Quarantine Zone: The Last Check has many endings on how good you completed your work at Checkpoint Alpha. In the 26-day campaign, every decision you make affects how the story ends. In this guide, we’ll tell you all possible endings, what you need to do to unlock the good ending, and how to unlock the bad ending.
All Endings in Quarantine Zone

There are two possible endings in Quarantine Zone: The Last Check, a good ending and a bad ending. The Campaign Mode lasts 26 days. By the end of it, if you perform well at Checkpoint Alpha, you’ll be able to leave by helicopter and finish the story. You’ll also get the option to keep playing in Endless Mode starting from Day 27.
Day 27 (Good Ending)
To unlock the good ending in Quarantine Zone: The Last Check, you need to perform well of the 26 days of Campaign Mode. The game will tell you how good you did your work over time.
There are five main checkpoints you need to complete:
- Day 5: Evacuate 5 uninfected people
- Day 10: Evacuate 9 uninfected people and make sure the Zombie Cage is active
- Day 15: Evacuate 14 uninfected people with the Zombie Cage still active
- Day 21: Evacuate 17 uninfected people and keep the Zombie Cage running
- Day 26: Evacuate 18 uninfected people with an active Zombie Cage
If you meet these targets, you’ll get the good ending. As a reward, you’ll unlock the “Good Work, Son” achievement, earn extra points and cash, and gain the option to continue playing in Endless Mode starting from Day 27.
The Zombie Cage can only have one patient at a time, so you’ll need to manage it carefully. Moving a zombie into the cage is done manually using the tablet. Once the zombie is inside, you must feed it at least one corpse every day. If you skip feeding, the zombie will try to escape. When you see the status light on the cage turning yellow, that’s your sign that the zombie is ready to be evacuated.
Day 27 (Bad Ending)
Getting the bad ending in Quarantine Zone: The Last Check is easy; you just need to perform poorly during the campaign.
To start it, you must reach Day 26 while not doing your job. The easiest way to do this is to only meet part of the required quotas instead of completing them. Make sure you fail at least three performance checkpoints, and also forget to send a zombie in a cage at least twice.
One important thing to note: running out of money does not count. If you go bankrupt, the game simply tells you that you’ve failed and asks you to restart; it will not unlock the bad ending.
