How to Join or Host a Game – REPO

R.E.P.O. is a quick-paced multiplayer game with the use of being able to talk to others getting you through the day. Either you’re attempting to host a game or play in your friend’s lobby, it is good to know the process to make the gameplay better. Since the game has peer-to-peer servers, having the right host will be a major difference in staying away from lag or losing connection. This guide will walk you through everything you require to know about entering or joining a game in order for you and your crew to focus on getting away from the horrors that await.

How to Join or Host a Game

To create a lobby in R.E.P.O., start by opening the game and selecting “Host Game.” When prompted, click “Yes” to proceed. Choose if you would like to start a new game or load a saved one – if you have one. If another prompt appears, respond by pressing “Yes” again. Finally, use the “Invite” feature to invite your teammates into the lobby.

Choosing the Right Host for a Better Experience

In R.E.P.O., the host should be the person with the most stable internet connection since the game uses peer-to-peer servers instead of dedicated ones. If your connection is weak or keeps crashing, you should let another person host to prevent unnecessary disruptions, particularly when you’re desperately trying to escape from monstrous creatures.

    Joining a Friend’s Lobby

If your internet is not great, don’t worry, you can simply accept an invitation from the host and directly connect to his/her lobby. R.E.P.O. does not currently have a method to play with online random players, but since it’s gaining popularity, that function will be implemented in the future, surely.
