Before you can unlock every trophy in Beast of Reincarnation, you’ll need to find all 9 Paintings of Lore hidden throughout the world. You will have to look for these collectables in various parts of the map, and some may even be located in caves or secret areas. This guide will show you the location of every Painting of Lore so you can collect them all and earn the In Care Truth trophy.
All Paintings Of Lore Locations
In Beast of Reincarnation, there are 9 Legend Paintings that need to be collected from various locations within the game. This will earn you the achievement called In Care Truth. Simply finding a painting isn’t enough. You must interact with it for it to count towards your collection.
Ogouchi Buffer Zone Lore Painting Location
Go from Cliff-Facing Tower camp towards the northeast, and move down to the lower region. Move to the opposite side and climb using your grappling hook. There will be a cave in front of you; enter the cave and interact with the wall to get the first lore painting.
Ancient Civilization Zone Lore Painting Location
Start from the Reservoir Interior campsite and move southward. Keep going through the chamber where you fight with Lacerta. After you go past the big hole in the ground that is mentioned in the story, you will come across the Lore Painting.
The Great Wall Terraces Lore Painting Location
Start travelling southward from the Mountain Overlook campsite till you come across the Keeper Golem. You will notice an explosive barrel located near a metal grate that you will need to destroy. This will cause a wall to be removed and allow you to access the painting.
Pilgrim’s Zone Lore Painting Location
To get to the Trail Area camp, move to the northeast. Walk around the big rock structure till you find a cave towards the east. Enter the cave to find the Lore Painting.
Matsukawa Zone Lore Painting Location
From the Cave Entrance camping site, move northwest until you get to the room where you will have to kill the three Malefect before moving on. Once you kill them all, go behind to get the Lore Painting.
Fuji Frontier Zone Lore Painting Location
From the Bridge Control Room, go west once you’ve met with the Nue. Just before the path curves north, there will be a wooden structure to which you must climb using your grappling hook. Near the statue that lies beyond, there is an entrance to a cave containing the Lore Painting.
Giant Tree Zone Lore Painting Location
From the Cableway – Line 2: Peak A campsite, head east toward the ruined building. Go inside the ruins, and you’ll find the Lore Painting waiting there.
Crater Zone Lore Painting Location
At the Crater: Rear camp, go down and into the tunnel towards the east side. Continue to follow the tunnel until you reach the western end, where you will find the Lore Painting in the room.
Inukami River Zone Lore Painting Location
Starting from the Ruined Plaza camp, go north through the ruins until you reach the endpoint of that section. That’s where you’ll find the final painting.
What are Lore Paintings?
Lore paintings are collectibles that are added to your collection. You need to find this if you are aiming for 100% completion of the game. Plus, collecting all paintings will unlock the Behold, The Truth achievement, which will add up to your achievement list too.
