In Code Vein, you are given an important choice in the story that can change how your story takes place. This choice affects the story, unlocks unique rewards, and helps you reach the secret ending. The decision is to save Noah or leave him in the past to die. This decision will determine if Noah will be with you in your journey and the final fight. If you choose to save Noah, you need to defeat Franz the Dejected Assailant. Should You Save Noah

After finishing the tutorial, return to the present timeline, and you will get the choice to save Noah or move forward without interfering with the past. Once you meet Valentin and complete his quest, you will get the Forma Storage Tower Key. When you enter the Storage Tower, a cutscene will play where you return to the present, leaving Noah behind. You will get to know that Noah was killed while trying to protect the island. After this moment, the game will give you the option to go back and change what happened. 

What Happens If You Save Noah

If you choose to save Noah, then you need to complete Noah’s Timeline Shift Decision. As a reward, you will get Frantz’s Blood Code, and Noah will also be available as a partner. Saving Noah will place him in MagMell in the present timeline. You can now exchange gifts with him to get extra items and his quests.

When you are trying to save Noah, Lavinia will tell you that there will be consequences for changing the timeline, but you can save Noah if you want. Saving Noah will give you Battle Axe: Idris’s Conceit, Superbia Bloodline: Frantz, and the Shield of Stupor forma as rewards.

If you are choosing to save Noah, then you need to move to the past, and you won’t be able to come back to the present till you save Noah. To save Noah, you need to defeat Franz the Dejected Assailant. He is a difficult boss, so you need to be careful and be patient while defeating him.

How to defeat Franz the Dejected Assailant and Save Noah

If you want to defeat Franz the Dejected Assailant, parry his melee attack and dash attack. Then dodge his ranged attack and use Idris’s Conceit to deal a big amount of damage. In the second phase, counter his teleport when he starts to glow and teleport to your location. 

Try to avoid his claw attack and dodge the laser weapon. With time and patience, you will be able to defeat Franz the Dejected Assailant. As Noah will also be there, he can review you if you go down when he is on the field.

What Happens If You Don’t Save Noah 

If you don’t save Noah, the bridge to the mainland will not open. Instead, go to the MagMell Island Pier, which is located just south of where the bridge would be. From here, you will get your motorcycle. To reach the mainland, you will need to talk to the ferrymen at the MagMell Island Pier. He will take you in his ferry to the Sunken City, letting you continue your journey. Also, if you don’t save Noah, you will not get the rewards you get for saving him, since it is the only way to collect them.

What will Noah add as a Partner in Code Vein 2

Noah G MagMell is one of the companions you can recruit in Code Vein 2. He was once a brilliant researcher at MagMell’s institute over a hundred years ago.
