Hexe Marie rules the Hexe Sanctuary with a storm of crows and shadowy summons, turning what looks like a ritual site into a frantic, two phase duel. In Chapter 9’s “Black Witch” encounter you’re dropped straight into the arena with little room to breathe: she teleports constantly, fires linear crow projectiles and spawns disposable minions that interrupt your rhythm. The trick isn’t patience – it’s pressure. Stay aggressive, punish her brief recovery windows with heavy combos, clear summoned foes quickly and you’ll collapse her two health bars far faster than if you try to evade every attack. This guide explains the patterns, phase shifts and simple tactics that make the fight feel fair instead of frustrating.
Filling the Boss’s Stagger bar

Use Force Palm whenever you can and as much as possible. Force Palm is one of the best skills that you can use to fill the enemy’s stagger bar very quickly. When the stagger bar is full, you’ll be granted a window where you can attack her very briefly and inflict as much damage as possible.
Hexe Marie’s Minions

Throughout the fight, Hexe Marie is going to spawn her minions to annoy you. You should know that these minions aren’t strong enough and a few hits will suffice to clear them, but make sure to keep an eye on Marie’s attacks while you’re clearing them out.
Hexe Marie’s Crow Projectiles

Most times, you’ll notice Marie shooting crow projectiles. These are pretty easy to dodge and also watch out for her teleportation ability, it kind of makes it hard to track her because of that.
Hexe Marie’s AOE Blast

Sometimes, she’s gonna teleport right beside you, then starts gathering crows and releases them like an AOE blast.
Hexe Marie’s Close Combat

She also has a sweep attack pattern where she teleports near you and starts melee attacking you, most times you can counter them, you just need to time the counters correctly.
Hexe Marie’s Ultimate

Whenever she does this move where you can inflict damage to her, that’s her ultimate. In her ultimate, she gathers the shadowy crows and then she starts teleporting and shoots a barrage of crow projectiles at you, she teleports at least 4 times during her ultimate. These projectiles are not too hard to dodge.
Overall, Hexe Marie is a two phase boss and carries out pretty much the same attacks from her 1st phase and I wouldn’t say she’s a formidable one but it just takes time to defeat her because of her teleportation ability.
