The mine can be located in the Shatterscarp area, which is full of challenging terrain such as twisting valleys and steep cliffs. Traveling through this rough terrain will be some challenge, so you should be ready to do some exploring before reaching the mine.
How to Get There
When you’re close to the mine, look for the camp area near the marker for the Abandoned Mine. Keep an eye out for a cliff where wooden boards are leaning against the rock. This is an important visual clue that you’re heading in the right direction. The entrance itself is a small hole in the cave wall, located near the boards. It’s positioned around 9 o’clock to 8 o’clock from where the map marker is.
Once you find the hole, head inside the mine. Be ready for combat, as you’ll face beetles waiting for you in the dark. Make sure your gear is in good shape before entering, as you’ll need it to handle the enemies inside.
To find Ruanga, turn around and head into a hidden cavern above and to your left. You’ll need to climb up some wooden platforms in the back of the area. Look around for a breakable barrier in the cave, and once you’ve broken through, climb up the ledges. Eventually, you’ll reach a cliff edge. Enter the opening, and Ruanga will be there waiting for you.
When you finally speak to Ruanga, don’t expect her to join your group right away. She’ll refuse, regardless of what you’ve done earlier in the quest. After speaking to her, the quest will be marked as completed, and you’ll be able to move on to the next objectives in your journey.
