All Ancestral Tattoos in Path of Exile 2 – Halls of the Dead Bonus Attributes & Resistances

Ancestral tattoos in Path of Exile 2 are a unique way to boost your character’s stats while exploring the Halls of the Dead. By completing trials, players can collect blank tattoos and bring them to Hinekora to transform them into powerful buffs. This guide is going to show you how to earn each tattoo and choose the right boosts to enhance your attributes and resistances.

How to Use Ancestral Tattoos for Buffs

Among the many quests and tasks in Path of Exile 2, some reward you with passive stat boosts through ancestral tattoos. Here’s how they work.

Finding & Using Blank Tattoos

Blank tattoos are rewarded to players who complete trials within the Halls of the Dead. Once you finish a trial, you’ll get a blank tattoo that can be taken to Hinekora in the Halls of the Dead.

At the Hinekora Totem, each blank tattoo can be transformed into one of two different buffs. Here’s a breakdown:

Tattoo of Tasalio – Choose either

With the Tattoo of Tasalio, you have the option to enhance your intelligence by five points or boost your cold resistance by 5%.

Tattoo of Tawhoa – Choose either

The Tattoo of Tawhoa can be crafted into either a tattoo that increases your dexterity by five points or one that improves your lightning resistance by 5%.

Blank Tattoo of Ngamahu – Choose either

The Tattoo of Ngamahu allows you to either raise your strength by five points or gain an extra 5% fire resistance.

These tattoos let you pick a buff that suits your character’s build, whether it’s boosting a core stat or adding extra elemental resistance. Simply complete a trial, get the blank tattoo, and decide which buff fits your needs at the Hinekora Totem.
