There are two Phantom Edges you can unlock in the Crimson Valley area of Phantom Blade Zero. The first is called the Flying Dagger, and you can unlock it through a side quest, while the second is the Iron Gauntlets, which you will unlock during the storyline after defeating an enemy. In this guide, we’ll show you where to find both Phantom Edges and how to unlock them.
How to Get the Flying Dagger and Iron Gauntlets
Phantom Blade Zero has two Phantom Blades that one can unlock from the Crimson Forest area, which include the Flying Dagger and the Iron Gauntlets. The Flying Dagger can be missed as it is connected to a side quest, but the Iron Gauntlets will be automatically unlocked since they are in the main storyline.
How to Get the Flying Dagger

To obtain the Flying Dagger, you must talk to Quickhand Zang, who can be found in the Crimson Forest. More specifically, Quickhand Zang can be found around the Thieves’ Guild. After talking to Quickhand Zang, he will give you an assignment to obtain three different artifacts for him.

After obtaining these artifacts, Quickhand Zang will give you the Flying Dagger, which is a Phantom Blade. The Flying Dagger allows the player to throw daggers at their enemies, thus allowing them to deal damage from a far-away place. It should be noted that the Flying Dagger is a missable Phantom Blade. This means that if you do not complete Quickhand Zang’s quest, then you will not obtain the Flying Dagger.
How to Get the Iron Gauntlets
This is unlike the Flying Dagger since the Iron Gauntlets will never be missed, as they are part of the storyline. To obtain the Iron Gauntlets, you have to advance in the Crimson Forest until you get to the Mirwood Entrance zone.
You will be required to visit the zone indicated on the map and then climb down the ladder. You will come to a huge area where an opponent who is using iron gauntlets is ready to battle against you. After defeating him, you will be awarded the Iron Gauntlets. The Iron Gauntlets are a Phantom Blade that is ideal for close-range attacks on your enemies using punches.
How to Use Both Phantom Blades
The Flying Dagger and Iron Gauntlets serve various purposes in battle. Using the Flying Dagger enables you to attack enemies from afar by throwing two swift knives at them, whereas with Iron Gauntlets, you are able to execute powerful melee strikes.
Additionally, you can link their strikes to form combos, which, although not the most powerful Phantom Blades available, should not go uncollected, particularly when it comes to exploring all there is to find in the Crimson Forest.
