Scroll Buffs In AION 2
Scroll buffs are items that, when used, increase the combat skills of your character. Each of the different scrolls increases a different characteristic such as Combat Speed, Move Speed, Maximum HP, or Damage and Damage Resistance. Most basic scroll buffs only work for 5 minutes; hence, you should use them just before battle.
How To Get Scroll Buffs

There are many different ways of obtaining Scroll Buffs in AION 2. The simplest method of getting scrolls is through purchasing them from General Goods Merchants using Kina. Additionally, there are many ways through which scrolls can be acquired, including through quests, achievements, rewards, attendance, and more. There are some scrolls that can also be made using the alchemy feature. For instance, Superior Speed Scrolls can be made from basic speed scrolls.
Where To Buy Scrolls

You can purchase basic scrolls from General Goods Merchants in areas such as Verteron and Altgard. The basic Speed Scroll, for example, costs 1,000 Kina. Some of the commonly available scrolls include:
Scroll | Effect |
| Courage Scroll | Increases Combat Speed |
| Speed Scroll | Increases Move Speed |
| Benediction Scroll | Increases Max HP and Max MP |
| Battle Enhance Scroll | Increases Damage Boost and Damage Tolerance |
| Absorption Scroll | Creates a temporary damage-absorbing shield |
The exact strength can vary between normal and Superior versions.
How To Use Scroll Buffs

It is very easy to use the Scroll Buffs. Just open up your inventory and choose the scroll you wish to use. The buff will be instantly cast on you if you fulfil the conditions for it. There are also consumables which can be auto-used by your character from the inventory. This lets the game automatically activate supported buffs without requiring you to manually use them every time.
It is better to apply the Scroll Buffs you have at your disposal before difficult tasks instead of applying them to weaker enemies. Boss battles, dungeons, and Expeditions are good examples of situations when they can be used. In case of exploration and easier tasks, regular scrolls should be sufficient. As the effects of many buffs are temporary and last for just a couple of minutes, it is better to activate them just before fighting.
