If you are trying to find and collect every treasure map in the Her Legacy quest in Where Winds Meet, this guide will help you through each clue. The quest starts immediately after you complete Chapter 1: Heaven Has No Pier, and from that point on, you will be following a trail of secret notes, NPC tasks, and puzzles hidden all over the place.
Her Legacy Quest: All Next Treasure Maps Locations
The Her Legacy quest starts after you reach the marked location on your map. Once you arrive, you will discover a small winery. Go to the rear, right in between the barrels, and you will come across a person sleeping. Wake him up and have a conversation with them; he will give you your first treasure map.
First Treasure Map
Open the map and look at the clue. It points you toward the Peace Bell Tower, which is just west of the brewery in Heaven’s Pier.
Upon arriving at the tower, you should speak with the Old Angler. Only if you win the fishing contest against him then he will reveal the next clue. It is important to have a fishing rod ready (you can get it from the Peddler at Heaven’s Pier). The contest’s winner will be the one who reels in the fish and keeps it inside the green zone.
Second Treasure Map
After you win, the Old Angler will hand you a letter and another treasure map. Read both, then travel to General’s Shrine to search for the next clue.
Once you are there, use Wind Sense to spot jars sitting around the outside of the building. Break them open, and you will find an important object inside. Pick it up and talk to the character standing nearby. They will give you the next treasure map.
Third Treasure Map
Your new clue points toward a ridge, close to the Emperor Chai Temple. Once you climb up and come out of the ladder, walk to the left of the nearby hut. On the cliff’s edge, inside some bushes, you’ll find a woodcutter. Speak to him to continue the quest.
Fourth Treasure Map
This new map talks about a white bird. Head toward Bamboo Ridge, on the far east side of the map. Any nearby fast-travel point works, but using the one by the flame is quickest.
Follow the path and talk to the NPC waiting there. This triggers a quick bird-hunting minigame. Press R3 (on console) to slow down time and shoot the birds out of the air before they escape.
You need to travel to the Bamboo Retreat Boundary Stone and reach the hut. Be ready for a fight, wolves roam the area. Check around the hut, and you will find a pile of sacks with severed heads near the entrance, plus a threatening note to Jiang stuck on the broken door. This will trigger the Twisted Destiny encounter.
Search behind the hut as well. Near the steps, you will find Ruby’s Letter. When the game tells you to inspect the letter, open your Bag, go to Quest Items, and select the newest item you received. On console, press X to activate it. This completes the quest.
After completing the quest, you will be rewarded with Echo Jade ×25, Qinghe Exploration ×25, Enlightenment Points ×100, Character EXP ×10,000, and Zhou Coin ×10,000.
