Blind to the World is one of the optional quests found in the Qinghe Region of Where Winds Meet. This guide provides you with step-by-step details on how to complete all objectives of Blind to the World, including emptying out the secret reservoir, completing several puzzles involving statues, traversing caverns filled with traps, unlocking the stone door, and finally making the last offering for the conclusion of the quest to get all rewards.
Draining the Lake

Uncle Tian can be found near a lake close to Moonveil Mountain. After speaking with him, the objective shifts underwater. Plunge to the lower region of the lake by diving underwater. You should be able to locate a stone plate connected with three chains.

Swimming out along the chains will take you to a set of controls for each chain. Swim along each one and interact with the levers at the end. Once all three are activated, the lake will fully drain, exposing what lies beneath.
Unlocking the Statue Area

After draining the water, climb down and go into the bottom of the empty well, then travel to the left for the large statue of a woman with her eyes covered by a blindfold. When you get close to the statue, talk to Uncle Tian again. You will trigger a number of floor plates that are located near the statue.
The correct sequence comes from the riddle Uncle Tian mentions earlier. The plates must be stepped on in this order:
North → East → South → West
To orient yourself, check the map. Begin at the plate directly behind the statue, then move clockwise around it. Completing the pattern correctly opens the sealed doorway leading underground.
Moving Through the Sanctuary Corridors

The passageway beyond this door has been lined with arrow traps along each wall. Using fire arrows, simply burn the ropes connected to each trap to neutralize them.
After bypassing all of the arrow traps, you will enter a large cavern where a bridge has fallen apart. Instead of crossing straight ahead, follow the cave’s outer edge until you find a side path. This route leads around the broken section.
You will be led into a water channel eventually. Do not touch or swim past the blue flowers on the walls of this channel while swimming as these flowers will cause a temporary loss of vision. If you are affected by these flowers while underwater, a visible trail will appear, leading you back to the surface.
Opening the Stone Gate

After exiting the water, progress stops at a sealed stone gate. Look across from it for elevated ground. Up there, you’ll find a pedestal that can be interacted with.
When the stone gate is activated, the bells above the gate will play a series of tunes that correspond to the symbols illuminated. Next, shoot an arrow with your bow in the exact sequence the bells rang. You will need to perform this task two times in order for the gate to open.
The Lunar Goddess and the Final Choice
An underground lake is encircled by a cavern in the next opening; its previous inhabitant was Li Zhenzhen, a.k.a. the Luna Goddess. Uncle Tian says his purpose there was to replace Li’s ruined eyes, an act Li had never wanted.
Follow the path to Li Zhenzhen’s private quarters located off the main platform. In these chambers is a Moonlit Flower, which will cause blindness on being touched. Pick it up. Also located in this room on the table is a Small Blade that you can collect.
Upon returning to the Lunar Goddess you must choose whether to give one of two items to her. Choosing either item completes the mission and triggers the final scene of the mission. You can leave the sanctuary after you have completed this final scene by returning to the main area and squeezing through the narrow gap in the wall.
