Bandit camps are scattered all over The Witcher 3’s world, and each one holds enemies, loot, and sometimes even secrets worth grabbing. These camps are usually taken over by dangerous groups like deserters, pirates, or ordinary bandits who don’t want anyone snooping around their hideouts. This guide will tell you all the bandit camp locations across Velen, Novigrad, Wild Orchard, and Skellige.
All Bandit Camp Locations
Bandit camps are usually filled with dangerous people, bandits, deserters, pirates, cannibals, Scoia’tael fighters, or even Nilfgaardian soldiers. Some of these camps, especially the ones close to villages, will eventually be taken over by civilians once you clear them out. Going into a bandit camp without preparation can get you killed, even if you’re a witcher. You will often be fighting groups of enemies who want to keep their hideout hidden. But if you manage to defeat them and loot everything, the rewards can be very good.
Velen
Velen was a province in northern Temeria, best known for the Aretuza Academy of Magic located near its main city, Gors Velen. But after the early stages of the Third Northern War tore through the region, the place was left ruined and largely abandoned. That’s when people started calling it No Man’s Land.
Bandit Camp #1
Go north of the destroyed Bastion, and you will find the bandit camp. There you will find a Deserter on a bridge. Defeat him and move forward towards the camp. The camp is under the bridge, where you will find other bandits. Defeat all of them and loot the chest under the bridge.
Bandit Camp #2
Go east of Ancient Oak towards the ocean. Here, you will find a few bandits camping near a campfire. Defeat all of them and loot the crate inside the camp.
Bandit Camp #3
Go towards the north-west of Benek. You will find the bandit camp in an abandoned, broken house. There you will find a few bandits and dogs as well. Defeat all of them, and you will find the treasure chest on the broken upper floor of the house. You will also find a few chests on the ground floor of the house.
Bandit Camp #4
You need to move to the north side of Lurtch. You will find the bandits camping near a big tree. You will find the bandit camp beside the road. In the bandit camp, you will find a few bandits and archers. Defeat all of them and loot the treasure chest inside the camp.
Bandit Camp #5
Go towards the east of Lindenvale. You will find the bandit camp on a small mountain. Once you reach here, you will see some bandits and archers. Defeat all of them, and you will get the treasure chest at the top of the mountain, near a tree.
Bandit Camp #6
Go towards the north of Lindenvale. You will find the bandit camp near the watchtower. Here, you will find some bandits. Defeat them and climb the watchtower to loot the treasure chest.
Bandit Camp #7
Go towards the north of the devil’s pit, and you will find the bandit camp near a big abandoned house. Inside the bandit Camp, you will find some bandits. Defeat them and move forward. Since this bandit camp is very big, you will find a lot of treasure chests inside the camp
Bandit Camp #8
Go towards the east of Devil’s Pit, and you will find the bandit camp beside the road, just near a broken house. You will find a few bandits, so defeat them and loot the treasure chest near the broken house.
Bandit Camp #9
Head towards the north of the Inn at the Crossroads. You will find the bandit camp at the end of the road in the jungle. You will find a few bandits in the camp. So, defeat all of them and loot the treasure chest beside them.
Bandit Camp #10
Go towards the east of Blackbough. The bandit Camp is located beside the road near a big tree. You will find a few bandits and an archer inside the camp. Defeat all of them and loot the treasure in front of the house.
Bandit Camp #11
Head towards the east of the Coast of Wrecks. You will find the bandit camp in the middle of the jungle between some big trees. You need to defeat a few of the bandits and loot the treasure chest at the bottom of the tree, just near the campfire.
Bandit Camp #12
Go towards the east of the refugee camp. You will find the bandit camp beside the road, near a big tree. You need to defeat the bandits and loot the treasure chest under the tree, near the campfire.
Bandit Camp #13
Head south of the refugee camp. You will find the bandit camp in the middle of the forest. Here, you will find a few bandits. Defeat them and loot the treasure chest under the tree.
Bandit Camp #14
Go towards the north of the Coast of Wrecks. You will find the bandit camp beside the road. Defeat all the bandits and loot their treasure chest near the campfire.
Bandit Camp #15
Go towards the north of Condyle. You will find a bandit camp inside the abandoned broken castle. Enter the castle to find a lot of bandits. Defeat all of them and loot the treasure chest just near the tent.
Bandit Camp #16
Head towards the south of Condyle. You will find the bandit camp near an abandoned settlement. You will need to defeat a lot of bandits inside the settlement. After that, loot the treasure chest inside the house.
Bandit Camp #17
Go towards the east of Condyle, and you will find the bandit camp near the river. You will find bandits and a few archers. Defeat all of them, and you will find the treasure chest near the wooden cart.
Bandit Camp #18
Go towards the north of Condyle, and you will find the bandit camp beside a road. You need to defeat a few bandits and loot the treasure chest. You will find the chest beside a broken car.
Bandit Camp #19
Head towards the south of Condyle, and you will find a bandit camp in the middle of the forest. You will find a few bandits. Defeat all of them and loot the treasure chest beside the human meat.
Novigrad
Novigrad is a free city that sits inside Redania’s borders, but it doesn’t actually follow Redania’s laws. It runs on its own. It’s also one of the biggest port cities on the entire continent, home to almost 30,000 people, which makes it one of the largest and busiest cities in the North.
Bandit Camp #20
Go towards the east of Alness. You will find the bandit camp in the middle of the forest. You need to defeat a few bandits and loot the treasure chest near the campfire.
Bandit Camp #21
Go towards the south of Crossroads, and you will find the bandit camp in the middle of the road near some broken carts. Inside the camp, you will find a few bandits and archers. Defeat all of them and loot the treasure chest near the wooden cart.
Bandit Camp #22
Go towards the east of Widows Grotto. You will find the bandit camp inside an abandoned house. If you are lucky enough, you will not find any bandits inside the camp. You will find the treasure chest towards the right after you enter the house.
Skellige
Skellige is a group of six islands and one of the Northern Kingdoms. The archipelago sits out in the Great Sea, just off the coast of Cintra and southwest of Cidaris and Verden. The place is legendary, known for its fearless warriors, skilled sailors, and longships that can outrun almost anything on the water.
Bandit Camp #23
Go north of Holmsteins’ port. You will find the bandit camp near a wooden fence, in the middle of the forest. You will find a few bandits here. Defeat them all and loot the chest near the campfire.
Bandit Camp #24
Go towards the east of Rannvaig. You will find the bandit camp near a tree. There will be a few bandits inside the camp. Defeat them and loot the treasure chest near the campfire.
Bandit Camp #25
Head to Whale Graveyard, and you will find the bandit camp near the beach. On the way to the bandit camp, you will find a lot of bandits. Defeat all of them to move forward. Inside the camp, you will find a few bandits; defeat them and loot the treasure chest inside the tent.
Bandit Camp #26
Go towards the Giant Tows. Here, you will find the bandit camp under a rock just near the beach. Defeat all of the bandits inside the camp and loot the treasure chest near a rock.
Bandit Camp #27
In the middle of the ocean, you will find an island. Use your boat to sail towards the island. Beside the seashore, you will find a bandit camp. Defeat a few of the bandits inside the camp and loot the treasure chest inside the tent.
Bandit Camp #28
Head towards the old watchtower. Inside, you will find a bandit camp. There will be a lot of bandits inside. Defeat all of them and loot the treasure chest on the first floor of the watchtower.
White Orchard
White Orchard is a small region and village in Temeria, known for its beautiful fruit orchards that bloom with white flowers every spring. The peaceful Ismena River runs right through the village and flows northward, adding to the calm, countryside feel of the place.
Bandit Camp #29
Go towards the north of Sawmill. In the middle of the forest, you will find a bandit camp. Defeat the few bandits present inside the camp and loot the treasure chest present near the tent.
Bandit Camp #30
Head towards the south of the broken bridge. You will find the bandit camp in the middle of the forest. Defeat a few of the bandits inside the camp and loot the treasure chest inside the tent.
Bandit Camp #31
Go towards the south of Ford in the middle of the forest. You will find a bandit camp. Defeat a few of the bandits and archers and loot the treasure chest near the campfire.
Bandit Camp #32
Go towards the east of the Ransacked village. You will find a broken castle on top of a hill. Climb the hill and reach the castle, and defeat all of the bandits inside the castle to loot the treasure chest.
Bandit Camp #33
Head towards the west of Crossroads. You will find the bandit camp near a tree on the bridge. Defeat all of the bandits inside the camp and loot the treasure chest near the big tree.
