Sakamoto Days is a popular Japanese comic book series created by Yuto Suzuki. It follows the story of Taro Sakamoto, a former top-tier assassin who retired to live a normal life with his family. But his past catches up with him when old enemies and former coworkers seek revenge. Shin, Taro’s new employee, couldn’t stop talking about Taro’s legendary past as a killer on his first day. This freaked out Taro’s wife, Aoi, who reminded him that returning to that life would mean divorce. Things got chaotic when a woman named Lu Shaotang fell from a window right into Taro’s arms. She was running from a dangerous gang called the Dan group who wanted a special key she possessed. Lu was all alone after the Dan group wiped out her entire organization.

Taro, despite his promise to Aoi to never kill again, couldn’t just stand by. He made a deal with Lu – she cooks him delicious pork buns, and he and Shin would protect her. But the Dan group sent two top assassins after her, and Taro had to fight them off. In the end, Taro, Shin, and Lu managed to outsmart the Dan group and find a hidden treasure. Taro then offered Lu a job at the store. However, a mysterious group called the JUU just put a huge bounty on Taro’s head, meaning his troubles are far from over.
