To uncover the Abyss Artifact that is buried beneath the puzzle, you’ll need to solve a multi-stage puzzle that involves aligning the components of the Large Dial. Trembling Woods Ancient Ruins Puzzle Location
Head to this location of the map in the Wells Estate, you’ll reach the Trembling Woods. To identify the exact location, you can look for a question mark area that appears on the map when you get closer to the puzzle’s location.
The Solution for Trembling Woods Ancient Ruins Puzzle
The solution to solve this is rather simple: the three wheels on the opposite platform of the large dial control the three panels in the dial, they have to be rotated in such a way that it forms a proper image with the board inside the dial which unlocks the puzzle. But, as you can see the third wheel is busted but don’t worry, I got a solution for that as well.
Let’s start with the middle wheel, you just need to walk up to the wheel and the character holds onto it and then you can start pushing the wheel. This particular wheel controls the dial’s panel which is the one with a large circle placeholder. Rotate the wheel anti-clockwise such that the panel’s position is as shown in the above image on the incomplete diagram.
This particular wheel controls the dial’s board which has the rest of the diagram. Rotate the wheel clockwise until the incomplete diagram forms a complete image of a star in a circle inside the first panel as shown in the above image.
For the final wheel, use the stab skill on the wheel and it should work as the wheel’s holder by which you can rotate the wheel. You probably have noticed the pattern and know where the third panel goes. If not, you have to rotate the panel ( any direction works ) until the two small circle placeholders are on top of the two small diagrams on the second panel that is the board.
This will trigger the mechanism to uncover the hidden compartment where you’ll find an Abyss Cresset and a new fast travel checkpoint is available to you.
