How To Do Stealth Kill in Kingdom Come: Deliverance 2

In Kingdom Come: Deliverance 2, stealth kills and knockouts are going to be a great way to kill enemies quietly. But with the continuation of the game, you are going to face tougher and stronger opponents who easily deflect all the attacks. To keep being ahead of such odds, it is crucial to have all the best perks unlocked for more chances at success. This guide will lead you through the basic benefits and skills to complete stealth kills and knockouts so that you are a more effective and lethal player in the game.

Stealth Kill in Kingdom Come: Deliverance 2

Performing stealth kills and knockouts in Kingdom Come: Deliverance 2 might seem easy at first, but tougher, stronger enemies can easily deflect them. To handle these tougher opponents, you will need to have the best perks in the game.

The Tight Grip perk is one of the best for increasing your raw strength, which in turn makes stealth kills and knockouts more effective. At level 12, you can unlock the Sandman perk, which directly helps with these actions. Additionally, the Leshy 1 perk, though primarily a survival perk, boosts your stealth by 2 in the jungle, making any stealth-related actions, including kills and knockouts, more powerful.

How To Do Stealth Kill

In Kingdom Come: Deliverance 2, a stealth kill or sneaky takedown gives you two choices: you can either choke the enemy unconscious or stab them in the back with a dagger. Once they’re down, you also have the option to finish them off with a “Slaughter” move, driving your sword into their helpless body. To perform stealth kill:

  • Make sure the Stealth Kill skill is unlocked in the Player menu. It’s usually the first skill in the Stealth section. Without it, Henry won’t be able to silently eliminate enemies.
  • Ensure you have a Dagger. You get one early in the story, but if you’ve sold or lost it, you can easily find another.
  • If you’re early in the game, head to the camp southwest of Troskowitz in the Trotsky region, where a dagger is on a table outside the Herdboy’s hut.
  • At any other point, you can purchase a dagger from Swordsmiths, Blacksmiths, or Innkeepers at Taverns. It typically costs around 20 Groschen, but you can lower the price by haggling or having a good reputation with the merchant.
  • Once you have the dagger and Stealth Kill skill, you can quietly take out enemies when needed.
  • When you’re close to an enemy, the L2 button (LT on Xbox or F on PC) will appear. Hold it down to initiate a stealth kill.
  • To knock the enemy out instead of killing them, simply tap the button.
  • After initiating the kill, press R2/RT (or the right mouse button on PC) when the blue sword icon appears to overpower the enemy, preventing them from escaping or alerting others.

Once the enemy is incapacitated, you can choose to leave them unconscious, make sure they’re dead, or hide their body, depending on how risky it is to move the body and whether you think Henry would kill in that situation.
