The Endgame location in Enshrouded 1.0 known as Cinder’s Cradle contains resources that can be used to craft useful gear such as weapons and armor. Some of these resources may prove difficult to obtain. This guide covers all the important Cinder’s Cradle resources, where to find them, and the best farming spots to collect them quickly.
All Cinder’s Cradle Resources and How to Get Them
With the release of Enshrouded 1.0, players can explore the new Cinder’s Cradle endgame zone, which is filled with powerful enemies, valuable crafting materials, and challenging encounters. You will need plenty of resources to craft the best endgame weapons, armor, and other equipment.
Before you begin, you need to get yourself a strong pickaxe and unlock some skills that will help you mine some of the resources below. In order to become more efficient while mining, get the Pickaxe Specialization ability. Also, it is possible to use Prospector ability for dealing extra damage to the metal deposits and Miner ability for increasing the gathered resources.
Cinder Rock Location
Cinder Rock is one of the easiest items to gather in the end game within Cinder’s Cradle. These items are available across the entire area by using your pickaxe to break rocks and other appropriate objects. There are some other objects that look a bit different from others and offer Cinder Cradle Dirt as well. There are also some roads that you can break into Ancient Road Blocks.
Ancient Road Blocks Location
Ancient Road Blocks can be obtained through the destruction of roads found in Cinder’s Cradle. Roads in this area should be kept in mind since, apart from Cinder Rock and Cinder Cradle Dirt, they too serve as a construction block.
Basalt Location
Search for rocks with dark colors and very steep and rugged terrain. The best place to farm Basalt would be near a scorpion den at the area just between the Cinder Cradle Sky Islands and the entrance to the Springlands dungeon. Once you are there, take out your pickaxe to mine the dark rocks to get your Basalt. There are lots of Basalt available in that area.
Ember Carapace Location
Ember Carapace is obtained by killing scorpions in Cinder’s Cradle. The enemy can become a danger since their attack can stun you; hence, try not to get close to it. The best way to handle the enemy is to dodge its attacks and attack from the air using heavy attacks. Each time the scorpion is killed, you have a chance of obtaining Ember Carapace, and it becomes easier to farm for the two at Basalt.
Magma Gel Location
The Magma Gel is easily obtainable after you learn how to look for it. Start looking for the deposits in the lava-covered areas in Cinder’s Cradle. You need to gather the deposits that have a glowing appearance. Gather the deposits using your axe. Each deposit should contain about five units, and hence you need to collect all of them at once. This is easier compared to holding the pick-up button for each resource.
Maggots Location
Maggots can be found throughout Cinder’s Cradle, usually on the ground. Search for glowing worms as you explore the zone. The maggots spawn in the game and serve as the source for the Maggots you need to make your endgame fishing lure. They are relatively common, allowing you to gather them while collecting other resources as well.
Thyme Location
The thyme herb is found in all the mountain ranges of Cinder’s Cradle. Pink flowers characterize the plant, and you will need to interact with the plant in order to gather this ingredient. The thyme herb is used in cooking and is relatively abundant in the area.
Grandleaf Cabbage Location
Grandleaf Cabbage can be found on plants shaped like trumpets in the oasis area near the entrance to the Revelwood dungeon. Chop these plants using your axe to obtain the Grandleaf Cabbage. It is an ingredient that can be used to cook meals that help improve the damage of ranged and dagger attacks.
Aurora Beans Location
The Aurora Beans grow from the plants that look like the colored rainbow beans. These can be found at the same oasis as the one at the entrance of the Revelwood dungeon. One must be very cautious while eating the Aurora Beans since they lower both health and stamina levels. However, one must take the Aurora Beans to the Farmer in order to cook a meal out of them.
Venom Stinger Location
Venom Stingers are obtained from tall plants in the vicinity of the oasis, which is near the entrance of the Revelwood dungeon. Search for plants that tower above other plants in the area and smash them.
Bloomheart Fruit Location
The Bloomheart Fruit is found on a plant of considerable height and color red which grows higher than other plants in the oasis. They are relatively rare compared to small plants, and thus you have to look for some of them within the oasis. It is an important fruit because it can be used for regenerative meals.
Tropical Wood Location
Tropical Wood may be located in the Veilwater Basin, but you will also be able to find this material in the volcanic region of Cinder’s Cradle. When searching for Bloomheart Fruit in the oasis surrounding the Revelwood dungeon, pay attention to the red plants.
Prickle Pearl Location
The Prickle Pearls are hard to locate because they appear less often compared to other plants found in the area. You should try looking for them near the cave passageway that is located south of the Revelwood dungeon entrance.
Celestium Ore Location
Celestium Ore is one of the materials needed when crafting endgame equipment. One of the spots where the Celestium Ore can be mined is the underground area of Cinder Cradle Sky Islands that lies a bit to the east of the Ancient Ruins. Search for a huge lava lake because it will make the spot easy to find.
Proceed into the area and move to the right from its entrance. There will be some Celestium Ore deposits for mining with a pickaxe. Do not forget to break any containers nearby because they can also contain some resources. Having many deposits in one area, it will be a good spot for mining Celestium Ore for endgame crafting purposes.
Coal Farming Location
Coal is important for the smelting of Celestium Ore into bars, although it may not be easily available in Cinder’s Cradle. It will require you to have enough coal supplies to keep the Blast Furnace in operation. If you want to get your hands on some coal, then head over to the Ancient Spire in Albaneve Summits and look out for a cave that contains the coal resource.
Moonstone Location
Moonstone is yet another essential crafting material, and the Albaneve Summits is one of the best locations to farm for it. Travel to the final part of the dungeon, which is where there will be a research laboratory housing the spider boss.
There is the option of placing a Flame Shrine around this point for easier farming and returning. In this laboratory, search for walls that have circular lights on them. Breaking down these walls will yield Moonstone, due to their large number of destructible portions.
Diamond Location
Another resource that is needed for crafting in the endgame is Diamonds. They can be found at the Cinder Cradle Shroud, in the Proto Vessel Bay vicinity, and even at cave entrances in the area. One such spot is above the clouds, where there is an entrance to a cave that leads to a chest with high-level items inside.
Then, you need to explore the area near the Proto Vessel Bay and cave entrances. Search for a circular zone on the map and look for walls nearby. You will find a wall filled with valuable mineral deposits that can provide Diamonds.
Archaic Shards Location
Archaic Shards can be gathered by killing mechanical monsters located near Ancient Ruins. The small mechanical spiders are considered the easiest enemies to farm in order to get this resource. Explore the Ancient Ruins, kill the spiders, and collect the Archaic Shards that they will drop.
There are some larger mechanical creatures that can give you Archaic Shards and drop Archaic Cores occasionally. As both of the resources are required for advanced crafting, you will be able to advance towards the endgame equipment by killing these enemies. You can explore the rubble nearby because interaction with them will also provide some Shards and Cores.
Archaic Core Location
The Archaic Core is an important resource that drops from larger mechanical creatures located near Ancient Ruins. It is important to kill the Archaic enemies because they provide resources for the creation of Archaic Infusions, which are needed for creating endgame weapons and armor.
Archaic Infusion Crafting Materials
Archaic Infusions are essential for crafting powerful endgame equipment, including pieces from the Crest of Flame and Ember Guard armor sets. To craft them, you need several materials:
- Magma Gel
- Sparkling Dust
- Archaic Cores
- Archaic Shards
- Archaic Essence
Such resources can be gathered from various places throughout the game as well as from various enemies. Mechanical structures and their surroundings are especially good for obtaining Archaic Cores and Shards.
Shroud Radiance Crafting Materials
The Shroud Radiance is among those resources that take a while to be obtained, since they require other materials in order to be crafted. The Shroud Radiance can be crafted at Balthazar. However, prior to crafting, you will need to make sure that you have all the necessary Shroud Relics, Green Vitriol Dust, and Pink Mushroom Meat.
Pink Mushroom Meat Location
Pink Mushroom Meat can be found in the Veilwater Basin. Go to the bigger parts of Shroud for plants containing this type of ingredient. You may also find other mushrooms in the Nomad Highlands that give you Mint Mushroom Meat.
Green Vitriol Dust Crafting Materials
Green Vitriol Dust can be made in the Laboratory. The items that you require for its preparation are Water, Iron Dust, and Sulfur. In case you do not have access to the Laboratory, then you must go through the quest at the Veilwater Basin. This will give you access to the Laboratory and Iron Dust along with other items as well.
Shroud Relic Location
The Shroud Relics can be acquired by defeating Fell in the Shroud. Because the Fell may spawn in various places covered by the Shroud, there are many ways you can farm them. In endgame farming, the best place to go is the Shroud Heartlands.
It is the newly created endgame map that has a big building with plenty of Shroud creatures that will yield Shroud Relics, Corrosive Blood, and Legendary Runes. While scavenging the building, search for orange colored substances on the floor and gather them.
Archaic Essence VII Location
Archaic Essence VII is a very significant material that can be obtained through the Gem Forge process. This enables you to upgrade your gems, retrieve your gems from your weapons, and further enhance your gems.
This material can be obtained by gathering plants from the huge Shroud structure found within the Shroud Heartlands. As you farm the Shroud Relics from the enemies here, remember to gather the plants too.
Active Mycelium Location
Active Mycelium is an ingredient used for making some end-game armor items. However, it can only be found through the Springlands path. The most effective way to get to this ingredient is from Brilin Bridge, Cinder Vault, or the first Ancient Spire of the Springlands path.
From here, glide towards the Shroud. The bright blue bubble-like substance can be found in this place. To obtain this ingredient, mine it. After finding the location of this material, it will become easier to go back to this location.
Bursting Fell Heart Location
Bursting Fell Hearts spawn from Fell Spore Seekers that were first introduced in Veilwater Basin. Some good areas for farming include the Shroud route that is found southwest of the Battlegrounds close to the Ancient Gate, or you can move to Crumbville Town and Castle where creating a quick travel point will help you farm repeatedly.
The most reliable location that can be found on this route is on top of the Crumbville map marker, where you need to find a room with a red plant, where there is usually a Fell Spore Seeker to be found. Kill it to get Bursting Fell Hearts.
