How To Get The New Houses in Crimson Desert

In Crimson Desert, you get an opportunity to explore and convert various dilapidated houses within Pywel into your personal abode. You have the freedom to assign these lands to Kliff, Oongka, and Damiane or even allow their respective spouses to inhabit these houses. These homes, however, do not initially appear on your map, and you must explore and eliminate all the enemies surrounding them. In this guide, we’ll show you where to find all 15 new houses across Pywel and how to unlock and build your own home in each location.

How to Build a House in Pywel

There are many abandoned homes that you can use to build your own houses at Pywel. Each one of these houses can be designated to any of the three characters, letting you decide which one would stay with his or her spouse in this house.

In order to build a house, first of all, you will have to locate it and kill all the enemies that guard the place. Afterwards, the house will appear on the map. Then you can go to your camp and talk to Ross to receive a dispatch mission called “House Construction”. 

It needs 10 crew members and lasts for one day. After the construction process is over, you can go to your new property and build a home. Also, you can go to the map, click the house symbol, and assign a character to the house.

All Housing Locations

There are several abandoned houses scattered across Pywel. Here are their locations:

1. Old Sunstride House: Travel north of Paloon City and follow the road. You’ll find this house just off the side of the road.
2. Abandoned Tanner’s Old House: Located in the Calade area.
3. Old Mushroom House: Head northwest from the Abandoned Tanner’s Old House in Calade.
4. Abandoned Traveler’s Old House: Located southwest of Howling Hill Camp in Hernand.
5. Abandoned Guard’s Old House: Travel east of Hernand City, just past Anvil Hill.
6. Old Frog Chant House: Located northeast of the previous house in Dominous.
7. Old Grapescent House: Head northwest from the Old Frog Chant House. You’ll find it across the farmland, next to the castle unlocked through Damian’s questline.
8. Old Cobweb House: Travel northwest from the Old Grapescent House. It’s located just east of the Hills of No Return, on the edge of a small village.
9. Northern House: Head north of Bayen and cross the river. You’ll find this house tucked into the mountainside.
10. Old Forest House: Located inside the second S of Deinis.
11. Old Sand Swept House: Found just east of Tshalp, outside the city.
12. Old Barren Land House: Head southwest of Tshalp to find this house.
13. Old Rail Soundhouse: Located southeast of Tshalp, west of Beard Tree Gorge, and close to Dellesia.
14. Old Bloomscent House: Found just south of Dellesian City. You’ll notice plenty of flowers growing around this colourful house.
15. Old Pink Grasseave House: Travel southwest of Dellesian City to find this house.

How To Build Your Own House

Upon completion of the House Construction dispatch quest, proceed to the newly accessible location. You will discover a fenced-in area of land where you can construct your own home. This piece of land utilises the same construction method as the first house you unlocked at the Howling Hill Camp. There is room for customisation of the house and placement of some furnishings as well.

You can also designate this property to any of the three main characters. Go to the map and click on the house symbol before pressing Y on Xbox to select the character who will occupy it. There is also an option for your selected character’s spouse to reside with him/her.
