If you want to find every Spoils of War spot in The Witcher 3, this guide will help you find all of them. To find the Spoils of War locations, you need to search underwater, dive to sunken ships, and explore the edges of islands. There are 12 Spoils of War locations in total. Most of the time, you will be fighting drowners, sirens, or other sea monsters along the way.
All Spoils of War Location
There are several Spoils of War spots hidden across the different regions in The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt, and most of them are found underwater. Keep an eye out while sailing, you will often need to dive to reach the treasure.
Skellige
Skellige is a group of six islands and one of the Northern Kingdoms. The archipelago sits out in the Great Sea, just off the coast of Cintra and southwest of Cidaris and Verden. The place is legendary, known for its fearless warriors, skilled sailors, and longships that can outrun almost anything on the water.
Spoils of War Location #1
In the middle of the ocean, you will find a group of islands. Take your boat and sail towards the island. In the middle of the island, you will find the spoils of war. You need to dive down into the ocean to find a sunken ship. Near the ship, you will find the spoil of war buried on the ground.
Spoils of War Location #2
Go to the location marked on the map above, and you will find a sunken ship in the ocean. On the deck of the sunken ship, you will find the spoil of war.
Spoils of War Location #3
In the middle of the ocean, you will find a small island. You will see the stern of a sunken ship near the island. There will be a lot of Ekhidna. Defeat them, and you will find the spoils of war on the lower deck of the sunken ship.
Spoils of War Location #4
Go to the location marked on the map above and dive down into the ocean towards the floating barrels. Under the barrel, you will find a sunken ship. There will be a lot of drowners in the area. Defeat them and move forward. You will find the spoils of war on the broken sunken ship.
Spoils of War Location #5
Reach the island marked on the map above. You will find a few dead bodies floating in the ocean. Dive down, and you will find the spoils of war near the dead bodies, beside the broken sunken ship. You will also find a few more treasure chests under the ship and on the deck.
Spoils of War Location #6
You will find an island in the middle of the ocean. Near the edge of the island, you will find a broken sunken ship. Besides the ship, you will find the spoils of war on the ocean floor.
Spoils of War Location #7
Go to the location marked on the map above. At the edge of the island, you will find a broken sunken ship. Dive into the ocean, and you will find the spoils of war on a sunken boat.
Spoils of War Location #8
In the middle of the ocean, you will find a small island. Near the edge of the island, you will find a sunken ship. Dive into the ocean, and you will find a few syrens. Defeat all of them and move forward to find the spoils of war between the grasses.
White Orchard
White Orchard is a small region and village in Temeria, known for its beautiful fruit orchards that bloom with white flowers every spring. The peaceful Ismena River runs right through the village and flows northward, adding to the calm, countryside feel of the place.
Spoils of War Location #9
Go towards the east Nilfgaardian Garrison. You will find a river. In the middle of the river, you will find a sunken boat. Beside a dead body, you will find the spoils of war, near a big boulder. Defeat all of the drowners and loot the treasure.
Pontar (Velen and Novigrad)
Velen was a province in northern Temeria, best known for the Aretuza Academy of Magic located near its capital, Gors Velen. Novigrad, on the other hand, is a free city inside Redania’s territory but doesn’t follow Redanian rule. It’s one of the biggest ports on the continent and home to almost 30,000 people, making it one of the largest cities in the North.
Spoils of War Location #10
Go towards the north of Lindenvale, and you will find a bridge. Beside the bridge, in the middle of the river, you will find the spoils of war. To get the spoils of war, head towards the floating wooden planks. Dive into the river, and you will find the treasure chest beside the skeletons. There will be a few drowners near the boat. Defeat them all and loot the treasure.
Spoils of War Location #11
Go west of the border post, and you will find a few floating bodies and wooden boxes. Dive into the river, and you will find a sunken ship. Near the sunken ship, you will find the spoils of war. There will be a few drowners roaming near the sunken ship. Defeat them and loot the treasure.
Spoils of War Location #12
Go towards the south of Duenhen. In the middle of the ocean, you will find the mast of a sunken ship. There will be a few drowners beside the ship. Defeat them all and dive into the ocean. You will find the spoils of war inside the first cabin of the ship.
