Tormented Souls 2 hides dozens of diaries throughout the Convent and nearby areas, revealing crucial story details. This guide lists all diary locations and highlights those needed for the Journalist trophy and achievement, helping completionists and lore-focused players efficiently collect every important entry without unnecessary backtracking or confusion during exploration.
All Diary Locations
There are a total of sixty-four diaries that can be found in the game. Here’s a quick breakdown on how you could get each one.
Diary Location 1
The first one is Anna’s Sketchbook 1. To get this, you’ll have to make your way to the Convent’s southern corridor–2F. From there, head towards the door leading to the Matron’s office, and you’ll find the diary there.
Diary Location 2
The second diary is Sister Miriam’s Diary 2, which can be found in the Convent. Head towards the north corridor 1F, and you will come across a guest room which has a table outside; you’ll find the diary on the table in plain sight.
Diary Location 3
The third diary is Sister Miriam’s Diary 3, and this too can be found in the Convent. You simply have to make your way to the darker section of the infirmary, and there, on the table, you will find the diary.
Diary Location 4
To get Sister Miriam’s Diary 1, you will need to head towards the Convent, and you’ll find it on a table close to the door. This door directly leads you to the southern corridor 1F.
Diary Location 5
This one is Sister Miriam’s Diary 4 which can be found in the Convent. It’s super easy to get as it is found on a display case in the museum; this makes it quite an easy item to acquire.
Diary Location 6
Now to get Mother Lucia’s Diary 1 in the Convent, you will have to head towards the Chapter House. There, you’ll find a table with the diary simply sitting on top of it.
Diary Location 7
To get Sister Angelica’s Notepad 2, you will have to go to the Convent. There, simply look for a stepladder inside the Jailor’s room that’s in the Prison Section. You will find the diary on the stepladder.
Diary Location 8
To acquire Mother Lucia’s Diary 2, start in the Convent. Go to the Prison Section’s crypts, and you’ll find a room there that’s filled with jugs; inside, you will find a table with the diary sitting on top of it.
Diary Location 9
To get Sister Miriam’s Diary, you’ll need to find a barrel sitting next to a strappado inside the Torture Museum. The diary could be found on top of the barrel.
Diary Location 10
To get Joseph’s Diary 1 in the Convent area, you will have to defeat the Iron Maiden first. Once the Iron Maiden’s dealt with, you will need to head to the crematorium and you’ll find the diary sitting on top of a table.
Diary Location 11
To get your hands on Joseph’s Diary 3, you’ll have to head to the Convent. There, make your way to the Arcade, and you’ll find the diary sitting on top of a bench in plain sight.
Diary Location 12
To get Newspaper 3, you’ll have to visit the town first. There, you will find the diary sitting on a bench to the right side of the door that leads you directly inside the Train Station.
Diary Location 13
To get Miguel’s Diary 3, you’ll have to visit the town. Once you go there, head towards the Call Center, and there, lying on top of the table, you will find the diary you’re looking for.
Diary Location 14
To acquire Miguel’s Diary 4, you’ll first need to visit the town. Simply go to the Butcher Shop and there, on a table on the right side, you will find the diary in plain sight.
Diary Location 15
The Newspaper 2 can be obtained on your second visit to town. Head towards the Processing Plant, and you’ll find a blue booth right outside of it. The Newspaper 2 could be found inside the blue booth.
Diary Location 16
The next one is Brother Juan’s Diary 1, and this too can be found in the Processing Plant. What you’ll need to do is head to the Dormitory, and there, on a table, you’ll find the diary sitting in plain sight.
Diary Location 17
To get Brother Juan’s Diary 2, you will have to head to the Freezer of the Processing Plant. You will find a small cell there. Go inside it to find the diary placed on top of a table.
Diary Location 18
To get your hands on Anna’s Sketchbook 2, you will need to follow a particular method. Once you get Brother Juan’s Diary 2 from the cell in the Freezer Room and head out, you’ll come across a character who locks you up in a cell. You’ll need to break free from this cell using the Modified Nailer in order to get the sketchbook. Once you’re out, you’ll find the sketchbook lying just in front of you.
Diary Location 19
To get the letter to Zacarias, you will have to head to the mall. Simply make your way to the Amusement Arcade, and there, on the counter, you will find the letter.
Diary Location 20
To get Brother Juan’s Diary 4, you will need to head to the Processing Plant. Make your way to the Dining Room and try to spot the lantern painting. In front of the painting, you will find a sofa which has the diary on it.
Diary Location 21
Next, to get your hands on Miguel’s Diary 6, you’ll have to wait for your second visit to the town. You have to exit from the mall’s lower floor and head towards the Backstreets, where you’ll find the diary sitting on top of a barrel.
Diary Location 22
To get Miguel’s Diary 7, you’ll have to head inside the Processing Plant. Once you’re in, head towards the lower wing, and you’ll find a small table there with the diary sitting on top of it.
Diary Location 23
To acquire Mother Lucia’s Diary 3, you’ll need to head to the Processing Plant and go to the Offices. Once you enter it, you’ll see a door to your right, go through it, and you’ll come across a dimly lit room with a huge table. The diary could be seen sitting on top of it.
Diary Location 24
In order to get Joseph’s Diary 2, you will have to head towards the Processing Plant. Once you defeat the Harvestor, you’ll be able to access a room that’s basically a toilet. Inside, you’ll find Joseph, talk with him and leave the room. Then, go back inside the room again to acquire the diary.
Diary Location 25
To get Brother Juan’s Diary 3, you’ll need to travel to the Processing Plant and then make your way to the 2F Kitchen. Once you’re inside the kitchen, use the staircase to go up, and you’ll find the diary sitting on a table towards the left side.
Diary Location 26
To get Brother Juan’s Diary 5, you will have to make your way to the 2F Warehouse in the Processing Plant by using the elevator. There, you’ll find the diary sitting on top of a small table near the huge cylinders.
Diary Location 27
To get the Newspaper 1, you’ll need to go to the Cemetery. This one is pretty easy to acquire; you simply need to go to the Cemetery Office, and you’ll find Newspaper 1 lying in front of you on the table.
Diary Location 28
To get Anna’s Sketchbook 3, you’ll need to head to the Processing Plant. There, you’ll have to go to the Slaughterhouse, but remember, the Harvester must be defeated at this point. Once you’re there, move toward the butcher table and grab Anna’s Sketchbook 3.
Diary Location 29
To get the Gravedigger Lazaro’s Diary 2, you’ll need to head to the Cemetery first. You will be able to obtain the diary in the left mausoleum, which is located at the top left side of the Cemetery’s entrance. What you need to do is simply climb the stairs that lead you inside the mausoleum to find the diary.
Diary Location 30
To get Anna’s Sketchbook 4, you’ll need to head to the Cemetery and defeat the Coffin. Once he’s dealt with, head to the chamber that’s in the lower burial area, and there, you’ll find the sketchbook sitting on top of a stone chair.
Diary Location 31
For the Gravedigger Lazaro’s Diary 1, head to the Cemetery Grounds. There, you will come across a large mausoleum, inside which the diary could be found on the right side.
Diary Location 32
To get Joseph’s Diary 4, you’ll have to visit town for the third time and go directly to the Train Station. There, try to find the summoning circle on the ground, and right next to it, you will find the diary.
Diary Location 33
To get Miguel’s Diary 1, you’ll have to wait for your third visit to the town. Go to the Butcher Shop and try to find the area where a bunch of radios are stacked up together; you’ll find the diary here.
Diary Location 34
For Mother Lucia’s Diary 6, head right after getting Miguel’s Diary 1, and you’ll come across a door that will lead you to the Sewer Maintenance. Keep going right, and you’ll come across a dead body with several needles pinned on it; beside it will be a table with the diary sitting on top of it.
Diary Location 35
To get Miguel’s Diary 8, you’ll have to visit the town for the third time. Once there, head to the Train Station and start searching the benches. You’ll find the diary sitting on the top of one of these benches.
Diary Location 36
To get Miguel’s Diary 2, visit the town for the third time and go straight to the School District. There, you’ll come across a run-down house, go inside, and you will find the diary sitting on top of a barrel.
Diary Location 37
The Newspaper 4 can be acquired during your third visit to the town. Simply head to the newspaper booth that’s in the School District, and you will find the Newspaper 4 there.
Diary Location 38
To get the Beloved Mother, you’ll have to visit town for the third time. Head to the Train Station and find a train car. Go inside, and you’ll find the Beloved Mother on top of a small stool.
Diary Location 39
To acquire Isabella’s Diary 1, you’ll simply have to go to the School’s Break Room. You’ll find the diary lying on the dining table.
Diary Location 40
To acquire Isabella’s Diary 3, you’ll have to go to the School’s Kindergarten classroom. Once inside, look to your right, and you will find a set of small chairs and a table with the diary sitting on top of the table.
Diary Location 41
To get Sister Miriam’s Diary 6, you have to revisit the Convent after acquiring the weapon—Sledgehammer. Use the Sledgehammer to break down the brick wall that leads you to the West Corridor. Once inside, go upstairs, and you’ll come across a table on the left side with the diary sitting on top of it.
Diary Location 42
To get Isabella’s Diary 4, you’ll have to go to the School’s classroom 103. Once you’re inside the classroom, look towards the left, and you’ll find the diary placed by the windowsill.
Diary Location 43
To acquire Isabella’s Diary 2, you’ll have to head to the School’s Computer Lab. The diary could easily be found on one of the computer table setups in plain sight.
Diary Location 44
To obtain the School Janitor Joab’s Diary 1, you’ll have to make your way to the Schoolyard. There, you’ll find the diary on the bench placed on the left side of the yard.
Diary Location 45
To get the School Janitor Joab’s Diary 6, you’ll have to go to the janitor’s room near the lobby. The diary could be found on the shelf beside a ladder.
Diary Location 46
You can acquire the School Janitor Joab’s Diary 4 inside the School. What you’ll need to do is go to the Storage Room 102 and find the chairs stacked up together. The diary could be found placed on top of it.
Diary Location 47
To get Helena’s Note, you’ll have to go to Classroom 101 upon reaching the School. The diary can be found on the big table near the blackboard.
Diary Location 48
In order to get Miguel’s Diary 5, you’ll have to go to the School. Once there, go to the Playground and find the bench by the swing. The diary could be found sitting on the bench in plain sight.
Diary Location 49
In order to get Isabella’s Diary 5, you’ll have to go to Classroom 102 in the School. Inside the classroom, you’ll find the diary on top of the teacher’s desk right in front of the board.
Diary Location 50
To obtain School Janitor Joab’s Diary 3, you’ll have to go to the School. Head to Classroom 201 and go to the teacher’s desk in front of the board in order to acquire the diary.
Diary Location 51
To get the School Janitor Joab’s Diary 2, you’ll have to go to the School. Once there, head to the Boys’ Restroom towards the East Corridor, and you’ll find the diary placed on a sink.
Diary Location 52
In order to get Isabella’s Diary 6 during your visit to the School, you’ll have to make your way to the Girls’ Restroom that’s on the second floor of the Schoolyard. You’ll find the diary on a bench just outside of the restroom.
Diary Location 53
To get Anna’s Sketchbook 5, you’ll have to make your way to the School. Remember, in order to get this, you’ll have to defeat the Pighead first. Go to the Archives place and head upstairs; you’ll find the sketchbook sitting on top of the windowsill.
Diary Location 54
The School Janitor Joab’s Diary 5 (missable) could be found in the School. What you’ll need to do is head to the Archives place, and you’ll find the diary on top of a stool that’s towards the right side of the room.
This diary is missable because if you choose the good ending, then the director’s office becomes locked, and this results in you being unable to access the archives.
Diary Location 55
To get Sister Angelica’s Notepad 2, you’ll have to head to the Church. You’ll be able to get the notepad in the Wake Room. In order to access the room, you’ll have to use a Crowbar to unlock the door first, then go inside and grab the diary that’s sitting on the pedestal.
Diary Location 56
To get Dr. Natanael’s Notes 3, you’ll need to head inside the Bunker. Once you’re in, you’ll see a flight of stairs that will take you to the bottom, where you’ll find the notes lying on the floor in plain sight.
Diary Location 57
To acquire Mother Lucia’s Diary 5, you’ll need to go to the Church and make your way to the Administrative Room. But in order to reach the room, you’ll have to take the elevator, which needs to be fixed first. You’ll need Pliers, a rubber hose, and Wire to fix it. Once it’s good to go, take the elevator up and go to the Sacristy, then the Administrative Office. Inside, you’ll find the diary on top of a small table.
Diary Location 58
To get Sister Angelica’s Notepad 5, you’ll need to make your way to the Bunker Office. Go to the Generator Corridor and take the stairs on the right side to reach the Bunker Office. Inside the office, you’ll find the notepad placed on top of a table that’s on the left side of the room.
Diary Location 59
To acquire Sister Angelica’s Notepad 7, you’ll need to go to the Church’s other side. Make your way to the Undercroft, and you’ll find the diary sitting on top of a stone bench placed towards the right side from the entrance.
Diary Location 60
For you to obtain Sister Angelica’s Notepad 6, you’ll need to go to the Generator Room inside the Bunker. Remember, in order to enter the Generator Room, you’ll need to scan your hand first to unlock the door. Once you’re inside, you’ll find the notepad on top of one of the generators.
Diary Location 61
To get Mother Lucia’s Diary 4, you’ll have to head to the Bunker and make your way to the laboratory. Remember that you’ll need to use your Access Card to unlock the door. Once inside, go straight, then take right to reach the machine, which has the diary placed on top of it.
Diary Location 62
To get Sister Angelica’s Notepad 4 (missable), you’ll need to go to the Rotunda Corridor in the Bunker. Keeping going until you come across the Containment Ward, where you’ll find a Cassette Player. Play it in order to get to the laboratory (past), then go to the same location where you found Mother Lucia’s Diary 4, and you’ll find the notepad there.
This diary is missable because if you cure yourself of the Puppet virus and leave, then you won’t be able to return and collect the notepad.
Diary Location 63
To get Sister Angelica’s Notepad 3, you’ll need to go to Bunker’s Generator Corridor. Once you’re inside the corridor, keep to your right, then turn left, and start walking until you come across a big machine with the notepad sitting on top of it.
Diary Location 64
To get Dr. Natanael’s Notes 1, you’ll have to make your way to the Bunker and head to the passage leading to the elevator that takes you to B2. You’ll find the notes lying on top of a machine in the passage.
Diary Location 65
To obtain Dr. Natanael’s Notes 2, you’ll need to go to the Rotunda Corridor in the Bunker. You’ll find the notes lying on the floor in front of you just as you enter the corridor.
