All 6 Endings in Vampire The Masquerade Bloodlines 2

Vampire: The Masquerade – Bloodlines 2 has six endings, and each of these depends on who ends up ruling over Seattle — or what remains of it. Your end result is based on how you’ve interacted with the city’s major players and the decisions you make in pivotal story choices.

Completing each ending opens up one of these achievements:

A City in Flames, A City of Anarchy, A City Most Fabulous, A City Restored, A City Unchained, and A City of Kinship.

Though the overall story is linear, dialogue choices during the campaign influence your alliances and decide who makes it — or goes up in flames — during the ending.

Ending 1: A City in Flames

This is the game’s “bad” ending, and everything depends on a single moment. During the mission “We Don’t Do Ghost Stories”, you’ll encounter Agent Baker. To unlock the A City in Flames ending, you need to kill Baker instead of making them a vampire.

This locks you into this final scenario regardless of what else you’ve done, so that the I.A.O. resume their attack on Seattle. The city is aflame, and there’s pandemonium — appropriate to the name.

Ending 2: A City of Anarchy

This result puts Katsumi in control of Seattle. To achieve it, have a generally positive relationship with her but a neutral or cold one towards the other groups. Back her vision, be loyal, and do not side with competitors such as Lou or Ryong.

Choices that enhance this route include:

  • Aligning with Katsumi during “Turning Down the Heat” and “The Coursing of the Rats.”
  • Providing Max or Benny to Katsumi when asked.
  • Biting Agent Baker rather than killing them at the end of “We Don’t Do Ghost Stories.”
  • Encouraging Baker to command I.A.O. troops out of Seattle.
  • Maintaining her trust, and by the end of the season, she’ll take over in the anarchy, leading a city forged in rebellion and anarchy.

Ending 3: A City Most Fabulous

If you depart Seattle behind, Tolly becomes the city’s improbable ruler. This path asks you to distance yourself from the others — frequently assisting Lou but ending up not becoming Prince yourself.

You’ll need to remain friendly with Lou, against Katsumi and Ryong, and ensure you don’t declare yourself leader. Once the ultimate choices are made, double-check that you’re departing. With everyone else eliminated, Tolly stands up to be in charge.

Tolly’s reign is the most unpredictable incarnation of Seattle — quirky, wild, and held together by strings.

Ending 4: A City Restored

This final brings Lou Graham to the top as Seattle’s new leader. To do it, you have to perform in favor of Lou all the time while killing rival ambitions at all times.

Help Lou on quests such as “Chains of Lead and Gold,” “Taste of Description,” and “Tome Alone.”

Be overtly aggressive towards Katsumi, Ryong, and Max whenever it is possible.

During “Putting Out the Trash,” tell Baker to lead the I.A.O. out of Seattle and tell Ryong that you’ll stay.

Lou’s rule represents order — or at least the illusion of it — as she rebuilds Seattle from the wreckage, striving to restore the Masquerade and the city’s structure.

Ending 5: A City Unchained

This path puts Phyre, your own character, in control of Seattle. It’s the “power” ending, achieved by rejecting the other factions and embracing your own authority.

You’ll need to stay mostly hostile to the other leaders while signaling your intent to remain in Seattle. During key missions, side with Lou only when it benefits your rise, then betray her later. In the final act:

  • Tell Baker the I.A.O. should destroy the Anarchs.
  • Tell Ryong you’ll stay in Seattle.
  • Tell Fabian, “I will be Prince.”
  • Reassure Tolly you’ll remain and take charge.
  • By the end, Phyre becomes the undisputed Prince, ruling over a city forever changed — unbound and unchained.

Ending 6: A City of Kinship

This extremely secret and personal ending encourages players to build strong and positive relationships with their companions, but currently, there are not many details about this ending.
