All Bounties Locations in Ghost of Yotei

In Ghost of Yotei, bounty hunting is one of the most exciting and rewarding side activities you can take on. Spread across Yotei Grasslands, Ishikari Plain, Tokachi Range, Teshio Ridge, and Oshima Coast, these bounties let you track down dangerous criminals, cunning swindlers, and fearsome warriors. Some are straightforward fights, while others involve puzzles, exploration, and even moral choices.

Completing them not only earns you coins, but also unique weapons, armor dyes, sword kits, masks, and trophies. This guide walks you through all 31 bounty locations, how to find each target, and what rewards you will get.

Ghost of Yotei All Bounties Locations

Bounties are short side quests where your goal is to hunt down and defeat a specific target. You can start them by picking up posters from the bounty boards found at inns in each region. Each region has its own set of bounty posters. None of them are missable, you can complete every bounty even after finishing the main story during free-roam.

Finishing all bounties will unlock the Master Bounty Hunter trophy, which is one of the Gold Trophies in the game. It is one of the hardest trophies that takes a lot of time and good gear to complete. The bounty system works on a rotation. You’ll only see three bounties at a time on Kajiro’s board. Once you finish those, come back to check for new ones and keep going until no more show up.

Each bounty sends you after a specific target, but you’ll only get a rough idea of where they are. When you take them down, you usually earn materials and coins, but sometimes you might also get new weapons, tools, or even cosmetics as a reward. If you finish enough bounties in one region, a special bounty will unlock. Completing it gives you new armor and other exclusive rewards.

Head to the “Weary Traveler’s Camp,” which is just north of where the map says “Tranquil Falls.” Look for a waterfall, then go to the right side and down below it. You will find a campfire, interact with it.

After a short scene, a man in white robes appears, sits by your fire, and then reveals himself as Yoshitomo. He attacks you, so defeat him and take the reward from his body. After that, you will be rewarded with Sword Kit – Smiling Kabuto-Mushi and 750 Coins.
