The Trials of Aql in Dune Awakening are a series of tests you must complete in order to advance through the game. Every test is present in various places throughout the large, perilous world, which means you will have to delve deep into caverns, climb tall rock structures and travel through tough terrains. All 8 Trial Of AQL Locations
Completing all eight Trials of Aql is a part of the Fremen quest. Below are all the eight locations.
1. First Trial – Mihna Cavern
To find the First Trial of Aql, head towards Mihna Cavern, which is in the southern part of Hagga Basin. After you have a Spice Dream, a marker will appear on your map showing exactly where to go.
2. Second Trial – The Deep Struggle
To find the Second Trial of Aql, head inside The Deep Struggle. It is located in Eastern Vermillius Gap. Look for a cave entrance in the rock formations on the right side of the area. Once inside, head all the way down to the lowest level to find the spice plate.
3. Third Trial – The Lost Pilgrim
To find the Third Trial of Aql, head towards the Cave of the Lost Pilgrim, which is located south of the Wreck of Pallas, inside a large rock formation in the western part of Vermillius Gap.
4. Fourth Trial – The Hollow Hammer
To find the Fourth Trial of Aql, head towards The Hollow Hammer, which is a giant hammer-shaped rock between East and West Vermillius Gap. You will need to climb up one of the rock pillars and follow the stairs leading to the trial.
5. Fifth Trial – The Hidden Test
To find the Fifth Trial of Aql, head inside The Hidden Test cave in Hagga Rift. To get there, you will need to jump into a deep hole. It’s a good idea to use a suspensor device like the Emperor’s Wings to help you descend safely.
6. Sixth Trial – Devil’s Eye Cavern
To find the Sixth Trial of Aql, head inside the Devil’s Eye Cavern. It is located in the Jabal Eifrit Al-Sharq. Using a vehicle to reach this area is highly recommended.
7. Seventh Trial – The Red Maw
To find the Seventh Trial of Aql, head towards The Red Maw which is located in the Hagga Rift. You will find it in the upper right corner of Hagga Basin, on the western side of Hagga Rift.
8. Eighth Trial – Sietch Ta’lab
To find the Eighth Trial of Aql, head towards the Sietch Ta’lab, located in the Eastern Shield Wall. This area lies directly north of Western Vermillius Gap, on the northern edge of Hagga Basin.
