The Spire of Clockwork tests timing and observation more than combat skill: tucked into Breezeblown Knoll, this vertical puzzle forces you to manipulate rotating cogs, trigger finicky pressure switches and ride shifting platforms to reach the roof’s abyss gate. You’ll need the Spire of Clockwork key (unlocked after Chapter 8) and a steady hand for jump timing – one missed landing can send you back down to repeat the parkour sequence. This guide walks through each switch, cog and elevator so you can breeze the spire cleanly and move on without needless backtracking.
Spire of Clockwork Location
Head to the marked location that is shown in the above map image, in Demeniss near the Breezeblown Knoll. Know that the Spire of Clockwork only unlocks after you’ve finished Chapter 8, only then can you access the spire.
Entering the Spire of Clockwork
To enter the Spire of Clockwork, walk up to the entrance and you’ll get an option to insert a key to open the door.
Note : This key can be obtained only after finishing chapter 8.
Reaching the Top of the Spire of Clockwork
When you enter the spire, you’ll notice this lever that most of us don’t notice at the beginning. Hang onto the lever for a few seconds and the lever will slide down activating the first half of the spire’s mechanism.
Then head above onto the big cog wheel at the central pole as shown in the above first image and you’ll find another lever that you need to pull down. This will activate the remaining mechanism of the spire.
This will also open up the path to the spire’s corridor that you can reach by going through the stairs followed by an opening.
Activating the Elevator
Turn right and navigate through the path after you reach the corridor and you’ll reach an elevator. Step on the elevator and press the button to activate the elevator. This will take you to the top of the Spire where the Abyss Gate spawns.
Entering the Abyss
After reaching the top of the Spire, go through the path on the right side and you’ll reach an empty space where the Abyss Gate spawns. Go through the gate and you’ll reach the Abyss where you have to complete a sequence of Abyss puzzles and also earn the Storm Imbue Element.
