All AK-47 Assault Rifle Locations in Metal Gear Solid Delta: Snake Eater

If you want to add some extra firepower to your loadout in Metal Gear Solid Delta: Snake Eater, the AK-47 is one weapon you need. It’s one of the most reliable assault rifles in the game giving you the option to fire in either bursts or full-auto. In this guide, we will show you exactly where to find the AK-47 so that you can get it as early as possible.

AK-47 Assault Rifle

The AK-47 is an assault rifle designed by Mikhail Kalashnikov. It was made to mix the accuracy of a rifle with the rapid fire of a submachine gun. It uses 7.62 x 39mm rounds and comes with a 30-round detachable magazine. You can fire it in either semi-auto or full-auto mode. In the game, it’s a standard weapon for Soviet forces and FOX soldiers under Gene.

The AK-47 hits hard, especially in full-auto, but it’s also pretty loud, heavy, and has a lot of recoil, which makes it less accurate. In close-range fights, full-auto can take out multiple enemies quickly. For long-range battles, though, it’s better to switch to semi-auto and aim for headshots to save ammo and stay accurate. Overall, it’s a good weapon for mid to long-range combat if you know how to use it properly.
