Episode 8 is the finale of Dispatch, bringing all your choices and storylines together for one last showdown. While many dialogue options only change short cutscenes, a few key choices can influence how the story ends. This guide breaks down every choice and outcome in Episode 8, helping you experience the ending of Dispatch.
Dispatch Episode 8 Walkthrough
The final episode of Dispatch starts with everyone in the office preparing to take on the Red Ring. Blond Blazer gets ready to head out and protect the city, and this is where you’ll get your very first dialogue choice. You can pick any option that won’t affect the story.
- Go.
- Just come back.
- Stay.
Power Outage and the Lab Encounter
When the power suddenly goes out, Robert heads off to check on Chase. Inside the lab, he finds Royd fighting Invisigal. You’ll get a set of dialogue options here, but you can choose whichever ones you like; none will change the story’s outcome.
- Stop kicking him!
- What is going on?
- Let go of her!
- Call Blonde Blazer.
- We need the Z-Team.
- Fire up my suit.
After Royd leaves, Robert talks to Invisigal, and you’ll have another small dialogue moment where, again, any option works.
- Why didn’t you tell me?
- You heard Royd.
- I can’t trust you.
Choosing to Untie Invisigal

As Red Ring members approach, Invisigal will ask you to untie her. If you choose to go it alone, she’ll leave after you defeat the enemy. But if you decide to untie her, she’ll stay and help you fight. This decision actually affects how the game ends, so think it through.
If you untie her, you’ll get another short conversation right after, and you can once again pick any choice you want.
- No way.
- You do it.
- Yeah, alright.
The Courtyard and the Red Ring
Once you suit up as Mecha Man and step into the courtyard, you’ll run into the Red Ring and have a brief exchange with Toxic. During this chat, you can go with any dialogue option; it won’t make a difference to the story.
- Come and claim it.
- I shoulda have dropped you.
- Where’s Shroud?
The Mecha Spider Fight
Soon after, the Mecha Spider arrives, and it’s time for a big battle. This part involves a bunch of Quick Time Events (QTEs), so stay sharp. Your choices during these action moments only change the short cutscenes; they don’t actually impact the storyline.
- Can we skip this part?
- Predict me beating your a**
- Hard to do when you’re dead
- TWIN ENERGY BLADES
- MISSILE FLURRY
- CLUSTER BOMBS
- PLASMA NET
Facing Coupe or Sonar

Depending on who you removed from your team earlier, you’ll now fight either Coupe or Sonar. Here, your dialogue choice will be remembered, though it doesn’t change much immediately.
- It wasn’t personal.
- Looks like I was right.
- I’m sorry.
After this, you’ll get another action command sequence, and again, any choice will work.
- GET OVER HERE
- SUPER SPIRIT BOMB
The Rooftop Showdown with Shroud

Once Shroud exits his mech and grabs Beef, you’ll have a short conversation where you can choose any response you like; they all lead to the same outcome.
- Please don’t do this.
- Hurt him and you die.
- I’ll do whatever you want.
When Robert finally reaches the roof, Shroud demands the Astral Pulse. You’ll get three choices, and while the overall result is the same, picking the second option changes the cutscene quite a bit.
- GIVE HIM THE ASTRAL PULSE
- GIVE HIM BOTH
- GIVE HIM THE PROTOTYPE
After gaining the upper hand on Shroud, you’ll get one last big moral choice: whether to kill him or spare him. Choose whichever feels right for your version of Robert.
- KILL HIM
- SPARE HIM
After the Final Battle
If Robert romanced Invisigal, you’ll get a short dialogue with her afterwards. Feel free to pick any option.
You’ll also have a final chat with Royd, where any response works fine.
- You’re amazing.
- Couldn’t do it without you.
- You should be a hero.
Forgive or Forget
As everyone celebrates, the police show up to take Coupe or Sonar away. This choice matter.s forgiving them lets them rejoin the team for the celebration, while forgetting them means they’re taken away with the criminals.
The Final Moment
In the very last scene, you’ll have one final dialogue choice. Go with whichever option feels fitting; it’s a nice way to close Robert’s story.
- They deserve to celebrate.
- We’re just getting started.
- I had plenty of help.
And with that, Episode 8 and the entire Dispatch story come to an end.
