How to Get Bitter Seasons in Where Winds Meet

In order to get the Bitter Seasons ability in Where Winds Meet, the player must first unlock a hidden side story in the Qinghe area. This quest makes you explore secret places, follow clues, and fight some tough enemies. It requires some time, but after finishing the quest, you will receive the Bitter Seasons Tome. In this guide, we will show you how to get Bitter Seasons in Where Winds Meet.

How to Get Bitter Seasons

In order to unlock Bitter Seasons, you need to complete the optional Lost Chapter story found in the Qinghe region. First, open your Journal, go to the Campaigns tab, and click on Gleaming Abyss. This will provide you with a hint directing you to Moonveil Mountain, located in the southwest of Qinghe. After you have reached the mountain, the next step for you is to copy the posture of the statue in Wraith Village in order to reveal a secret place.

The first thing you need to do after you step into the secret area is to follow a deer by using the Wind Sense. After that, you will be required to use Meridian Touch to help in holding poses for the villagers, and this will give you access to the hidden shrine. You will need to explore three different routes in the shrine and gather three spirits.

Once you have collected all the souls, return to the main stone coffin and defeat several enemy waves that show up. Next, keep moving forward to find additional spirits and enemies. Eventually, you will reach the final challenge: a battle against the Void King.

After defeating the Void King, you can get the rewards that he dropped. The Bitter Seasons Tome is hidden in a secret room located at the back of the boss’s arena. Make sure that you collect it and loot the hidden area before you leave.

Bitter Seasons is an Inner Way skill that makes all your attacks likely to poison the enemies. The poison gradually deals damage and reduces their Physical Defence, thus, they receive more damage from you. The skill gets even better when you upgrade it. You will be able to poison the enemies that hit you, increase the poison chance, and apply extra debuffs to further weaken them.
