All 15 New Costume Locations

Lies of P: Overture DLC has 15 new costumes and accessories for players to unlock. These are battle wear, masks, hats, and special equipment, each with different requirements to be unlocked. Below are the locations of all 15 new costumes.

1. Winter’s Hunting Apparel & Hat Location

You can get this outfit by defeating the optional Survivor mini-boss. You will find him in the Workshop Union Culvert area, near the Venigni Works Control Room. To reach this spot, you will need to break through a wall to access the hidden section.

2. Reddened Tailcoat Location

To get Reddened Tailcoat, you need to defeat Markiona, the Puppeteer of Death, who is a boss you will face in the Lies of P: Overture DLC. This fight is a bit more intense, as you will be taking on both Markiona and the Queen’s Arche Puppet at the same time. Like other bosses in the game, defeating Markiona will reward you with rare Ergo, a valuable resource you can later trade for powerful weapons and unique amulets. You’ll find this boss deep inside the Krat Greenhouse, specifically in the Greenhouse Interior area.

After defeating Markiona, the Puppeteer of Death, activate Markiona’s Birdcage Stargazer. Then fast travel back to the Greenhouse Outdoor Garden Stargazer. Use your key to unlock the Carnival Gates. After the fight, go down the stairs and walk through the tunnel with candles lit. A cutscene will play here, and once it’s over, you will receive two items: the Reddened Tailcoat and the Bloodstained Locket.

Once you have the key, head to the first Black Rabbit Hole, which is just past the first minigame booth down the alley where you will run into two sweeper maids. To get Permeating Death’s Huntin Apparel & The Youngest’s Mask, start after you have looted and equipped the full second brother’s outfit from the first Black Rabbit Hole, the second key will automatically appear in your inventory. With that key, make your way to the Eventide Hotel Krat. Head upstairs and follow the hallway until you reach the Gold Fruit Tree.

Unlock the hole and open the vault inside to get the Youngest’s Mask and the Permeating Death’s Hunting Apparel. When you put on this outfit, you will also receive an item called the Delivery Receipt.

5. Blue Sheep’s Apparel & Mask Location

To get Blue Sheep’s Apparel & Mask, you need to defeat Veronique. To find Veronique, start from the Coolant Control Room Stargazer. From there, just exit the room and head left, and you will quickly enter the boss arena where the fight begins.

Veronique, Leader of the Sweepers, is a fast and aggressive boss who uses a hammer powered by an engine to unleash rapid spins, heavy slams, and long combos that leave little room for mistakes. While her attacks are limited to close range, giving players space to retreat and observe, her hammer spins can be countered with Perfect Guards, and well-timed attacks can stagger her mid-combo.

Around 60% health, she becomes even more aggressive, igniting her hammer and using longer, more dangerous combos, including rapid slams and aerial strikes that can be dodged or blocked with good timing. Patience, precise dodging, and carefully placed counterattacks are key to defeating her.

6. The Eldest’s Gas Mask Location

To get the Eldest’s Gas Mask, make your way through the area once you have unlocked the Zelator Underground Facility. Eventually, you will come to a tricky platforming section with metal overhangs, ladders, and coolant pipes. Keep going down until the area shifts from a yellow tint to blue. As you descend, watch for a pipeline coming out of the wall below, but don’t drop down to it. Instead, look for a nearby ladder and climb down carefully. There’s an enemy at the bottom, so deal with them, and you will find the key sitting on a metal ledge.

With the key in hand, continue until you reach the Coolant Control Room Stargazer. Use it to teleport back to the Zelator Underground Facility Stargazer. From there, look to your right you will spot a metal ramp beside the doorway. Follow that ramp and continue along the metal walkway to discover the third Black Rabbit Hole. Inside, you will find the Eldest’s Gas Mask.

7. Black Death’s Protective Apparel Location

You will find the Black Death’s Protective Apparel in the same place where you found the Eldest’s Gas Mask. Equipping this set will unlock the Black Rabbit Brotherhood’s Family Photo.

8. Golden Snail’s Tailcoat & Mask Location

To get Golden Snail’s Tailcoat & Mask, you need to defeat Lumacchioo, the Leader of the Bastards. Lumacchi can be found at the Shipwrecks of Archon Fleet.

Lumacchio, Leader of the Bastards, is a quick and slippery boss who fights with an umbrella and constantly moves around the arena to avoid attacks. The battle has two phases: in the first, he uses fast umbrella strikes, sidesteps, and throws explosive canisters, sometimes hiding in smoke to set up ambushes with different attack patterns depending on his laugh.

In the second phase, at around 40% health, Lumacchio transforms into a crab-like creature with a giant claw, becoming much more aggressive with longer, harder-hitting combos. Despite his speed, both forms are vulnerable to stagger and interruption from fast attacks, and many of his moves are telegraphed, giving players a chance to dodge, block, or use Perfect Guard to create openings for counterattacks.

9. Puppet Prince’s Imperial Crown Location

To get the Puppet Prince’s Imperial Crown you need to go inside the Archon Fleet Shipwrecks. Head into the ship’s cave where you will find a distressed NPC sitting in the corner. Defeating them will instantly reward you with the Puppet Prince’s Imperial Crown.

10. Death’s Hunting Apparel Location

In Pistis Harbour, you’ll naturally come across the fourth key as you progress. After defeating the shield-wielding puppet miniboss, you’ll be able to activate a control panel that lowers a submarine. Cross the bridge over the submarine, and you’ll find the key just on the other side, tucked away in the right-hand corner.

You won’t be able to use this key right away, so hang on to it and continue along the coastline until you reach the Lighthouse. Once inside, climb all the way to the top. From there, drop down through the opening between the railings, then descend two sets of ladders. At the bottom of the second ladder, check the wall on your right, you’ll find the final Black Rabbit Hole there. Unlock it to get the Battle Maniac’s Mask and the Blazing Death’s Hunting Apparel. Equipping this gear will also reward you with the Missing Keys Log.

11. The Battle Maniac’s Mask Location

You will find The Battle Maniac’s Mask in same location as the Death’s Hunting Apparel. Use the last Black Rabbit Hole Key to open the final secret hideout. Inside, you will find it.

12. Famed Detective’s Coat & Hat Location

To get the Famed Detective’s Coat and Hat, you need to find all three cipher machines and solve the three cipher machine puzzles.

First Cipher Machine Puzzle

The first cipher, the Bloody Cipher Machine, drops after defeating the Two-Faced Overseer boss. Take it to the Tracker at Eventide Hotel for decoding. After decoding, you will see a picture of a stuffed crocodile. Go to the Hall of Adventure, find the stuffed crocodile, and collect the necropsy report inside its mouth. Bring it back to the Tracker to receive the whirlwind amulet.

Second Cipher Machine Puzzle

For the second cipher, head to the Ergo Mining Site and defeat the elite enemy Bullzdozer to get the Corroded Cipher Machine. Once decoded at the hotel, travel to the Ancient Ruins Excavation Site. Break through a rock wall with an explosive to find the Misfit’s Diary inside a cave. Return it to the Tracker and you will receive an ancient disk as a reward.

Third Cipher Machine Puzzle

The third cipher, the Frosted Cipher Machine, is found in a safe at the Archon Fleet Shipwrecks, guarded by an elite enemy. After decoding, defeat the Bastard Story Boss, then visit the Wandering Merchant near the stargazer to buy the Giant’s Amulet. Equip it and step on the floor panel at Krat Lighthouse to open a secret room. Collect the Lighthouse Keeper’s Journal inside and bring it back to the Tracker to earn a set of detective’s clothes.

If you are having a hard time finding the cipher machines and solving the puzzles, read our guide on All Cipher Machine Locations and Solutions in Lies of P Overture DLC.

13. Famous Detective’s Mustache, Veteran’s Eyepatch, Great Adventure Mask Location

Back at the Hotel, go have a chat with Klaus. First, you have to give him a luxury bag that you will find in the shipwreck on the Frozen Coast. Klaus is the one who lets you trade in your Ancient Disks for some special gear. You can grab the Great Adventure Mask for one disk, and if you have got more to spare, the Veteran Eyepatch and Famous Detective’s Moustache also cost one disk each.

14. Leader’s Battle Apparel & Mask Location

You will find Leader’s Battle Apparel & Mask after defeating Arlecchino. Arlecchino, the Blood Artist, is the final boss of the Overture DLC, and you will fight him alongside Lea, the Legendary Stalker. In the first phase, he uses a sword and sickle for quick, close-range attacks that can be dodged or blocked, but staying too close can be risky.

In phase two, he becomes much more aggressive, switching to blood-infused dual sabers and adding wide, fast, and unpredictable attacks that demand careful blocking and dodging. Lea plays a key role throughout the fight by distracting Arlecchino, giving you openings to attack or stagger him, so it’s important to revive her whenever she goes down to make the fight more manageable.

15. Genius Meister’s Monocle Location

Once you have defeated the final boss, head back to the battlefield where the fight took place. You will find the Genius Meister’s Monocle lying there.
