In Ghost of Yotei, there are hidden spots called Special Places where you can bow or play your Shamisen to connect with nature. These locations are marked by a bowing signpost, and when you interact with them, you will see the world around Atsu respond in small but beautiful ways. Finding at least 10 of these spots across Ezo will unlock the Speaking with the Land trophy. Below, we will go through all 10 locations to help you get this achievement easily.
Speaking with the Land (10 Special Places Locations)
Special Places are little unique spots you can find around the world. They’re always marked with a bowing signpost, so you will know when you’ve found one. When you bow or even play your Shamisen there, nature will respond to Atsu in small, subtle ways. If you visit at least 10 of these Special Places across Ezo and interact with them, you will unlock the Speaking with the Land trophy.
Southern Coast


Reach the location marked on the map above. Look for the patch of water that sticks out into the shore; you will find the location right nearby.
Lake Shikotsu


Reach the location marked on the map above. Head over to the eastern side of Lake Shikotsu, about halfway down. Just beside the river, you will find the signpost.
Sarubetsu River Altar



Go to where the Sarubetsu River splits. Under a yellow tree, you will find the Sarubetsu River Altar, right beside the pit with the Altar of Reflection.
Near Rumoi River



Travel south of the Rumoi River. You will see a field of purple flowers. Move towards the thin tree. Beside the tree, you will find the signpost.
Ishikari River
Follow the Ishikari River to its split. On a little dry patch along the riverbank, you will come across this location.
Huranui’s Rest Inn


Fast travel to Huranui’s Rest Inn, then turn around. Just behind the inn, where the river splits you will see this one after only a few steps.
Amber Respite Shrine



At the entrance to Amber Respite Shrine in the northwest corner of the region, look toward the waterfall. There’s a flat rock sitting in the lake head there to find the spot.
Cukpet Hills


When you first arrive in this region, head straight south along the same river you sailed in on. There’s a campsite along the riverbank with the location.
Sakura Woods


North of Sakura Woods, go to the Abandoned Village. From there, take the looping path up to a raised rock that overlooks the lake you will find the location on top.
Seijani Temple



Enter Seijani Temple and keep going straight until you reach the building. From there, move left toward the waterfall. At the water’s edge, you will find the last location.
Hikari River


Reach the location marked on the map above. Here, you will find the signpost just inside the forest. Follow the watery trails to reach the signpost.
