However, to acquire Radiant Cornerstones, you must defeat Elite Enemies located throughout Orsterra. How to Obtain Radiant Cornerstones
The best way to earn Radiant Cornerstones is by defeating Elite Enemies throughout Orsterra. Elite Enemies are located at predetermined points throughout the game opposed to the random locations of regular enemy encounters. The majority of the time, you can find Elite Enemies near specific lootable items, like Red Treasure Chests. When you come close enough to an Elite Enemy, it will roar and a symbol will display on-screen detailing the type and level of the enemy:
- Red symbol: Strong Elite Enemy, designed to challenge your party and push your strategy to the limit.
- Yellow symbol: Moderate Elite Enemy, requires a stronger approach but manageable.
- Blue symbol: Weak Elite Enemy, generally easy to defeat.
As soon as an Elite Enemy is defeated, one Radiant Cornerstone becomes available and all the blocked-off areas previously guarded by them open up on the map. Although Elite Enemies aren’t considered major bosses like Tytos, Herminia and Auguste in difficulty level, entering without adequate preparation can still lead to defeat after you encounter multiple random enemies in succession. Therefore, stocking up on consumables is important.
Using Radiant Cornerstones in Wishvale
Once collected, Radiant Cornerstones can be used to enhance the facilities you’ve installed. Each facility can reach up to level 3:
- Level 1: Initial installation
- Level 2: Requires multiple Radiant Cornerstones
- Level 3: Requires additional Cornerstones
Upgrading facilities gradually unlocks more features. For example, leveling up the Ranch increases the number of animals it can hold, providing more resources.
While upgrading is beneficial, it is not critical for progressing in the game. You can collect Cornerstones as you play and return to Wishvale periodically to improve your facilities over time.
