Red Dead Redemption 2 Trapper locations

The only reason to go through the trouble of hunting for Legendary Animal Pelts in Red Dead Redemption 2 is if you know how and where to sell or make use of them. Trappers buy and sell just about all the animal materials used for creating unique outfits, but they’re scattered across the map and easy to miss. Here, in this guide, we have compiled a list of every Trapper location so that players can quickly find them and unload their hunting rewards.

All Trapper Locations

Here’s a list of all the Trappers you can find in Red Dead Redemption:

Saint Denis

Saint Denis is a central hub during Chapter 4, known for its busy streets and crowded markets. Among everything the city offers, you’ll find a Trapper operating within a marketplace on the eastern side of the city. Unlike most Trappers, this one is located in a populated urban area rather than deep wilderness.

Riggs Station

One of the easiest Trappers to reach early on is located close to Riggs Station. Head northeast from the station toward Bard’s Crossing. Once there, look for a small hill and make your way upward. The Trapper’s camp is set up at the top, slightly off the main path.

Big Valley

Big Valley doesn’t have a Trapper directly within its boundaries, but there is one not too far away. Travel west from Big Valley and look toward higher ground. The Trapper is set up on a cliff overlooking the area, making this spot more secluded than most others.

Tall Trees

Later in the game, during the epilogue, you’ll gain access to the Tall Trees region. Along the edge of this area, near the Lower Montana River, you’ll find another Trapper’s camp. This location sits near the border of the region rather than deep inside it.

Annesburg

In the far northeast of the map, just outside the mining town of Annesburg, another Trapper can be found. He’s positioned southwest of the town limits, in the stretch of land between Elysian Pool and Three Sisters Rock. This location is easy to miss if you stay inside the town itself, so be sure to explore the surrounding area.
