVOR Record, you’ll need to complete The Tracker’s full questline. Once you’ve finished all the steps, the Tracker will ask you a final question.
When the dialogue choice appears, make sure to select: “They will be, and Krat will be saved.” This is a lie, but it’s the only option that gives you the record. The other choice won’t reward you with it.
Just a heads-up some players didn’t get the SURVIVOR Record even after picking the right dialogue. It’s likely a bug. If possible, back up your save before completing the quest so you can try again if needed.
SURVIVOR (Red)
This record only becomes available after you finish the DLC. Once the credits roll, return to Eventide Hotel Krat. You’ll notice some white butterflies flying around, follow the one that goes up the stairs.
It will guide you past the Golden Tree to a locked gate. Use the key you got from the final boss to unlock it and go into the room behind the gate. Inside, you’ll find two items on a table: Lea’s Recollection and Memory of Halcyon Days. Open Lea’s Recollection in your inventory and listen to it all the way through. Once it finishes, you’ll receive the SURVIVOR (Red) Record.
