In The Outer Worlds 2, Legendary Unique Weapons are special weapons that stand out because of their names, abilities, or special effects. They’re often stronger than regular weapons and can give you a real edge in combat. In this guide, we’ve put together all the Legendary Unique Weapons we’ve found so far. We have also explained what makes each one special, and have shown how to get them. We will keep updating the list as more weapons are discovered.
All Legendary Unique Weapons
In The Outer Worlds 2, Unique Weapons are special guns or melee weapons that come with their own names, abilities, or effects. They’re often some of the most powerful weapons in the game, but finding them usually takes a bit of effort. This list includes all the Unique Weapons we’ve discovered so far, along with what makes them special and how to get them. We will keep updating it as we find more.
Paradise Island
Paradise Island is the first planet you will explore in The Outer Worlds 2, filled with collectibles, quests, and plenty of unique items to discover.

Rattler


To get Kaur’s Korroder, you will need to side with Kaur during the Saboteur of Paradise main quest. If you decide to help Milverstreet instead, you won’t be able to get this weapon as a reward so make sure you’re on Kaur’s side when it counts.
Kaur’s Korrodor


You can get Kaur’s Korroder by siding with Kaur during The Saboteur of Paradise main quest. Just make sure you help Kaur instead of Milverstreet if you choose Milverstreet’s side, you will miss your chance to get this weapon as a reward.
Zyraniator


You need to fast travel to Euphoria Coast Automech Repair Centre. In front of you, you will find the Quartermaster Automech. You will get the Zyraniator unique weapon for 2500 bits from it.
Thunderstruck



You can get Thunderstruck by climbing up the Skycutter A102 and sending a power surge to the Vox Relay. It’s stuck in an electric grid, so if you try to grab it without cutting the power first, you will get shocked.
Adrenaline Edge MK3


You can get the Adrenaline-Edge Mk3, a light melee weapon, by buying it from the Requisitions Mech vendor for 3,100 Bits.
Emergency Stop


You can start The Saga of the Malfunctioning Mechanicals quest by offering to help Vigilant Hogarth deal with the mech trouble in Westport. Westport is a Protectorate settlement located on the eastern coast of Paradise Island. Completing this quest rewards you with the Emergency Stop unique weapon.
Chainspark Cannon

The Chainspark Cannon is a powerful unique machine gun that fires chain lightning, letting you hit and shock several enemies at once. The only catch is that it chews through ammo pretty fast. You can get it by defeating or convincing Montelli to stand down at the Vox Relay Station.
Shrink Ray

The Shrink Ray can be found at the Crabble Spawning Grounds, but you’ll need the Rift Anomaly Modulator to use it. It lets you shrink enemies down to tiny, boot-stomping size! Stronger foes might resist, but if that happens, they’ll take damage and get briefly stunned from the molecular disruption.
Goomerang
The Goomerang is located at the Rift Anomaly near the Vox Relay and also requires the Rift Anomaly Modulator. It fires a barrage of bouncing goo blobs, and you can aim it to lock on and home in on enemies for some chaotic fun.
Free Market Station
Free Market Station is a key trading hub in The Outer Worlds 2 and the perfect spot to upgrade your gear and stock up on supplies.
Agatha


You can buy Agatha, a machine gun, from the Not a Weapons Store for 8,700 Bits. Agatha’s Surprise shoots a bit slower than normal about 25% slower but every bullet explodes on impact. It uses Heavy Rounds for ammo instead of Long Rounds.
Spectrum Dance Sabe and Pitchball Tosser


The Spectrum Dance Saber can be bought from Fionna at the 2nd Amendment in Free Market Station. Activate Dance Mode to perform the prompted dance moves and keep the rhythm going.
The Pitchball Tosser, also from Fionna at the 2nd Amendment, fires explosive pitchballs. The more Tossball and Pitchball Cards you’ve collected, the more damage it deals.
Golden Ridge
Dorado’s Golden Ridge is the second main area you will explore in The Outer Worlds 2. Below is the list of all the unique weapons that have been found till now.
Wham-Bam


You can get Wham-Bam, a heavy melee weapon, from Moreton Dunsany during the Battle with the Beastly Brigands. You can find Moreton during the Missive From The Lost Days Quest. Head south first, then follow the road as it turns east. Soon, you’ll come across the Zyranium River.
Don’t rush wait for the right spot to cross safely. Once you’re on the other side, keep heading east. You’ll notice a small hill with a campfire on top, and a man sitting beside it. Walk up to him and start a conversation to begin the quest.
Zyranium Ray


You can get the Zyranium Ray, a special weapon, while playing through the Beginning at the Endpoint sidequest. Zyranium-Powered weapons poison organic enemies with Zyranium, making them take increasing damage over time. Mechanical enemies aren’t harmed; instead, they become Overcharged, boosting their speed and power.
Cleo’s The Hunt


You can get this weapon after completing the side quest Pinching the Pupa. At the end of the Pinching the Pupa side quest, you will have a choice: you can either give the Pupa to Biologist Bradford or Trooper Wentworth. No matter who you give it to, your rewards won’t change. You will get the same items either way, so it’s completely a choice of who you want to help.
Death Sentence


You can find Death Sentence in a locked locker inside the Decommissioned Autonomous Extractorium in Dorado. The keycard to open the locker is on a table on the first floor.
Prototype N-Radiated Scythe


This weapon is located in the N-Ray Range in Dorado. To unlock it, you will need to pass a Science 5, Melee 5, or Observation 3 skill check.
The Oracle


You can get The Oracle helmet by looting it after dealing with Seer Landon Wiley in Golden Ridge. The Prediction Optics scope automatically tracks the nearest enemies and adjusts your shots, curving bullets so they hit their target.
Feedback Cannon
The Feedback Cannon can be found at the Alexandra Station Rift Anomaly. Its Sonic Hertz ability makes it stronger as you take damage, boosting its damage output. When you fire, it uses some of this stored power.
Minigun
The Minigun is available at the Decommissioned Autonomous Extractorium Rift Anomaly. It doesn’t need to be reloaded because it draws ammo directly from your inventory. To get the fastest firing speed, you need to spin it up before shooting.
All Other Area Legendary Unique Weapons
These are all the legendary Unique weapons that are found throughout the map of the game.
Rookie’s Reward


You can find Rookie’s Reward on The Incognito, inside a locked cabinet in the locker room near the Workbench. The locker normally needs a Lockpick skill of 11, but there’s an easier way just flip the power switch hidden behind the stacked crates to the right of the Workbench to unlock it. Keep in mind that this locker only becomes accessible after you finish the main quest “A Cause Worth Killing For.”
Deluxe Moon Man Staff and Premium Moon Man SMG
Once you’ve bought the Deluxe Edition and finished the “A Cause Worth Killing For” quest, you will be able to claim your Premium Edition items. After the prologue, Val will talk to you and give you one last chance to respec your character. Once that’s done, the Deluxe Moon Man Staff unique weapon will be added to your inventory.
If you have the Deluxe Edition, completing the “A Cause Worth Killing For” quest lets you claim your Premium Edition items. After the prologue, Val will give you a final chance to respec your character. Once that’s done, the Premium Moon Man SMG unique weapon will appear in your inventory.
Auto Hacker 5000

You can also get the Auto Hacker 5000 by opening the high-security lockbox inside the Incognito. To unlock it, you’ll need 4 Advanced Decryption Keys, which you can find as loot or earn from quests and bounties. If the Auto Hacker 5000 isn’t listed as the current reward, press the switch on the left side of the lockbox to cycle through the available rewards until it appears.
Cloister
Below is the list of all the Legendary Unique Armour that you can get when you explore the Cloister region later in the game.
Boa Skin


You can buy the Boa Skin from the “Perfectly Legitimate Goods” vendor in the Sub Rosa Smuggler area. This armour comes equipped with the Con Man mod, which is a lifesaver in tough fights. Whenever your health drops below 25%, you instantly regain 50% of your maximum health as temporary health. The effect has a two-minute cooldown, but the cooldown time shortens the higher your Lockpick skill is.
Hugging Vest


You will find the Hugging Vest inside the Cogitation Chapels. It comes with two special mods pre-installed. The first, Prickly, reflects some of the melee damage enemies deal back at them, great for close combat situations. The second, Pilfered Materials, comes with a trade-off: your bounty rewards are reduced by 50%.
Mathematician’s Mantle


This unique armour is your reward for completing the Crash Course Telemetry quest. Its built-in mod, For The Equation, provides a nice mix of defense and utility. Every 10 seconds, it automatically ignores one incoming attack. On top of that, if you manage to avoid taking damage for 10 seconds straight, your gadget energy recharge rate gets a huge boost.
Bishop’s Regalia and Bishop’s Coronet


You can loot the Bishop’s Regalia after defeating Ruth. This armor includes the Energy-woven Materials mod, which automatically converts 3% of any damage you take into Energy, letting you stay powered up even while under attack.
Also found on Ruth, the Bishop’s Coronet is a unique head armor piece. Unlike the Regalia, this helm doesn’t come with any pre-installed mods.
Prescience and Emanating Enlightened Seer Tutelary


You will receive Prescience after restoring the Archive. It features the Error Correction mod, a powerful defensive perk. While Time Dilation is active, your Evasion Chance increases based on your Science skill. And if you ever take a fatal hit, it automatically triggers a free Time Dilation for eight seconds, giving you a second chance to survive. This emergency effect can activate once every 60 seconds. You will also get the Emanating Enlightened Seer Tutelary after restoring the Archive.
Cloister
Below is the list of all the Legendary Unique weapons that you can get when you travel the Cloister region later in the game.
Cover Fire


You can buy Cover Fire from the Scientician’s Surplus shop in Laplace’s Garden. This heavy weapon is all about teamwork. Every time you fire it, your companions get inspired, moving faster, shooting more accurately, and firing quicker. The higher your Leadership skill, the stronger this bonus becomes.
Zzzapper

Earn the Zzzapper as a reward from Persephone after completing the quest “Controlling for Convenience.” It has a swing rate of 1.8/s, and you will be able to sneak attacks on the enemies and shock them, paralysing them.
Bar Brawler’s Club


You’ll find Bar Brawler’s Club on Olli, who’s hanging out at the Science Cult Camp east of EARL. This one-handed melee weapon is a brutally modified trench club designed to crush weaker enemies. Every critical hit you land also restores some of your health, making it a perfect pick for aggressive close-quarters combat.
Big Bang


Head inside the EARL building to discover the Big Bang, a Science Weapon built for pure chaos. It fires a single, enormous projectile that completely annihilates anything unlucky enough to be in its path. If you enjoy turning fights into fireworks, this is the weapon for you.
Little Roar


You can find Little Roar inside a safe in one of the buildings in Spireton. This handgun packs miniature rockets that explode in a large blast radius, and the damage scales with your Explosives skill. It’s small but deadly definitely lives up to its name.
Critter Catcher


During the quest “A Most Extraordinary Specimen,” visit the containment room in the Menagerie to find the Critter Catcher. Inside the containment room, you will find a container. To open it, you will need a keycar,d which can be found on a table. It’s a long gun that fires tranquillizer rounds instead of lethal ones. Enemies hit by its Dissolved effect are automatically stunned, and any tranquillized creatures are safely captured and then added as pets to your ship.
Biggest Fan


You can buy Biggest Fan from the Go Getter Goods shop in Winter’s Grasp for 2,375. This handgun rewards rapid firing; each shot increases your critical hit chance and weak spot damage by 5%, stacking quickly but resetting after a short time. Perfect for gunslingers who like to fan the hammer and keep the bullets flying.
N-Rage

Earn N-Rage by completing the quest “A Study in Disruption.” This heavy weapon uses stored energy instead of ammo to unleash devastating N-Radiated attacks. If you run out of energy, it switches to regular ammo but deals less radiation damage. It’s an experimental powerhouse for those who like to play with volatile tech.
Gloop Grenade Recipe


You can find the Gloop Grenade recipe inside the Excogitation Chapel, after exploring the Archive Underlands. Inside you will find a jammed door on the right side, unjam the door to get inside and get the crate containing the Gloop Grenade Reciepe.
To craft one, you’ll need:
- Rift Residue x1
- Energy Canister x2
- Black Powder x1
Ice Breaker


Solve “The Anomaly” puzzle in the Cloister Underlands to unlock the Ice Breaker. You will find a floating container containing the gun on the first floor to the left. This long gun has a powerful freeze effect that can stop enemies cold. Even better, its quick melee attacks deal 800% damage to frozen targets. If you like freezing foes and shattering them in one swift blow, this weapon will be your new favourite.
