As you navigate the world of Schedule 1, keep your eyes peeled for strategically placed Dead Drop boxes. These hidden caches offer valuable supplies and are often tucked away in less obvious locations. This guide will walk you through the known Dead Drop locations, providing specific directions to help you locate each one. From the western reaches of Westville to the docks and beyond into Suburbia, knowing these spots can significantly aid your progress and resource gathering throughout your playthrough.
Dead Drop locations
As you make your way through Schedule 1, you’ll come across plenty of Dead Drop supply boxes. You might spot a few while exploring, but chances are you won’t find them all until you’re nearing the end of your playthrough.
1. Westville Apartment
Starting from Westville on the far west side of Hyland Point, look for a brown apartment building. Just outside the second room, you’ll see a Dead Drop box mounted on the wall it’s marked with an “X” above it, so it’s easy to spot.
2. Motel Office
It’s time to circle back to one of the first locations the Motel. This time, head around to the back of the Motel’s office building, and you’ll find another Dead Drop box waiting there.
3. Thompson Construction & Demo
This next one can be a bit tricky to find when you’re just starting out in Schedule 1. The Dead Drop box near Thompson Construction & Demo is tucked along a brick wall just north of its marked location on the map. You can reach it via a walkway that connects from the Motel area.
4. Arcade
Next to the Fat Dragon Chinese restaurant, there’s a small arcade that might go unnoticed at first. Behind the building, near a white pickup truck, a Dead Drop box can be found on the back wall.
5. Casino
Rather than heading to the Casino’s main entrance, it’s better to approach from the direction of the Motel. After passing the parking garage and a red storage container, the Dead Drop box is located near one of the Casino’s back corners.
6. Taco Ticklers
Before grabbing a bite, swing around the back of Taco Ticklers. Near a green dumpster, there’s a Dead Drop box mounted on the wall perfect for picking up supplies.
7. Central Canal
One of the earliest Dead Drop boxes in the game is located near the Central Canal, in the town center. It’s tucked away close to the eastern Gas-Mart, Hyland Auto, and the Hyland Police Station easy to miss if you’re not looking closely.
8. Supermarket
Not far from the Central Canal stash, head north past the Supermarket and take two lefts. Around the back of the building, you’ll find another Dead Drop box, also used during the intro mission from Uncle Nelson.
9. Crimson Canary
Located along the eastern walls of The Crimson Canary and The Butter Box, this stash is easy to find. Just north of Town Hall, it’s positioned near two dumpsters and marked by some purple graffiti.
10. Town Hall Fountain
The final Dead Drop from Uncle Nelson’s introduction quest is located at the Town Hall fountain. Look for the brown-orange brick building in the town center the box is mounted at the base of the fountain.
11. Hyland Medical
Far to the east in Hyland, past the Town Hall and the bank, lies the medical center. The Dead Drop here is behind the building, an essential stop whether you’re injured or just passing through.
12. Fire Station
Across the street from Hyland Medical, the Fire Station has its own stash. Circle around the building to the space between it and Handy Hank’s Hardware to spot the Dead Drop beneath a window.
13. Docks Houses
One of the few Dead Drop boxes found on a residence, this one is beside the first house on the left as you enter the Docks. It’s placed right next to a blue door and a Cuke vending machine.
14. Randy’s Bait and Tackle
At the far end of the Docks, behind a green, rusted building, lies the Dead Drop for Randy’s Bait and Tackle. Just circle around the shop to find it.
16. South Gazebo
The last stash on the list is at the southernmost point of the map, in Suburbia. At the gazebo, there’s a Dead Drop box right on the floor ideal for picking up rare seeds like pseudo or Coca.
17. Top Tattoo
There’s another Dead Drop box in Westville, tucked away behind Top Tattoo. You’ll find it in a narrow alley between the tattoo shop and a nearby apartment building just look for the skull graffiti and some scattered debris. It’s pretty well hidden from pedestrians and cops, but keep in mind it gets especially dark at night, so bring a light if you’re heading there late.
18. Westville Gas-Mart
The last Dead Drop box in Westville is located behind the Gas-Mart. When you get there, head around the back and slip past the metal fence you’ll find the box waiting for you with whatever’s inside.
19. West Bridge
Right before crossing into Northtown, check under the west bridge that connects it to Westville you’ll find another Drop Box there. Just be cautious if you’re making any deals in that spot. Even if the cops are up on the bridge, they’ve got a knack for spotting what’s going on below.
20. Pawn Shop
Right outside the Pawn Shop, just around the corner to the right of the entrance, there’s a conveniently placed Dead Drop box. Inside, Mick is also available to buy any old gear.
21. Laundromat
Between the Warehouse and businesses like the Laundromat and Thrifty Threads, there’s a useful path that connects to the Docks. Along the lower-level wall behind the Laundromat, you’ll find the next Dead Drop stash.
22. Slop Shop
While traveling down one of the main roads past landmarks like Taco Ticklers and the parking garage, you’ll come across the Slop Shop diner. Behind it sits an apartment building, and at the corner closest to the Hyland Police Station, you’ll find a Dead Drop box.
