Clearing the compounds is one of the easiest secondary objectives that you can achieve in MW4 DMZ as long as you know the places where to go. You will have to locate a compound on the map and then kill all the enemies present in it to complete your goal. But there may be compounds which could pose difficulty for you to clear.
How To Clear A Compound

In order to clear out the compound in MW4 DMZ, you have to find a compound with a white tent icon on the map and then wipe out all the enemies within it. There are different compounds located on the map, so you should select the compound which is easy to approach and clear.
There are compounds that are difficult to clear out when compared to other compounds. There is a compound which has a locked building which can be part of the objective. Despite wiping out all the enemies around as well as those within the underground parking, the objective will not be achieved. You should therefore try another compound.
One such compound is an isolated compound from any other enemy locations. This will make it easy to eliminate the enemies in the compound without any fear of getting more enemies or other players. Upon reaching the compound, start wiping out all the enemies in the compound.

Be careful about the progress bar that is shown on the left side of your computer screen. The progress bar will help you calculate how much of the compound you have cleared, and therefore will help you calculate whether there are enemies left behind. Some enemies may be hiding in corners and other places in the compound, so make sure that you check the whole compound before proceeding.
It is advisable to clear a compound if you want to gather loot. This mission can be done alone, but it will become easier if you have some team members who can help you eliminate enemies. However, be sure to avoid enemy teams that might pop up during the mission. Deal with them if necessary and continue checking your progress until the compound is fully cleared.
