All 9 Stagfather Shrines Locations

In Tainted Grail: The Fall of Avalon, the Stagfather Shrines are spread across the three main regions and offer a hunting challenge where you have to take down three Wyrddeer, one every twenty seconds or so. To do well, brew stamina potions that keep your stamina from dropping for a full minute, so you can keep attacking without running out of energy.

Use the King’s Power ability to slow down time and get some early hits in on the Wyrddeer. Before starting, make sure you’ve completed the quest to hunt your first Wyrddeer during the Wyrd hours at night.

For the best results, use two-handed weapons and focus on high melee skills to take down the Wyrddeer quickly. Fast-casting spells can work too, but two-handed weapons help because you don’t have to manage using both stamina and power bars at the same time.

Horns Of The South: Stagfather Shrine – 1

This shrine is located across the river, right past the Abandoned Village waypoint. Be careful, this area often has highwaymen and bandits. It’s a good idea to clear them out before starting the trial so you won’t get interrupted.

Horns Of The South: Stagfather Shrine – 2

This shrine is located between King’s Road and Abandoned Village, two waypoints. To start the trial, rest until morning, then prepare yourself to face the Stagfather Shrine Challenge.

Horns Of The South: Stagfather Shrine – 3

This shrine is located close to the Abandoned Stronghold, immediately below the Deserted Settlement waypoint. Look for it right above the hill’s crest, it’s easy to spot once you’re close.

Cuanacht: Stagfather Shrine – 1

This shrine is located in the swamps, directly adjacent to the Swamps waypoint. Watch out when you explore because it’s in a muddy area.

Cuanacht: Stagfather Shrine – 2

This shrine is conveniently located near one of the main gates leading out of the Horns of the South, next to the Mourning Harpist and the Cuanacht Region waypoint. Just before you get to the Stone Face Passage and the swamp’s edge, look for it.

Cuanacht: Stagfather Shrine – 3

Start at the Farmlands waypoint to get to this shrine. Swim across the sizable lake close to the Abyss of Sagremor dungeon after heading north past the Cuanacht Waterworks. On the other side, the shrine awaits you.

Forlorn Swords: Stagfather Shrine – 1

This shrine is close to Ulfr Village, just outside the Old Wyrdstone Mine. If you finish it, you’ll be rewarded with the Pilgrim of the Wilds accomplishment.

Forlorn Swords: Stagfather Shrine – 2

Sveinn Village and the Abandoned Mine Cave are separated by this shrine. Using the Sveinn Village waypoint and then heading south, away from the forest and out of the mountains, is the simplest way to get there. The shrine is located directly at a fork in the road.

Forlorn Swords: Stagfather Shrine – 3

This shrine is located just to the north of the Main Gate of Forlorn Swords. After you go through the gate, just keep heading straight north, don’t take any side paths or forks. Eventually, you’ll spot the shrine near a small hill.
