Weekly Challenge: Own and Drive the 2017 Ford Focus RS

The first task of the weekly challenges demands that you possess and drive the 2017 Ford Focus RS. In case you already have this vehicle in your possession, you only need to enter it and drive. Otherwise, you will be able to buy it at the Auto Show for 35,000 Credits, or alternatively you may win it by playing the Fully Charged season championship.

Take a Photo of Your Car

Regarding the second task, you will have to take a photograph of your 2017 Ford Focus RS. Enter Photo Mode while seated inside the car and capture an image. As soon as you leave Photo Mode, the mission will be considered complete.

Earn 3 Stars at Speed Traps

The third test involves gaining three stars in the Speed Traps. This will become more convenient for you by installing a tune that increases the speed of your car. You may choose any suitable tune; however, if you wish to do so according to the community setup, you may consider using a community tune.

The easiest area to do this test is the Tokyo City Runup Speed Trap. The speed you need to achieve to earn three stars is around 273 km/h. Fast travel to an appropriate starting point at the top of the road, and proceed to drive towards the Speed Trap at maximum speed.

    Earn a Great Skill Chain

For the last phase of the challenge, you will need to get a Great Skill Chain. One easy way of achieving this is through drifting around a level that contains trees and other objects that you can crush.

Keep your car sliding sideways while drifting and knocking down small objects. These actions will build your skill score and help you reach the required skill chain. Once you earn the Great Skill Chain, the weekly challenge will be complete.

Daily Challenge: Complete a Street Race

To start off your challenges for the day, you should try completing a Street Race. These are shown by purple race icons that you can find in your map. You have to select one and complete it, though winning is not necessarily required.

Daily Challenge: Earn at Least 1 Star from Danger Signs

The next challenge that you will have to complete involves getting at least one star from a Danger Sign. Get hold of any Danger Sign on the map and perform the car jump off the ramp. The Festival Leap Danger Sign will work well for you in completing the challenge in a short period of time.

Daily Challenge: Complete a Cross Country Race

To complete this challenge, enter any Cross Country Race marked by a green icon on the map. Finish the race to receive credit for the challenge.

Daily Challenge: Earn 3 Feed Me Skills by Smashing Vending Machines

In this mission, you will have to collect three Feed Me Skills by breaking vending machines. These vending machines can be found all around Tokyo; therefore, you will have to travel around Tokyo and locate them on the streets.

When you find a vending machine, you will have to drive into it in order to get the skill. You will have to repeat this process until you collect three of these skills. While looking for these vending machines, it’s better that you drive slowly because it will help you find them before you pass them.

Daily Challenge: Complete a Horizon Rush

This is the task that will require the completion of any Horizon Rush event. The one thing that would come in handy in completing this task would be the Horizon Rush event that can be seen towards the top side of the map.

Daily Challenge: Earn a Drift Tap Skill

In order to get a Drift Tap Skill, begin drifting and then carefully tap the back of your car on a wall or any other object. Remember that the tapping should be done delicately enough not to cause a hard crash or break the chain of skills. Once the game registers the Drift Tap Skill, the challenge is complete.

Daily Challenge: Earn at Least 1 Star from Speed Zones

Speed Zones differ from Speed Traps. While speed traps check your speed at one point, speed zones test your ability to maintain an average speed over a particular distance. For this challenge, all you need is one star from any speed zone.

The Fuji Shiba Zakura Speed Zone is the best since the road has very smooth bends, which will be easier to drive through. Just enter the zone with enough speed, and maintain the necessary average speed for the zone.

    Photo Challenge: #SliceOfLife

The #SliceOfLife challenge asks you to take a photograph of any Mazda in Jodogahama Beach. To do so, select your Mazda car from your garage. Here, you can pick the Mazda MX-5 Miata or whichever model you like best. After that, launch the map and go to Jodogahama Beach.

Find out the beach area where you see rocks behind it. Once you are there, place your Mazda car in such a way that you can see the beach landscape, and open Photo Mode to capture the picture. Ensure that both your Mazda car and the beach landscape appear in the picture.

    Treasure Hunt: Takashiro Region

In the Takashiro Region Treasure Hunt, you get a hint on how to find a tree that has a glimpse of Mount Fuji. Using this hint, you will have to find the location of the treasure chest.

Go towards the small lake present at the bottom right corner of the Takashiro Region. The treasure chest is found in the vicinity of the lake area where there is a picnic spot. Enter the treasure chest to claim your prize.

    Collectibles: Egging You On

In the Egging You On mission, you need to smash 20 egg sandwiches at the 7-Eleven Evolving World. Before going there, it would be better to start playing the game in Solo mode because collectibles may be influenced by other gamers when playing the game online. As a result, it will be more difficult to find those egg sandwiches that were not smashed before.

Take the map of the game into consideration and move to the 7-Eleven Evolving World located at the lower left side of the map. Drive around this area and try to find the egg sandwiches along the roads and in nearby areas.

Smash all the sandwiches until you collect 20 of them. When playing Solo mode after entering the game online, there can already be some of the sandwiches smashed. In that case, restarting the game may help reset the collectibles so you can find them again.

    Seasonal Championship: Coming in Hot

In the Coming in Hot season championship, C-Class Retro Hot Hatch vehicles should be used. Go to the championship destination point as indicated on the map and start the championship using a valid vehicle. The championship includes three races. It is expected that you get the maximum number of points for all three races.

It is possible to change the AI difficulty levels depending on your racing skills. Pick an appropriate level that gives you a chance of being close to the front in order to score sufficient points to win the championship. You should know that completing all the races in the same championship is necessary, or else everything starts again.

    Seasonal Championship: Weekend Break

As far as the Weekend Break championship is concerned, you have to pick out B-Class cars manufactured in America. You should select a proper American car that can qualify for the B-Class and then head for the championship venue to begin the race.

As with other seasonal races, there are three races in this championship as well. In this championship, you have to concentrate on finishing in front of AI opponents and making maximum points in order to win. There are many options available regarding eligible American manufacturers; they include Ford, Chevrolet, Dodge, Cadillac, Jeep, GMC, and Shelby.

    Seasonal Championship: Fully Charged

The Fully Charged championship demands that you own an A-Class electric vehicle. Winning the Fully Charged championship will allow you to unlock the 2017 Ford Focus RS, which makes the Fully Charged championship a great opportunity for you

This is especially useful if you wish to unlock this reward without this particular car but if you still want to participate in the weekly race. The 2023 Hyundai IONIQ 5 N is one of the best options. The car costs 20,000 credits at the Auto Show. After buying it, apply an A-Class tune and enter the Fully Charged championship. Win the championship by winning three races.

    Speed Trap: Konbini Dash

Konbini Dash challenge is where you have to reach 151.3 km/h in the Speed Trap using a B-Class Nissan. One of the cheapest models for this challenge is the 2003 Nissan Fairlady Z that costs 17,000 Credits in the Auto Show. You may apply a tune appropriate for B-Class to increase its speed.

Get ready for your car and go to the Konbini Dash Speed Trap. From the upper part of the road, start your journey to provide yourself enough distance to gain some speed. Accelerate and try to get through the Speed Trap with the necessary speed, 151.3 km/h or more. It is better to slow down a little bit if you want to take a turn without falling off the road.

    Drift Zone: Shiro Switch

In order to complete the Shiro Switch Drift Zone, it will need to earn 61,750 points in the B-Class Nissan. It would also allow you to use the same 2003 Nissan Fairlady Z car used in the previous challenge so long as it fits the criteria. Also, the tune you have for the challenge will fit the Drift Zone.

Simply drive into the zone and continue drifting around the corners. This needs to be done in a stable position while drifting but at the same time, do not collide with any obstacles. You do not have to hit three stars to complete this challenge. You simply drift until your score hits 61,750 points. With a suitable tune and a little practice, you can reach the target without too much trouble.

The Trial: Take It from the Top

The Trial will require you to employ A-Class Unlimited Off-Road vehicles. This event is done as a team, so you will be matched up with other players to race against the AI drivers. Select an appropriate vehicle from those that are allowed, then put an A-Class tune on it. An off-road vehicle that works efficiently on snowy roads with great speed and acceleration is one of the suggestions provided in the guide.

After you tune your car, go to The Trial and pick the option of finding a team. The game will find you a few players and start the race. The Trial comprises three races in which your team must win at least two to successfully finish the event.

In the race, take advantage of the downhill sections to gather speed, but be careful while landing from jumps. Do not accelerate too much while landing since it may flip your vehicle. A well-tuned off-road car should help you handle the snowy terrain and stay competitive throughout the event.

    Horizon Stunt Party

The last mission is the Horizon Stunt Party. In order to complete this mission, you should take part in and complete an event called Horizon Stunt Party. Events start each hour and stay active for about 10 minutes. You should note that events are only active when you play in online mode in Horizon Life.

Once the event becomes available, look for the large pink Horizon Stunt Party marker on the map. Set a route to the location, drive there, and sign up for the event. Complete the event to finish the challenge and earn your seasonal playlist progress.
