This puzzle is quite easy if you know what abilities to use, even if the frozen mechanism and water-draining steps might look a bit confusing at first. Silver Wolf Mountain Ancient Ruins Puzzle
This Silver Wolf Mountain Ancient Ruins puzzle can be found in the northern part of the Pailune region. You can find these Ancient Ruins in the southwest part of the City of Pailune, directly beside the river flowing north. This will be shown on your map as a Mysterious Energy, so you can easily find it once you are close to the area.
Silver Wolf Mountain Ancient Ruins Puzzle Solution
Once you get there, the puzzle device is locked inside a block of ice. First, crouch and use Force Palm to break the ice and reveal the device inside. Next, activate Focus Mode and target the first puzzle device with Nature’s Snare. Keep blowing wind into the device for a while. This will lift a platform and drain the water down to some level. After draining the water, a second puzzle device is visible a little further down the area.
Go to the second device, activate Focus Mode, and use Nature’s Snare again. Keep blowing wind into the device for a while, and the water will drain down completely. After draining the water, the puzzle is complete. Once you have completed the Silver Wolf Mountain Ruins puzzle, an Abyss Cresset appears. Interact with it to receive an Abyss Artifact, and it will also activate a fast travel point for that area.
