All 5 Protectorate Armorial ID Locations – Outer Worlds 2

In Outer Worlds 2, the Skycutter Tower holds a special Protectorate container that can’t be opened without collecting five Protectorate Armorial IDs. These IDs are spread across different floors of the tower, often guarded by dangerous enemies like Raptidons and Protectorate units, or lying near fallen wardens. This guide will take you step by step to find all five IDs, showing you where to go, what threats to watch out for, and what loot you can pick up along the way.

All 5 Protectorate Armorial ID Locations

As you explore the Skycutter Tower in The Outer Worlds 2, you will come across a large, sealed Protectorate container. To unlock it, you will need to find five Protectorate Armorial IDs scattered across the facility. Each one is located on a different floor, usually near fallen wardens or guarded by Raptidons and Protectorate units. Here’s a simple walkthrough for where to find all five IDs and what to expect along the way.

Protectorate Armorial ID #1 (Container Room)

When you first enter the building, head down into the lower levels. You will come across a Raptidon Hunter near a workbench. There’s also a locked door on your left that leads deeper into the facility. You can either lockpick it or use the key found on the body under the Raptidon. A second Raptidon will drop from the ceiling as you fight the first one. They’re not too tough, but both can turn invisible, so stay alert.

After taking them down, loot the warden’s body in the corner to get the Protectorate Armorial ID, Skycutter Entrance Key and Jewelled Ring. You will also find Mercy Oxymorphone, Short Rounds, and Black Powder nearby. Once done, interact with the Protectorate container in the room, and you will get a message saying you need four more IDs to open it.

Protectorate Armorial ID #2

Return to the locked door you saw earlier. Unlock it using your Lockpick skill or the warden’s key, and head inside. You will enter a large area with a central elevator shaft. This place is heavily guarded, except for 2 Sentry Turrets, 2 Protectorate Dragoons, and 2 Protectorate Wasps.

Clear out all enemies, then look for another warden’s corpse on the south side of the floor, near the middle. Loot the body to find the Protectorate Armorial ID, x13 Bit Cartridge, the Mercy Oxymorphone and the Regal Tarts.

Protectorate Armorial ID #3

The elevator won’t work yet, so use the stairs in the northeast corner to climb up. Keep going until you find a ladder leading to the next floor. There will be two Raptidons waiting. Take them out, then look for the next warden’s body. To reach it, double-jump across a gap between two platforms on Deck 3. The body holds Protectorate Armorial ID and x4 Shells.

Protectorate Armorial ID #4

The fourth ID is found on Deck 6, just before you can activate the elevator. Follow the path upward until you reach the Cadet Warden beside the elevator terminal. Loot their body to collect the Protectorate Armorial ID, Skycutter Lift Override Key, and x9 Short Rounds. After picking these up, use the elevator terminal to power it up and take it to the top floor.

Protectorate Armorial ID #5

Once the elevator is working, call it down to Deck 6 and ride it to the top floor. On the way, you will be attacked by waves of Raptidons, usually two or three at a time. Defeat them all and then use the elevator to reach the roof. At the top, you will find a med station and a door leading outside. Step onto the outer catwalk and check the area near the Control Panel.

The final warden’s body here contains the Protectorate Armorial ID, Control Panel Schematics and the Repeating Rifle. Next to the body, you will also spot a legendary melee weapon stuck in the wall, the Thunderstruck. It’s great for melee builds, and its heavy attacks fire shock projectiles at enemies.

Protectorate Container

Once you have collected all five IDs, return to the first floor and interact with the Protectorate container again. It will finally unlock, giving you the following rewards: Vestige Datapad, x934 Bit Cartridge, the Advanced Decryption Key, and the Trauma Kit.
