All Missables and Points of No Return in Hell is Us

In Hell is Us, numerous missable events, items, and critical decisions can significantly impact your journey. All Missables in Hell is Us

Timeloops

Timeloops appear as warped bubbles across regions, unlocked by defeating Guardians and using an Amine Prism. They grant Relics and Glyphs while halting enemy spawns, but many are easily missed outside the main story. Here’s a list of all the Timeloops and their locations: 

Jeljin

The Jeljin Timeloop can be found within the underground tunnels beneath the digsite. Navigate through the passageways until you reach a ladder, which leads directly up to the Timeloop.

Arcas Spire

At Arcas Spire, the Timeloop sits at the center of the large arena. Flags line the approach, and its massive size makes it nearly impossible to overlook.

Vyssa Hills

Vyssa Hills has two Timeloops: one perched on a cliff beside a toppled pillar with enemies nearby, and another set among ancient ruins close to towering Primeval statues.

Marastan

In Marastan, the Timeloop sits within moss-covered ruins beyond the central zone. Cross the water, enter the crumbling structure, and you’ll come across the Timeloop hidden inside.

Auriga Museum

The Auriga Museum Timeloop is situated on floor B4, near where you interact with Doctor Mabden. It can be found beside a computer used to summon the remaining Guardians.

Senedra Forest

The Senedra Forest Timeloop is protected by four Guardians: one Feral Walker on a dirt path near ruins, another by the farm fences outside a gate, a Negator with a Grief Protector beside the loop, and a final Walker deeper in the woods atop a hill near red barrels.

Lymbic Forge

The Lymbic Forge Timeloop is found beneath the ruins. Take the elevator down, cross the stone walkway, and head right past the water-covered stele to reach it.

Temple of the Fallen

The Temple of the Fallen Timeloop is positioned right at the temple’s entrance, clearly visible in the center as soon as you step inside.

Acasa Marshes

The Acasa Marshes contain two Timeloops: one positioned directly along the main road amid hostile enemies, and another hidden within the ruins on the path to Pathem Abbey, accessible by navigating ladders and walkways.

Talju

The Talju Timeloop can be found just outside the city walls. Pass through a collapsed section of the wall and follow the dirt tracks until the Timeloop comes into view.

Items

Optional items in the game can be missed and are categorized into four types: Exploration, Research, Miscellaneous, and Consumables. Exploration and Research items are essential for completing side objectives like Good Deeds, Mysteries, and accessing Vaults of Knowledge. Consumables grant temporary boosts, restore health, or enhance equipment, whereas Miscellaneous items serve purely for lore or narrative insight without impacting gameplay.

Note: Investigation items are vital Key Items, indispensable for story progression, exploration, and solving essential puzzles and major in-game challenges.

Vaults of Forbidden Knowledge 

The Vaults of Forbidden Knowledge are secret areas secured by puzzles, holding rare loot. Access requires locating them and figuring out the correct code, and they can be opened at any time once the solution is known. Secret APC Cache

The Secret APC Cache is a missable mystery exclusive to Deluxe edition players—without it, the APC cannot be accessed. Deluxe owners start with the first half of the code (199) in their inventory, while the second half (301) is found by looting the OMSIF Commander near the Senedra trench by the APC crash site.

Combine both halves (199301) to unlock the cache and claim rewards: Drone Bypass, Small Lymbic Capacitor, and Mark of the Griffon. This secret doesn’t appear in the Mysteries list and won’t affect achievement tracking, so it can easily be missed.

All Points of No Return in Hell is Us

Act 3 

After placing all four keystones in Lake Cynon, the massive sealed door opens, marking the point of no return. Manual save points no longer allow travel to the APC, so ensure your gear, upgrades, and consumables are fully prepared before proceeding. Entering the door leads to a tunnel toward Mount Obek and the Golden Eye, where the final challenge awaits.

At Lymbic Forge, return to the keystone altars to stop the calamity, defeating waves of enemies as you insert each keystone. Pull the lever to descend Mount Obek, collecting Four Colored Orbs (Cobalt, Gold, Emerald, Crimson), Amine Prism – Rho, and a key clue.

At the Eye of God, defeat all Big Hallows, then place the orbs: Sword–Crimson, Dripping–Cobalt, Torch–Gold, Rectangle–Emerald. Energy rays will focus on the Timeloop; enter it, use the Amine Prism – Rho, and place the Heirloom Necklace in the central device to trigger the final cutscene and ending.

Good Deeds 

Good Deeds are side activities involving NPCs, often requiring you to assist them or provide items to advance their story. Some can only be completed after reaching certain points in the main game. Here’s a list of all the Good Deeds:

The Depths of Hell

In Hell is Us, The Depths of Hell begins after completing Power to the People. Examine the radio in the Meloo family’s house to learn about women held hostage, then speak with Korio Della near the APC. Collect the Gas Canister from Deimos Camp and deliver it to Korio Della to refuel his boat and complete the Good Deed. The quest activates upon taking the Gas Canister and has no time limit.

Love Thy Neighbor 

In Hell is Us, the Love Thy Neighbor Good Deed begins by picking up a Bloodied Plushie beneath an oak tree in Acasa Marshes. Take it to a Drunk Man in a vandalized brown house in Jova to receive a Classroom Picture. Deliver the picture to the Despondent Woman, found near the Sabinian Soldiers mural, to complete the quest. This Good Deed must be finished before the end of Act 1 to prevent her death, with rewards available afterward.

Waylaid

In Hell is Us, the Waylaid Good Deed starts by speaking with the ON Peacekeepers under the Lymbic Monolith in Acasa Marshes. Roho Katungi needs a Satellite Radio and Typhon Guile requires Metformin.

Retrieve the radio in Lethe by looting a corpse for a keycard and unlocking the office, and get the Metformin in Talju from a clinic using a key from a corpse on the bridge. Return to the Peacekeepers to give the items. Completing this before the Third Keystone ensures their survival, and rewards can be claimed afterward.

Separated

In Hell is Us, the Separated Good Deed begins by speaking with siblings Edwyn Tosan, hiding in the Jeljin crypts, and Ilio Zarate, found on church scaffolding, who explain they were separated by Hollow Walkers. Travel to the plaza via nearby stairs to defeat the horde of Hollow Walkers, then move to the parking lot to take down the Tank Walker while avoiding the Artillery Walker above.

Retrieve the Keys – Crane from a corpse in Jeljin Cemetery, use the crane to restore scaffolding floors, climb the scaffolding, and defeat the Artillery Walker. The quest activates by defeating all Big Walkers and has no time limit, allowing completion at any point in the game.

Forlorn Fate

In Hell is Us, the Forlorn Fate Good Deed starts in Senedra Forest, where you find a hidden basement and speak with trapped civilians Yohan and Dolo Dulwich. Travel to Talju to loot a charred corpse under a whiteboard, obtaining the Symbol – Flame and Map – Senedra Mountains, which activates the quest.

Return to Senedra Forest, use the symbol to unlock the door, and give the map to Dolo to complete the Good Deed. Completing it before the Third Keystone ensures their escape, and rewards, including the Signet Ring of Rage – Red Tide and Amine Prism – Theta, can be claimed from Gildas Brom at the Watcher’s Nest.

The Golden Watch

After leaving the Senedra Forest Dungeon, follow the trenches and turn right to find a table with the Golden Watch and an unsent letter, which starts the Golden Watch Good Deed. Head back through the woods to Ernest Caddell’s farmhouse, avoiding enemies, and give him the watch to complete the quest, then visit Gildas Brom at the Watcher’s Nest to claim the Waves of Grief glyph.

Where the Heart Is

In Hell is Us, the Where the Heart Is Good Deed begins by speaking with Lieutenant Zao Ru in Jova after Captain Vaas leaves. Follow the road to the tunnel, defeat Hollow Walkers, and collect the Photograph – Girl from the boxes. Return it to Zao Ru to complete the quest. This Good Deed has no deadline and can be done anytime.

Family Feud

In Hell is Us, Family Feud begins by speaking with Edwyn Tosan hiding in Jeljin’s crypts about his father’s ashes. Retrieve the Urn and Letter from a house behind Keol & Sons in Marastan, return them to Edwyn, then use the Key – Columbarium to place the Urn in the mausoleum, completing the Good Deed.

Asunder

In Hell is Us, the Good Deed Asunder begins by speaking with the Grieving Father near the mass grave in Acasa Marshes, who asks for a memento of his lost wife and child. To help him, head to the Village of Jova, locate a red box near a house’s doorstep past the well and yellow generator, and collect the letter and rosary inside.

Return to the Grieving Father and trade the items, which belonged to his wife Camille, to complete the Good Deed. This quest must be done before the end of Act 1 to earn rewards, though the father will still bury his family even if the items are not delivered.

Power to the People

In Hell is Us, Power to the People starts by speaking with Fylias Emlyn in Marastan to learn about a village-wide power outage. Collect the fuses from Seurat Albo’s garage, then restore electricity by installing them in Fylias Emlyn’s, Batran Keol’s, and the Meloo family’s houses. The quest activates once the fuses are picked up and is completed after all three homes have power restored.

Victor’s Vigil

In Hell is Us, the Victor’s Vigil Good Deed begins by inspecting an old car near the oak tree in Acasa Marshes, which needs a key. Retrieve the keys from the balcony in Vitalis’s house in Jova, then return to unlock the trunk containing a necklace with Victor’s name, a recording, Lymbic Twin Axes, a Chromatic Shield glyph, and Lymbic Imbuing. Deliver the necklace to Victor Gaz at the Blacksmith’s Shop to complete the quest. The Good Deed is triggered as soon as the car keys are collected.

Land of Milk and Honey

In Hell is Us, the Land of Milk and Honey Good Deed starts by taking an empty baby bottle from Judith Karry in Jova’s underground. Bring it to Ernest Caddell in Senedra Forest to fill with milk, then return to Judith to complete the quest. It must be done before the end of Act 1 to feed Uli, with rewards claimable afterward.

Performance of a Lifetime

In Hell is Us, the Performance of a Lifetime Good Deed starts by collecting two music sheets, Our Pride from a piano at Jova Java and Losilus Dreaming from a red box in Vyssa Hills, and giving them to Cyan Karsh at the Sabinian camp in Jova. Complete it before Act 1 ends to save him and claim the Pendant of Terror – Lymbic Attunement from Gildas Brom.

Mementos

In Hell is Us, the Mementos Good Deed unlocks after completing The Depths of Hell. Loot the Hand-Made Ring from Cell 02 and the Cigarette Case from Cell 04 in Auriga Museum, then check the computer in the viewing room to learn their owners.

Deliver the Ring to Dag Samson in Senedra Forest and the Cigarette Case to Elzina Tibor in Marastan to complete the quest. Picking up either item starts the Good Deed, which has no time limit and can be completed in any order.

A Light in the Dark

In Hell is Us, A Light in the Dark begins by talking to the Medic at Talju’s Town Hall and collecting the first Signal Flare from a box outside. Each flare must then be delivered to one of four missing survivors: Aska Tiflis in a house, Boro Juven in a garage, Charlotte Topam in an office, and Ylio Botham in a barn, to ignite them and complete the Good Deed.

All flares must be given before the evacuation truck leaves Talju to ensure every survivor escapes safely. The quest activates as soon as the first Signal Flare is picked up.

Never Worn

In Hell is Us, Never Worn begins by talking to Istian Blainey in Jeljin’s undergrounds. Collect the Key – Archaeology Camp from the nearby canal tunnel, open the locker in the surface camp to get the red shoes, and place them in Jova’s graffiti house to complete the Good Deed.

A Way Out

In Hell is Us, A Way Out starts by speaking with Agathe Terra in the Lethe National Library. Examine the Note in the Restoration Office, then collect the Blank ID Cards and Hadean Stamp in Lethe and return them to her to complete the Good Deed. The quest activates once either item is picked up.

Man’s Best Friend

In Hell is Us, Man’s Best Friend starts by talking to the elderly couple in Vyssa Hills, who regret leaving their dog Max behind in Jova. After progressing the story until the Sabinian patrols leave, find Max tied up near a house by the red and green cars, take his Dog Collar, and return it to Alban Vosh in Vyssa Hills to complete the Good Deed.

This quest unlocks upon freeing Max and has no deadline, with an optional outcome of later spotting him with Rebeca at Lake Cynon.

Death’s Door

In Hell is Us, Death’s Door starts by speaking with Diana Kos at the Vyssa Hills Refugee Camp to learn that her medicine has gone missing. The Pill Bottle – Atenolol can be found in luggage near the mines’ entrance and must be returned to her to complete the Good Deed.

This quest must be finished before Act 1 ends and prior to completing Heart of Gold, or Diana Kos will die, affecting later story outcomes. The Good Deed activates upon picking up the medicine.

Incognito

In Hell is Us, Incognito begins by looting the Keycard in the P2 basement parking of Lethe – Ministry of Cultural Primacy. Speak with Mireille Dallaire in the third-floor Lounge, then retrieve the Woman’s Clothing from the Office using the Keycard and return it to her to complete the Good Deed. The quest triggers once the clothing is picked up.

Insult to Injury

In Hell is Us, Insult to Injury begins by speaking with Batran Keol in Marastan to learn about the ongoing village broadcast. Next, retrieve the Antenna Key from a soldier’s corpse near a barn, then use it to unlock the lever box at the antenna to stop the signal and complete the Good Deed. The quest activates once the Antenna Key is picked up.

Samo’s Keys

In Hell is Us, Samo’s Keys begins by speaking with Dorno Grisibel on the rooftop of Grisibel’s Auto-Repair Shop, where he is hiding with his daughter. After learning about their situation, head to Samo’s General Store and collect the Keys – Samo’s Spare from behind the counter. Return the keys to Dorno Grisibel on the rooftop to complete the Good Deed. The quest triggers as soon as the spare keys are picked up.

Heart of Gold

In Hell is Us, Heart of Gold starts by speaking with Atticus in Vyssa Hills. Close the nearby Timeloop with an Amine Prism – Sigma, loot the Keys – ON Vehicle from a fallen soldier, and return them to Atticus to complete the Good Deed.

The quest activates when the keys are taken and has no strict deadline, but its outcome depends on other refugee-related Good Deeds, with failures like missing Diana Kos causing permanent consequences.
