Hotpot Fever in Where Winds Meet
Hotpot is a healing item available in Where Winds Meet. It belongs to the consumable items, thus providing you with quick restoration of health or improving certain stats for a short time. These small advantages can really help you survive tougher fights and make battles easier to manage.
Eating Hotpot will recover 4,500 HP in 3 seconds for your character. The food is presented as thin slices of meat that are immersed in colourful, warm broth. However, do not forget that you have to be Level 1 minimum to use it, you have to be out of combat, and it will cost you 2 Stamina to take.
How to get the Hotpot
The Hotpot can be obtained via the Culinary: The Flavour of Sunset Glow exploration reward, which gives the Hotpot recipe, but first it should be unlocked. It is very easy to make the Hotpot once you have the recipe. Just 2 Herbs and 2 Meat Scraps are needed to prepare it.
This Hotpot will be available at Blissful Retreat. After teleportation, go east, and you will reach thick smoke. After you arrive, put the fire out, and the quest will start. There’s the fire you’re supposed to put out, and Shi Yimo will come to you to have a chat. Afterwards, you will be asked to get. If you like, you can make it from scratch using raw materials, but there is a much quicker method: simply purchase it from a nearby store.
After the short cutscene, the game will ask you to bring back a pot of stew, which is the Hotpot. You will also receive the recipe for it. If you open your map and look toward Haven’s Pier, which is just east of where you are, you will find a vendor who sells it. Buying the Hotpot instead of cooking it saves you time and effort.
When you arrive, you will see plenty of Hotpots for sale. Buy one, and fast-travel back to where you started the quest. Once you’re back, speak to the NPC again and tell them you have the item. Hand over the Hotpot to finish the quest and collect your rewards.
